It's the next day and Ava's at the mansion,preparing to make her announcement about "Class" to the press with her niece Sully,and Eve Santiago.Jack returns home and Ava asks him"Were you with that tramp again?She's trouble,just like Jamie.I won't allow it."Meanwhile Country arrives to the mansion with breakfast from Percy's and he tells Ava and Jack of Winston's Death."Jack is shocked and Ava asks Country"Who killed him?"Country replies"Desi Lane is the main suspect."Ava sits back with an evil smile as Jack asks his mother"Could Winston be faking it?"Ava laughs"It's benefiting me as long as Desi stays in jail.Meanwhile Desi's at home after being released from the ALPD and the press is outside and wanting her statement but she's trying to avoid them and Michael comes downstairs and tells his mother"Stay home and don't do anything until you talk to Bobby.Desi tells Michael"If I killed him,I'd plead guilty because I would have done it.I'm being set up and Chant and Ava are going to pay for this!"Michael assures his mother"You got enough influence and you will beat this."Desi hugs Michael and sighs"I'm not sure though."
At The Sunset Club,Chant is in his room getting dressed to leave.A lady's in the bathroom and Chant tells her"Just like old times."The lady walks out of the bathroom to be Cara Del Mar,Pedro's daughter with Eve Santiago,but also Chant's ex-wife.She tells her ex-husband in a serious tone"Yes it is.And your sex spells have lost their classic touch.What's really going on?"Chant tells her"I want you to represent the family in Desi's murder trial.You owe me anyway."Cara sternly says"I don't owe you anything."Chant tells her"I know your mom's been hiding from the SEC and she's involved with Ava."Cara responds"Ava will be the one you'll have to deal with.She is the widow."Chant tells Cara"They have divorced and I don't like your mother anyway so it wouldn't bother me turning her in."Cara yells to him"I'm in whatever you're scheming Chant,but be up-front with me.Chant tries to give Cara a kiss but she rejects him and tells him coldly"The last thing you want to do is hurt my family.That's the only reason I'm doing this."Chant smiles and says"You could never turn me down beautiful."Cara responds to Chant"You make me sick."
Beth arrives at her suite at The Sunset Club and lets herself in.She yells"It's only me." The woman comes out and sits down and Beth tells the woman with excitement"This will be the best thing to ever happen to Xavier and Sully."The woman responds"Sounds like I missed out.When I seen you at the house with Daniel,my memories become to come back."Beth asks her"Did he do something to you?Do you remember what happened?"The woman responds"I was in the hospital in Paris and woke up and two doctors kept me sedated and Daniel had control over me."Beth asks the woman"Who was the other doctor that helped out Daniel in Paris?"The woman says"Dr.Del Mar was his right hand man and he kept me highly medicated and he left a few years ago when he and Eve divorced."Daniel and I also had a daughter and she reminds me of Sully."Beth tells the woman"I had the feeling when I first seen you at the condo,you were who I thought you are and now that it's official,this will be the best thing that's ever happened for Xavier and Sully."Beth asks the woman"Where's your daughter currently?"The woman tells Beth with a smile"She's an aspiring model,currently in school back in Southpoint Beach."Beth assures the woman with a hug"She'll be welcome with open arms my dear,I assure you of that."The ladies hug and Beth tells the woman"Stay out of sight until it's time."The woman responds"I will Beth."Beth leaves and The woman looks at Xavier and Sully's picture and she grows emotional.
Ava meets with Sully at the headquarters of "Class" and hugs her,telling her niece"Desi's in major trouble and we will be able to take over the retail and fashion world."Sully asks her Aunt"Didn't Winston change his will after you left him?"Ava responds"He never signed the papers and he has no will so it goes to I,his wife and with his money,we're about to make one hell of a powerful statement." Meanwhile,at Ava's mansion, Jack and Country are talking about the death of Winston and Country tells Jack"You're holding up well."Jack confides in Country"He was a evil old man who hurt my mom over the years and he deserved what he got."Country agrees and there's a knock at the door."Jack goes to answer to find Chant.Chant tries to give his "little brother" a hug and offer his condolences and tells Jack"Where's your mother.We need to discuss the estate."Country walks in the main room and sees Chant and tells him"You've got alot of guts to return to town."Chant tells Country"I deserve my family's legacy and I will get it."Jack warns Chant"If my mother sees you,and anything happens to my mom,you'll be joining our "Father".Chant warns Jack"Don't threaten me.It belongs with full-blooded Hales and not my father's bastard step-son."Jack punches Chant and Country orders Chant to leave.On his way out,Chant reminds them"I will get back the business that your mother stole from my family."Chant leaves and Jack is relieved and tells Country"Chant and "Dad" are up to something and he's not going to take a damn thing from my mom."Country assures Jack"There's many people lined up to keep Chant in line."Jack heads out and Country follows to meet up with Xavier.Jack gets a text from Rachel and goes to check on her.
Beth returns to her office at City Hospital and finds Terrance there waiting for her.Terrance asks Beth"Have you seen Pedro this morning?"Beth responds"He didn't come to work?"Terrance tells Beth"He's normally here before me."Beth is puzzled and very suspicious and makes a phone call to Pedro with no response.She tells Chant"I'm headed to his apartment and check on him."She leaves and Terrance gets a text from the ER telling him"Your parents are here."Terrance rushes to the ER.
Desi and Michael are at the house,discussing Rodney's funeral arrangement and Rachel lets herself in and yells at her Mom and Brother,holding up the newspaper,asking them"Is this true?"Both Desi and Michael confirm and Rachel yells at them"And nobody's told me a thing?Why am I not surprised?"Michael pleads with his sister"We don't need any drama right now.Mom could go to jail and she needs our support."Desi tells her daughter sternly"I don't need no problems with you right now."Rachel tells them"Well no worries Mommy dearest,I can take care of myself and my middle name will keep the dollars rolling in."Michael tells his sister to leave and she obliges and tells them both on the way out"Don't expect any sympathy on my account."and she leaves.Once outside she calls Aretha and tells her"I want to give you my side of the story on my father,for the right price."She hangs up the phone and smiles and heads to meet up with Aretha at the Headquarters for her tabloid"The Exposer".
