Datlight And Darkness: Episode 8.The Day After

   A new day has begun in Adam's Landing.At the farm,Frank has a knock at his door.He goes to answer it to find Xavier standing on the other side.Frank lets Xavier in and Xavier tells Frank"Let's talk about everything and work out our differences."Frank tells Xavier to have a seat while he pours the both of them a cup of coffee.Xavier quips to Frank"It looks like you and Father had a scuffle."viewing B.R's picture laying broken on the floor.Frank tells Xavier"Let's talk about something else.It will take me a long time to accept the fact you're not my son."Xavier understands and asks Frank"How's the racing going?I imagine this economy's making it hard to stay in business as well as being competitive."Frank agrees with Xavier telling him"It's not easy these days but we're pretty solid with sponsors and drivers."They continue to catch up and seem to be getting along until Xavier hears a yawn coming from Frank's bedroom.He asks Frank"Guests?"Frank looks nervous,not knowing how to answer Xavier.A woman walks out of Frank's bedroom and Xavier yells"Claudia?"
   At City Hospital,Brock Jr goes to visit the coroner.He is very furious yelling"You failed me.I paid you to stay quiet!"The coroner replies"It was mandated I had no choice,but nobody knows you were the one that paid me."Brock Jr tells him"At least you did one thing right!But still you screwed up.I want my money back NOW!"The coroner tells him"If I pay you back,I will go to the ALPD and tell them."Brock Jr gets frustrated and tells the coroner"Keep the damn money!You better keep your mouth shut or you'll end up like Daddy!"He walks out of the office and the coroner looks very nervous,unsure of what to do.Brock Jr meanwhile runs into Beth on his way out of the hospital telling her"You really did it!"Beth looks at him calmly saying"What did I do Junior?"He says to her"You stole the family money!Changing paternity's and Daddy's will."Beth gets annoyed with him telling him"No Junior,Both are very much true.B.R. and I had a one night stand many years ago while I was married to your brother and he was married to your mother.The results was a son named Xavier."He begins to get angry telling her"Don't talk to me like an idiot Beth!I know what you did!"Beth gets angry and gets in Brock Jr's face and tells him"Look you leech!I have enough morals about myself to not stab someone I loved in the back unlike you and your brother and sister.All of you caused your father so much grief and heartbreak in his life I don't have no idea why he never kicked yall's asses out in the yard!I would have done that,Hell I tried to get him to do that.He loved all of you but all you ever did was betray him,dis-respect him.Don't EVER preach morals to me again Junior!"Beth then tells him to leave or"I'll have you escorted out!"Brock Jr makes another snide remark telling her"Who paid for you to get your job back?A sugar daddy?"Beth slaps him and yells "Get the hell out of my hospital NOW!"Brock Jr walks out as security follows him.Beth watches and grows suspicious.
   Back at the farm,Xavier is furious.He tells Frank"So I see you haven't disposed of the trash!"Frank tells him"Don't speak like that about Claudia."Xavier sarcastically tells Claudia"I'd thought you'd be on the circuit still breaking up homes.Oh that's right Daddy over there owns a team."Frank tells Xavier to knock it off.Xavier tells Frank"I see you still got your whore.You always chose her and racing over your family!Claudia since you work in the press,why don't you print that!And tell them as well his son is really his brother and how much joy that gives me to know I am not involved in this triangle from hell anymore!"Frank tells Xavier"Let's try to work things out son."Xavier tells him"Don't EVER call me son again!"And walks out slamming the door.Frank apologizes to Claudia for Xavier's reaction telling her"He didn't mean it."Claudia tells Frank"He never liked me and now we don't have to worry about him.''She hugs Frank and tells him"You got me now Champ."Frank fakes a smile and they head back to the bedroom.Xavier meanwhile calls Beth and he leaves her a message.
   At the Hospital,Beth's getting comfortable at her desk as there's a knock at the door.She tells them to come in.It's the coroner.She gets upset and tells him"If you're not here for a confession get out!"He tells her"Dr.Jackson,I do have something to tell you about your Father In Law."She tells him to sit down and she texts Xavier,telling him to"Come to the hospital.There's someone here you want to see."Brock Jr meanwhile makes a suspicious call to someone telling them,"I think the coroner's going to squeal.We need an alibi ASAP."