Ava begins to speak to the press at the headquarters for "Class"and begins by telling the press"We've kept this from you guys too long."with a laugh and tells them"Sully Jackson Hale and I along with Eve Santiago and Aretha Evans,has started a hedge fund and Class will be our exclusive Fashion Line at the store I now along with Sully,Eve,and Aretha has majority in ownership,Adam's Landing's very own,Lane's.Sully walks up and stands alongside her aunt as they take questions from the press.Meanwhile Desi receives a call from one of her employees and tells her to turn on the news.Desi turns on the TV and sees Ava's announcement and she's speechless.Michael is shocked as well and they look at each other in disbelief over what they have just heard.
At Pedro's Apartment,he has a visitor,Dr.Daniel Kilgore and Pedro lets him inside and Pedro asks Daniel"What's so urgent?"Daniel tells Pedro"It's Leigh,she's gone and your fiancee knows where she is."Pedro isn't surprised and Beth has been outside the door for a few minutes,listening to Daniel and Pedro and she walks inside and tells Daniel"I am taking care of my daughter in law and all of you will pay for what you've done."In Beth's Suite at The Sunset Club,Leigh is looking at Xavier and Sully's picture and turns and looks outside and sheds a tear thinking of seeing her family again after 19 years and how they will react.

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 67. The Setup
At Hell Hill,Beth has arrived to tell Xavier and Sully something that both Xavier and Sully are curious to know.Xavier asks his mother"How did it go in Southpoint Beach?"Beth tells them her story of her visit to Dr.Kilgore.She tells them"I helped him in exchange for information."Xavier asks Beth"I thought you'd be bringing him back to town?"Beth says to both of them"He'll be back very soon.Trust me."Xavier and Sully are both surprised and Beth tells them"Daniel and I went to college together years ago.I bailed him out of jail and Aaron will be in prison for a long time.But there's something else that you guys need to be ready for."Xavier and Sully both gets suspicious and Xavier asks his Mother"So you bailed him out and helped him regain his identity?What was the exchange?"Beth tells them"I got a few more things to confirm before I say anything."Xavier warns Beth,knowing his mother more than anyone,says"What is it?"Beth tells them"I can't say anymore right now."She gives both of them a hug and rushes out,Xavier and Sully turns and looks at each other and Xavier rolls his eyes and tells his daughter"Something has happened she doesn't want to discuss."Sully responds to her father telling him"I'll be cautious with any Christmas celebration."Xavier tells Sully"You got alot of smarts."
Desi is angered and furious after learning of Rodney's death.She has arrived at Northbrook and walks into Winston's office and she walks in and yells"So you knew.You killed my husband?"She then notices his body laying on the floor and notices he's been shot.She gets nervous and she reaches into her purse and Chant comes through the room and sees his father's body and yells at Desi"Did you kill my father?"Desi is silent and in shock as Chant rushes to Winston's side and starts to cry"He's really gone.You killed him."Meanwhile Chant calls in the servant and asks him"Was Desi Lane my father's last visitor?"The servant says"Yes."Desi looks around and the servant leaves to answer the door and Chant tells Desi"You will pay dearly for this!"The ALPD arrives and asks Desi to empty her purse and she complies and pulls everything out but the investigator notices something and warns Desi to empty everything out.Chant watches on and Desi pulls out her pistol and tells the ALPD"I have a permit to carry this."Chant tells the ALPD"She was the last person to see Winston alive.The servant gives his statement and Desi's arrested."She is read her rights and is carried off as Chant stays behind for a moment alone and he tells Winston in a serious tone"This will work out perfect I believe."The ambulance arrives shortly after and Chant tells them"He's already been taken to the Funeral Home."They leave and Chant calls his pilot and tells him"We're about to go to Adam's Landing."
Willie and Ruth are having dinner together at Chantel's and Willie tells her best friend"Isn't this a bit fancy Ruth?"Ruth tells her"They got a great senior special."Willie warns Ruth"At our age,we only use that line for the deals."Ruth laughs and Ruth tells Willie"Sidney's with Frank so he's ok.You need the time out of the house."Willie confides in Ruth with a sad tone"He's getting worse.He rarely ever has a good day."Ruth holds her hand as Willie gets emotional and tells her"He's got everything he needs and you got us too."Willie smiles at Ruth and at Willie and Sidney's home,Frank and Sidney sits together in the living room and Sidney asks Frank"You still winning races Frank?"Frank responds"As a team owner but I don't drive no more."Sidney sits back and Frank tells Sidney"You should have been a stock car driver yourself.Alot of moonshine runners got famous in stock car racing from their reputations and you were the best."Sidney looks at Frank in daze and confusion and doesn't speak."Sidney Evans was Frank's role model and was his inspiration to be a race car driver.Sidney was one of B.R's best when it cane to running moonshine in the 50s and Frank learned alot from Sidney and a father figure to Frank in some ways,due to his difficult relationship with his own father B.R.Frank knows Sidney has dementia and he walks over and tells Sidney,grabbing him in a warm embrace and tells him"I only wish I could have been more like you."Sidney tells Frank in a somber tone"I miss those days."Frank gives him a hug.Meanwhile at Chantel's,Ruth and Willie reminisce over their long friendship spanning to child-hood.Ruth grew up poor as her family worked for the Jackson family for B.R's parents as well as Willie's family.They laugh and Willie tells Ruth"We always took care of each other."Ruth nods as they continue to reminisce about their history.
Desi has arrived at ALPD and she has been booked and attempts to post bail,pleading her innocence in Winston's murder telling the officer"I did not kill Winston.If I did I would have told you."The officer tells her"You're bail will be set tomorrow morning."Desi tells the officer,growing frustrated"I know how you all work out and I will expose all of you if you follow along with this and show the world how corrupt you are!"The officer gives Desi the phone silently as Desi calls her son Michael.Meanwhile,Chant has arrived in Adam's Landing and settles into a room at The Sunset Club and is on the phone,telling the person on the other side"This may be the smartest move ever."Chant hangs up the phone and walks out,heading to meet Jared to tell him of Winston's death.He tries to evoke some emotion and he makes another phone call walking out telling them"I need to see you tonight."

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 66. Returns
When we last visited our friends in Adam's Landing,there was alot unfolding.Rodney's corpse was found in the river,Beth had went to Southpoint beach to meet with the real Dr.Daniel Kilgore and Desi confronted Winston with his part in Rodney's disappearance.There was alot going on when we left and we now pick up Daylight And Darkness 2 weeks later.

Beth has returned to town and her first stop is to see Pedro.She walks in his apartment and Pedro asks Beth"How did things go with Dr.Kilgore?"Pedro tries to hug Beth but Beth doesn't accept,looking at Pedro with suspicion and Pedro,noticing a difference asks Beth"What's wrong?"Beth asks Pedro"I want to know about your time in Paris.I didn't know that you and Daniel were colleagues."Pedro is puzzled and asks Beth"What is causing the third degree Beth?"Beth tells Pedro"If we're going to be husband and wife,we are going to be open and honest with each other."Pedro asks Beth"What are you so concerned about with my time in Paris?Eve and I was married and she had a fashion house there."Beth sighs and grabs him in a hug and tells him"I don't know what I'm worked up over but Paris is where Xavier's wife was killed years ago."Pedro understands and he and Beth hugs and Pedro heads off to the hospital.Beth tells him"I'll be along later."Pedro leaves and Beth makes a phone call.
Ava's in the Jackson Room at The Sunset Club,meeting up with Sully,Eve,and Aretha and they are discussing strategy for "Class".Ava tells them"We now have what we need to do this.Sully tells them"I already got a fall line designed and ready to be stocked."Eve compliments Sully's work as does Ava and Aretha and Ava ends the meeting telling them"Tomorrow we will make an announcement to the press and I think Desi Lane won't know how to handle all this,but too damn bad!"All the ladies laugh and leaves the room.Ava then heads to her new house in the gated Bannister Hills Country Club.
Desi and Xavier have started to get close and they are together in Xavier's office at Jackson Inc,having a glass of wine.Bobby arrives to visit and tells Xavier"It's official."Xavier perks up and asks"What's official Bobby?"Bobby tells him"Brock Jr,Tommy,and Aaron has arrived at the State Prison in Unity.Xavier pours a glass of wine for Bobby and Desi asks Xavier"How much did this cost you X?"Xavier laughs"It's my Christmas present to the family.Junior will love it there and they'll will be comfortable.Meanwhile concerning Desi's son Michael,he has arrived at the morgue after receiving a phone call earlier in the day.The coroner tells Michael"The autopsy confirms this body to be Rodney Barr."Michael's crushed and wipes the tears from his face.The coroner asks him"Do you want to tell your family yourself?"Michael nods and tells him"It'd be best if it comes from me."He leaves and calls his mother Desi.At Jackson Inc,Desi answers the phone and Michael tells her"I got some bad news Mom."Desi rushes out and Xavier asks"What's wrong?"Desi tells Xavier"I'll see you later."Bobby tells Xavier"They confirmed the body at the morgue to be Rodney's.'Xavier looks up and is silent.Xavier jokes to Bobby"I think I'll need to get in Father's vault for this one."Bobby agrees and they have a drink and discuss strategy,both knowing who was behind it which is Winston and worried about Ava being brought in the middle of the madness to come.
Meanwhile,At Ava's mansion,Jack and Rachel are in his room.They have grown close and they are laying in his bed after having sex.Rachel's phone rings and she sees it's her brother Michael,and she ignores his call.Jack asks her"Who was it?"Rachel sighs in disgust"Michael,probably wanting all of our family to have a nice hypocritical Christmas at Mommy's house while Daddy brings his latest mistress."Jack reminds Rachel"You know Rodney left town.You should get over yourself and try to get close to your family."Rachel laughs it off and jumps on Jack and tells him in a seductive tone"You are all I need to feel better."The passion rises and Ava's arrived back home.She looks around and yells "Jack,you home?"Jack and Rachel doesn't know Ava's arrived nor does Ava know of Jack and Rachel's relationship.Ava looks around for a moment before heading upstairs to Jack's room.
Desi has arrived at the morgue and Michael meets her first and grabs Desi in a hug and Desi asks her son with caution"It's Rodney isn't it?"Michael starts to cry and Desi grabs her son's hand as they walk into the room and Desi sees Rodney's corpse laying on the table and is shocked,she mutters"He's dead.He's dead."Michael grabs her and they hold each other and Desi cries to her son"I can't believe it.I can't believe it."They cry together and Michael vows"Whoever did this will pay!"Desi tells Michael"I know who it was that killed your father."At Northbrook,a servant walks into Winston's office and finds Winston laying on the ground,the servant then makes a phone call and tells the person on the other line"It's time."
Meanwhile at Ava's mansion,Country walks in as he hears Ava screaming upstairs,he rushes upstairs and sees Ava standing at the door to Jack's room,finding Rachel and Jack in bed together.Ava yells at Rachel"You whore!Jack tries to calm down his mother as Ava goes frantic,Country walks up and sees what's going on and is silent with a smirk.Ava slaps Rachel and throws Rachel her clothes and tells her"Get the hell out of my house you whoring tramp and don't come back.Rachel asks"Can I get dressed first?"Ava pushes Rachel out of the room,down the stairs and out of the house,leaving Rachel naked on the porch,locking the door behind her.Upstairs,Country asks Jack"That's who you been seeing?"Jack responds with a sigh"Likely was."Ava yells for Jack to come downstairs and as he gets dressed,Country comes downstairs and grabs Ava in a hug and gives her a kiss and tells her"Don't get worked up over Jack and Rachel.We got other things to look forward to.Your brother's in prison and Aaron is as well."Ava holds onto Country and tells him"At something went right today."

Beth has returned to town and her first stop is to see Pedro.She walks in his apartment and Pedro asks Beth"How did things go with Dr.Kilgore?"Pedro tries to hug Beth but Beth doesn't accept,looking at Pedro with suspicion and Pedro,noticing a difference asks Beth"What's wrong?"Beth asks Pedro"I want to know about your time in Paris.I didn't know that you and Daniel were colleagues."Pedro is puzzled and asks Beth"What is causing the third degree Beth?"Beth tells Pedro"If we're going to be husband and wife,we are going to be open and honest with each other."Pedro asks Beth"What are you so concerned about with my time in Paris?Eve and I was married and she had a fashion house there."Beth sighs and grabs him in a hug and tells him"I don't know what I'm worked up over but Paris is where Xavier's wife was killed years ago."Pedro understands and he and Beth hugs and Pedro heads off to the hospital.Beth tells him"I'll be along later."Pedro leaves and Beth makes a phone call.
Ava's in the Jackson Room at The Sunset Club,meeting up with Sully,Eve,and Aretha and they are discussing strategy for "Class".Ava tells them"We now have what we need to do this.Sully tells them"I already got a fall line designed and ready to be stocked."Eve compliments Sully's work as does Ava and Aretha and Ava ends the meeting telling them"Tomorrow we will make an announcement to the press and I think Desi Lane won't know how to handle all this,but too damn bad!"All the ladies laugh and leaves the room.Ava then heads to her new house in the gated Bannister Hills Country Club.
Desi and Xavier have started to get close and they are together in Xavier's office at Jackson Inc,having a glass of wine.Bobby arrives to visit and tells Xavier"It's official."Xavier perks up and asks"What's official Bobby?"Bobby tells him"Brock Jr,Tommy,and Aaron has arrived at the State Prison in Unity.Xavier pours a glass of wine for Bobby and Desi asks Xavier"How much did this cost you X?"Xavier laughs"It's my Christmas present to the family.Junior will love it there and they'll will be comfortable.Meanwhile concerning Desi's son Michael,he has arrived at the morgue after receiving a phone call earlier in the day.The coroner tells Michael"The autopsy confirms this body to be Rodney Barr."Michael's crushed and wipes the tears from his face.The coroner asks him"Do you want to tell your family yourself?"Michael nods and tells him"It'd be best if it comes from me."He leaves and calls his mother Desi.At Jackson Inc,Desi answers the phone and Michael tells her"I got some bad news Mom."Desi rushes out and Xavier asks"What's wrong?"Desi tells Xavier"I'll see you later."Bobby tells Xavier"They confirmed the body at the morgue to be Rodney's.'Xavier looks up and is silent.Xavier jokes to Bobby"I think I'll need to get in Father's vault for this one."Bobby agrees and they have a drink and discuss strategy,both knowing who was behind it which is Winston and worried about Ava being brought in the middle of the madness to come.
Meanwhile,At Ava's mansion,Jack and Rachel are in his room.They have grown close and they are laying in his bed after having sex.Rachel's phone rings and she sees it's her brother Michael,and she ignores his call.Jack asks her"Who was it?"Rachel sighs in disgust"Michael,probably wanting all of our family to have a nice hypocritical Christmas at Mommy's house while Daddy brings his latest mistress."Jack reminds Rachel"You know Rodney left town.You should get over yourself and try to get close to your family."Rachel laughs it off and jumps on Jack and tells him in a seductive tone"You are all I need to feel better."The passion rises and Ava's arrived back home.She looks around and yells "Jack,you home?"Jack and Rachel doesn't know Ava's arrived nor does Ava know of Jack and Rachel's relationship.Ava looks around for a moment before heading upstairs to Jack's room.
Desi has arrived at the morgue and Michael meets her first and grabs Desi in a hug and Desi asks her son with caution"It's Rodney isn't it?"Michael starts to cry and Desi grabs her son's hand as they walk into the room and Desi sees Rodney's corpse laying on the table and is shocked,she mutters"He's dead.He's dead."Michael grabs her and they hold each other and Desi cries to her son"I can't believe it.I can't believe it."They cry together and Michael vows"Whoever did this will pay!"Desi tells Michael"I know who it was that killed your father."At Northbrook,a servant walks into Winston's office and finds Winston laying on the ground,the servant then makes a phone call and tells the person on the other line"It's time."
Meanwhile at Ava's mansion,Country walks in as he hears Ava screaming upstairs,he rushes upstairs and sees Ava standing at the door to Jack's room,finding Rachel and Jack in bed together.Ava yells at Rachel"You whore!Jack tries to calm down his mother as Ava goes frantic,Country walks up and sees what's going on and is silent with a smirk.Ava slaps Rachel and throws Rachel her clothes and tells her"Get the hell out of my house you whoring tramp and don't come back.Rachel asks"Can I get dressed first?"Ava pushes Rachel out of the room,down the stairs and out of the house,leaving Rachel naked on the porch,locking the door behind her.Upstairs,Country asks Jack"That's who you been seeing?"Jack responds with a sigh"Likely was."Ava yells for Jack to come downstairs and as he gets dressed,Country comes downstairs and grabs Ava in a hug and gives her a kiss and tells her"Don't get worked up over Jack and Rachel.We got other things to look forward to.Your brother's in prison and Aaron is as well."Ava holds onto Country and tells him"At something went right today."

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 65. Playing The Game
Xavier is sitting on a stool beside his late wife Leigh's grave in Blue Ridge.Shortly after seeing Desi earlier at Hell Hill and the two of them having a discussion on each's perspective lives,Xavier has left to visit her grave.He sits there with a bouquet of white roses and bends down in slight pain,laying the roses on her headstone.He tells her somberly"I've returned to thank you."Xavier's silent for the most part,having flashbacks to his time with Leigh.He wipes a tear from his eye and bends down and kisses her headstone and tells her"No matter what I do or where I go my love,you'll always be with me.He then walks away,and heads to the airport to return home to Hell Hill.
At Northbrook,Winston is in his study and the servant informs him"Ms.Lane is here to see you."Winston is shocked and asks Desi in a mocking tone"However did you find me?Rodney didn't come home?"Desi briefly has a flashback to talking to Xavier earlier in the day"(Xavier:If you want to make Winston cave,hold his throne over him.Desi:How do I do that?Xavier gives Desi a faux deed to FoodStar)Desi tells Winston"Rodney never returned to town.I'd think you'd know by the trash Aretha Evans writes that we're getting divorced."Winston pretends to be surprised and replies back"Why would he want to return to a place where everyone wants him dead?"Desi shows Winston a letter she received from "Rodney"and tells Winston"I was married to Rodney for many years and I can say for sure he couldn't write this well."Winston sits back in his chair and laughs,telling Desi"I saved poor Rodney's life."He then shrugs and says"He's better off now."Desi stares at Winston intently and then proposes a deal"If you quit playing games with me Winston,I may just give you something you've been dying for?"Winston perks up and asks"And what might that be Desi?"She then shows him the faux deed to Foodstar"You tell me where Rodney is and I'll give you Foodstar."
In Adam's Landing,Brock Jr,Tommy,and Aaron are in the visitation room and Brock Jr tells them"We may need to be prepared.I don't want what happened to Rodney to happen to us."Beth walks in and coldly tells all of them"You think it's bad with Xavier and Ava,you haven't seen a damn thing yet you useless pieces of gutter-trash.!"She tells the guard outside"I want to talk to Aaron alone!"Brock Jr and Tommy are carried out and then it's Beth and Aaron,sitting across the table from each other.Aaron begins to asks Beth"How did the meeting..."Beth snaps"There was no meeting AARON PITTMAN!"She loses it and tears him a new one yelling"You killed a patient "Dr.Kilgore".This will destroy City Hospital and it will affect everyone Aaron!Everyone!"Aaron is silent and mumbles"It's not my fault Beth."Beth reaches across the table and slaps Aaron and grabs him up out of his chair,pushing him against the wall,telling him in a cold calculated tone of voice"I worked my whole life to get to where I am.I went to college,I earned what I got.I knew you wasn't a doctor to start with because I know Dr.Daniel Kilgore.You conspired with the wrong people against the wrong bitch.And I'd suggest you make yourself at home."Aaron yells"Brock Jr and Jamie paid me to steal his identity to work at the hospital.They wanted me to help them get B.R's estate!"Beth looks at him and sternly tells him"All of you have lost too and if I lose my career over this or any of my staff,You best be making plans for your funeral."Beth walks out and the guard takes Aaron back to his cell.Once Aaron returns to his cell Brock Jr and Tommy laughs about the hand-print on Aaron's face,Aaron doesn't find it funny and tells all of them"If I go down,you will too."
Back at Northbrook.Winston's eyes are wide as Desi shows him the deed to his beloved Foodstar and in a flirting manner tells him"All you have to do is tell me where Rodney is and you get back what's rightfully yours Mr.Hale."Winston is suspicious and asks Desi"How did you get the deed to my company.Did you steal this from Xavier?"Desi smiles and says"X's been very generous since he nearly lost his life."Winston is silent and Desi sticks to the subject,asking once again"Where is Rodney?"She holds the deed and acts like she's about to rip it to shreds.Winston gets scared and begins to cave.He tells Desi,faking sympathy"I hate to tell you this but Rodney's gone."Desi asks him"What do you mean by gone?"Winston sighs and tells Desi"Ava knows the answer."Desi doesn't buy it and tells him sternly"I'll find out Winston and I just hope that my children still has a father or else Ava won't be the only one you'll have to fear.Desi,fuming with anger,shows him the faux deed to Foodstar and rips it apart and tells him"You'll regret this.I promise you that ."Desi storms out and Winston makes a phone call.
Xavier returns to Hell Hill and finds his daughter Sully and Ruth waiting for him.Sully asks her father"Where did you and Desi go?"Xavier hugs Sully and Ruth and tells them"Desi went to seek truth and I went to Blue Ridge to visit Leigh's grave."They are relieved and Xavier asks them"Where's Mother?"Beth's at the airport,telling the pilot"We're going to Southpoint Beach.Beth then says to herself"It's time that these bastards pay for the damage they've done.And they will."Desi's flying back to Adam's Landing and has a flashback to many years ago and has a thought that makes her say to herself"I have a feeling this is not going to be good."Meanwhile a fisherman is fishing out in the river and he makes a catch,he pulls it up to find a dead body and it's the corpse of Rodney Barr.

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 64. Face To Face
At the Adam's Landing Hunting Club, Aaron (Dr. Kilgore), Brock Jr, and Tommy are inside the lodge, greeted by Bobby. Outside the lodge, Country and Ava are outside, awaiting Bobby's text to come inside. Ava asks Country "Why are we at a Hunting Club? I thought we were having breakfast at Percy's?" Country tells her to wait outside until he texts her. Ava's suspicious but excited at the same time. Meanwhile inside, Brock Jr has a bad feeling about things when Bobby asks them to hand over their guns to him.Country walks inside and Brock Jr screams "Damn! Xavier did it again!" Tommy rolls his eyes in anger and Aaron tells them "I've got to get to the hospital for the board meeting. "Country pulls out his rifle and shoots it up and tells them "Nobody's going anywhere." Country motions for Bobby to leave and when Bobby walks out, he whispers to Ava "Game time."
At City Hospital, Beth and Pedro arrives and Terrance meets them in the board room with the look of dread. Beth asks Terrance "My son's back home and alive right?" Terrance sighs and says "I released him this morning. This is serious. All of us could be in serious trouble." Pedro asks "Does this have to do with Dr. Kilgore?" Beth looks on with the same question. Terrance tells them"Last night a patient died." Beth asks calmly "What happened?" Terrance in a serious tone tells them "Dr.Kilgore was on staff when a patient came in with with a common ailment. Dr.Kilgore over-medicated him and he went into cardiac arrest and died. The patient's family is furious and we need to strategize NOW!" Beth yells "Where is Dr. Kilgore?" Terrance reports "I have called him but it's went to voicemail each time. The patient's family has already filed a malpractice suit against the hospital and Dr.Kilgore and it's about to hit the fan." Beth shakes her head, speechless and angry and asks Pedro "You have the thumb-drive?" Pedro nods and hands it to Beth and she tells Pedro and Terrance "I'm going to call to Bobby and cancel the board meeting until we get our plan in motion. All agree and Beth heads to her office to call Bobby while Pedro and Terrance walks into the hall and Terrance tells Pedro in a suspicious tone "Something doesn't add up with Dr. Kilgore." Pedro replies "I agree and Beth does as well." Pedro assures Terrance "Beth has alot of connections in town and this will be settled very soon." Terrance sighs in frustration and says somberly "I won't lose my career over that son of a bitch. I promise you that!
At The Farm, Michael has arrived to talk to Frank and Frank greets him with a handshake and tells Michael "You did a very noble thing doing what you did last night.It took guts." Michael tells Frank in a tone of remorse "I betrayed you when I slept with Claudia and when she confessed, I knew I had to let you know." Frank looks at Michael and tells him "Don't ask me for my forgiveness because that's been taken care of. You have a ride at FJR as long as you want one here Michael." Michael starts to cry and Frank quickly says in a smile "Don't cry on me Michael. I should be the one to do that." He hugs Michael and Michael changes subjects and tells Frank about the situation with his niece Bree and Frank quickly stops him saying "That's between you two. You did a great thing Michael and I will always be grateful to you." The phone rings and Frank answers to find it's Ruth. They speak briefly and then hangs up. Frank once again hugs Michael and tells him once again "I will always hold you in the highest regard and if you ever need anyone I'm here." Frank leaves and Michael follows. On the way out, Michael makes a call to his mother Desi, but gets no response.

Country stands guard with his gun aimed at Brock Jr, Tommy,and Aaron, as Ava says to Brock Jr, Tommy, and Aaron in a cold, snarky tone "I'm not that shocked really. 3 con-artists in a room while one's in Mama's condo on the beach, licking her burns." Brock Jr yells furiously at Ava "You tried to kill Jamie." Ava sternly stops him and snaps harshly "Payback is Ava Jackson in bitch mode Junior. You and Jamie should have been twins." Aaron attempts to explain to Ava "Jamie seduced me." Ava stops Aaron and yells in anger and frustration "My sister was a whore Aaron. That's what whores do! Do you know you have a son Aaron?" Brock Jr yells "Winston is Jack's father!" Ava yells back "He has no father Junior!" Meanwhile, Country gets a text from Bobby and Country texts back "Tell them to come to the Hunting Club." Back to the showdown, Aaron pleads for forgiveness and Ava tells Aaron "I'll never forgive none of you for what you have done to me. Jamie got hers, and you'll get yours Junior, you and that idiot you call a son."
At Hell Hill, Frank's arrived to find Ruth and Sully there and asks "Where is Xavier?" Ruth tells Frank and Sully "Desi came by earlier to see Xavier and when I came downstairs, he was gone. Sully sends her grandmother, Beth a text and Beth responds "I'll handle it later,in a serious situation." Ruth, Frank, and Sully wonders where Xavier has gone. At City Hospital,Beth has called Terrance and Pedro into her office and Beth is sitting at her desk, fuming with anger and disgust and tells them "Dr. Daniel Kilgore is a doctor from Southpoint Beach, he's been treating Jamie. At the Hunting Lodge, The ALPD has arrived and has arrested Brock Jr, Tommy, and Aaron and Ava tells them as they are being carried off "You haven't yet began to see the wrath of Ava." The police carries Aaron, Brock Jr, and Tommy away and in the lodge. Ava grabs Country's hand and tells him with tears flowing from her eyes "I have waited for this for years. I finally feel closure because of you. Country shrugs and humbly says "You needed to know Ava. You deserved it and everything will work out." Ava and Country looks at each other with stars in their eyes and Ava gives in to her feelings and thanks Country,wrapping her arms around him with a kiss and they have fallen for each other.

Back at The Adam's Landing Hunting Club, Ava walks in the lodge and sees her brother, nephew, and Aaron as Brock Jr looks at Aaron and Tommy and warns them "This bitch's crazy as a bat. She needs to be in an institution." Country stands guard with his gun aimed at Brock Jr, Tommy,and Aaron, as Ava says to Brock Jr, Tommy, and Aaron in a cold, snarky tone "I'm not that shocked really. 3 con-artists in a room while one's in Mama's condo on the beach, licking her burns." Brock Jr yells furiously at Ava "You tried to kill Jamie." Ava sternly stops him and snaps harshly "Payback is Ava Jackson in bitch mode Junior. You and Jamie should have been twins." Aaron attempts to explain to Ava "Jamie seduced me." Ava stops Aaron and yells in anger and frustration "My sister was a whore Aaron. That's what whores do! Do you know you have a son Aaron?" Brock Jr yells "Winston is Jack's father!" Ava yells back "He has no father Junior!" Meanwhile, Country gets a text from Bobby and Country texts back "Tell them to come to the Hunting Club." Back to the showdown, Aaron pleads for forgiveness and Ava tells Aaron "I'll never forgive none of you for what you have done to me. Jamie got hers, and you'll get yours Junior, you and that idiot you call a son."
At Hell Hill, Frank's arrived to find Ruth and Sully there and asks "Where is Xavier?" Ruth tells Frank and Sully "Desi came by earlier to see Xavier and when I came downstairs, he was gone. Sully sends her grandmother, Beth a text and Beth responds "I'll handle it later,in a serious situation." Ruth, Frank, and Sully wonders where Xavier has gone. At City Hospital,Beth has called Terrance and Pedro into her office and Beth is sitting at her desk, fuming with anger and disgust and tells them "Dr. Daniel Kilgore is a doctor from Southpoint Beach, he's been treating Jamie. Our Dr. Kilgore is Aaron Pittman and I've just took care of his ass. All of them shakes their heads and wonder's what's to come. At the Hunting Lodge, The ALPD has arrived and has arrested Brock Jr, Tommy, and Aaron and Ava tells them as they are being carried off "You haven't yet began to see the wrath of Ava." The police carries Aaron, Brock Jr, and Tommy away and in the lodge. Ava grabs Country's hand and tells him with tears flowing from her eyes "I have waited for this for years. I finally feel closure because of you. Country shrugs and humbly says "You needed to know Ava. You deserved it and everything will work out." Ava and Country looks at each other with stars in their eyes and Ava gives in to her feelings and thanks Country,wrapping her arms around him with a kiss and they have fallen for each other.

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 63: The Family Bond
It's the next morning in Adam's Landing and Xavier returns home to Hell Hill alone and notices the house is silent.He sits down in front of the TV and watches the news.The newsman reports"Racing Publicist Claudia Stone was found dead last night in a motel room in LaFayette,police reports indicate she committed suicide."Xavier has a evil smile and there's a knock at the door.Xavier gets up to find Frank at the door and Frank tells Xavier"I guess now you know who the shooter was?"Xavier nods and Frank tells him"Michael secretly called me and Ruth and I heard it all.Xavier asks his brother"How are you dealing with this?"Frank shrugs and tells him in a calm manner"She betrayed me and I lost alot because of her.But it's all in the past."Xavier tells Frank"Grandma told me you kicked your addiction.'Frank proudly tells his brother"I hurt like hell but I will make it."Xavier then tells Frank"I have something for you."Xavier walks to the library and comes out with Frank's deeds to FJR and The Farm and tells him"I took control when you were going through your ordeal."Frank is speechless and humbly says"I don't know how to thank you."Xavier tells Frank"Let's grow closer.We lost alot and that can be a way of thanking me."The two of them hug and Xavier asks Frank as he's walking out"Where's Ruth?"Frank tells Xavier"She's out visiting Willie and Sidney.Xavier's glad and Frank leaves and Xavier walks around the house and heads to the library and sits down and is silent.
At The Evans Family Home,Willie and Sidney Evans are the parents to Dr.Terrance Evans and Aretha Evans.Willie and Ruth have been friends from childhood and the Evans and the Jackson families has connections spanning back many years to when Willie was the housekeeper for Ruth and B.R.and all of them,Ruth,B.R.Willie,and Sidney maintained a close friendship over the years.Ruth knocks on the door and Willie answers telling her best friend"Finally got away for awhile?"Ruth and Willie hugs and Ruth says"Xavier's home and he needs his rest and the only reason he's home is because of your son."Willie says proudly"The lord blessed all of us Ruth.It's all because of faith."Ruth agrees and Willie invites Ruth to breakfast and she accepts and joins Willie,Sidney,and Aretha.Ruth makes a statement"It's great to see that you guys still gets together like this with everyone's hectic schedules and all."Aretha tells them"Terrance had to go into the hospital this morning for a major meeting."Aretha starts to speculate and her mother Willie scolds her telling her"I'll have no gossip in my house."Aretha quiets down and they have breakfast and Sidney suddenly gets up from the table telling Willie"Time to go to work.I got to make a run for B.R."Ruth's taken aback and Aretha grabs her father gently and reminds him"Daddy,You don't run liquor anymore."Sidney snaps out of it for a moment and Ruth looks around and Willie looks at her friend.Aretha gets up and gives Her Mom,Dad,and Ruth a hug and Ruth tells Aretha"I am glad you and Ava has re-connected.It's good that she has friends.Aretha smiles and heads to work."Sidney is silent and doesn't acknowledge Ruth and Ruth walks over and asks Sidney"What's bothering you Sidney?"Willie's silent and taps on Ruth's shoulder and motions for her to come into the living room."They head inside and Willie starts to cry.Ruth asks Willie"Does Sidney have.."Willie nods her head and cries when telling Ruth"Some days he's himself and he knows me and the children,but he's getting worse."Ruth hugs her and offers her support."Willie turns down the offer telling Ruth"You have enough going on to worry about.I got Terrance and Aretha and the lord."Ruth grabs Willie and in a loving,firm manner tells her"After everything we've been through over the years Willie,I'm here whether you like it or not."Ruth and Willie hugs and Ruth heads back to check on Xavier.Willie goes into the kitchen and says to her husband"Wasn't it nice of Ruth to drop by and visit this morning?"Sidney doesn't answer and Willie holds him in her arms as she cries telling Sidney"The one thing you will always know and remember is that I love you and I'm never leaving your side."

Back at Hell Hill,Xavier's visiting with Bobby and has been filled in on what's been going on while he's been in the hospital.Xavier tells Bobby"If you and Country needs me today.Let me know."Ruth overhears and walks in and scolds Xavier"You will stay here and rest or else I'll pull out my Texas fly swatter!"Bobby and Xavier laughs and Bobby tells him"Ruth has spoken.I'll keep you posted."Bobby heads out and Ruth asks Xavier"What are you two plotting?"Xavier shrugs his shoulders and tells her"Nothing much,he and Country's going hunting this morning.Ruth looks at Xavier sternly and tells him"I know you too well."Ruth gives Xavier a hug and tells him"I want you to rest and not to worry about the company.Xavier nods and says sarcastically"Yes Grandma."Ruth walks out and heads upstairs and there's a knock at the door.Xavier answers it to find Desi and they embrace in a hug and Desi's on the verge of tears and Xavier laughs"You know better than to think a bullet to the chest would take me out."Desi holds on to him and tells him"I'm just glad you're alive X."

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 62. Confessions
It's later in the evening,Desi is at home and her mind's heavy with concern over her family.She calls her son Michael again but once again gets no answer.She picks up Rodney's letter and reads it again,also in the envelope is the confirmation of Rodney and Desi's divorce,which also adds suspicion to Desi's mind.She once again thinks of Michael and calls Bree to see if he's back home.Bree tells Desi"He hasn't come back here yet.It's over between me and your son."Desi offers her apologies and sympathizes with Bree,knowing what she's going through by experience with Rodney's infidelity over the course of Desi and Rodney's marriage.Desi tells Bree"I'm here for you Bree.Keep in touch."and hangs up the phone.Meanwhile,Michael's in LaFayette,in a motel room,sitting at a table with Claudia discussing their futures.Claudia looks at Michael and tells him"Michael,I have something to tell you."Michael is surprised and asks Claudia"What is it?"Claudia is silent and Michael's confused as to what Claudia is referring to.
At City Hospital,Xavier's been moved into a private room and Sully and Jared are there keeping him company.Terrance stops in to tell Xavier"I've gotten your results from the last scan and maybe.."Xavier looks at Terrance and asks"Maybe I'll be able to get the hell out of this bed and return home?"Terrance looks at Xavier and nods"All of them smiles and Terrance tells Xavier"You get some rest tonight and in the morning,you'll be out of here."Terrance leaves and Sully reminds Xavier"You heard the doctors?R.E.S.T!"Xavier sarcastically asks her"What's rest?"Sully tells her father"Bobby,Ava,and Jared have been keeping things going quite nicely at Jackson Inc.You have no worries."Xavier is relieved and Jared leaves to head to The Penthouse.Sully walks him out and Jared gives his wife a kiss and asks her"Does he know about "Class" yet?"Sully assures her husband"He won't have any problems with this."She rushes Jared off and returns to her father's side and Sully tells her father"I want to tell you something?"Xavier asks"What is it Princess?"Sully smiles and says proudly"Aunt Ava and I are going into the fashion business together."Xavier is stunned and is proud of his daughter.He motions her to the bed and gives her a hug and tells her"This is going to be great for you.He then asks"Are you going to be designing clothes or owning a store?"Sully tells him"I'll fill you in as it develops.I've been working on the designs and Ava's handling the rest."Xavier then asks his daughter"What is it going to be called?"Sully answers"Class"Xavier gives her a thumbs up and tells her"That is a great name and your mother would be proud of you."He then tells his daughter"I want to rest up for my return tomorrow.Go home and rest and take care of yourself."Sully gives her father a hug and she heads home.Xavier then looks at Leigh's picture and tells her with pride"That's our daughter."
Pedro and Beth has dinner at La Trattoria and Beth compliments him once again on what occurred earlier in the day.Beth reaches over and tells Pedro with the look of love showing in her eyes"I got a confession Dr.Del Mar."Pedro flirtingly asks"What do you have to confess to me Dr.Jackson?"Beth smiles and grabs his hand and tells him"I never thought I'd ever find love again,a man that would be there for me and understand me like you do."Pedro smiles and tells Beth"I'm in love with you too Beth.I want to ask you something Beth and if you say no,I'll understand."Beth is suspicious,yet curious and asks Pedro"Ask me Pedro!"Pedro then pulls out a ring and asks Beth"Will you marry me?"Beth starts to cry and is speechless.She looks at the ring and nods her head and tells Pedro"Yes."They then kiss and leaves for Pedro's apartment.Sitting nearby is Eve and she says to herself shaking her head"Someone needs to check those papers."Eve walks out and heads for her room at The Sunset Club.
Back in LaFayette,Michael asks Claudia,noticing a change in her tone and demeanor"What's going on?"Claudia is still hesitant to say anything and walks over to her suitcase and pulls out a gun.Michael asks"Isn't that Frank's pistol?"Claudia is still silent and begins to come un-nerved.She tells Michael in a cold tone"Champ and I were meant to be together.I loved him and there was always things that kept us apart.Ruth never approved nor did B.R.,Also the fact that Beth was married to Frank and although B.R. and Beth had that one night stand,I never understood why Ruth approved her over me."Michael's standing behind Claudia,listening not saying a word as she continues"Frank always loved Xavier like a son but it was apparent Xavier was his father's son and poor Frank went all those years thinking Xavier Jackson was his but anyone in their right mind would have known differently.I hated Xavier."Michael then reaches in his pocket,and dials Frank's number.Frank's at the farm with Ruth and Ruth picks up the phone and listens in and tells her son in a suspicious manner"Come here,You'll want to hear this."Frank walks over and Ruth puts the phone on speaker.Frank asks his mother"Where is Michael calling from?"Ruth answers"LaFayette."They continue to listen in as Claudia,un-alerted that Michael has called Frank,tells Michael"I had enough of that bastard and once he exposed us,I wanted him dead."Back at The Farm,Frank's notified the LaFayette police and Ruth gives Frank a hug and Frank tells his mother"I did Xavier wrong over the years not being there Mama.I am going to do something right by him and I'm going to see to it Claudia pays for this."Back in LaFayette,Claudia turns around and tells Michael calmly"You have yourself a successful career and make things right with Bree."Michael is in shock and walks out of the room and notice the police has arrived.Inside the room,Claudia takes the pistol,looks in the mirror and says"It's over for me.Thank you Xavier."Outside Michael and the police hears a gunshot and when the police comes into the room,they find Claudia,laying on the floor,with a gunshot in the head,committing suicide.

At Adam's Landing International,Ava turns around and sees Rodney laying on the ground,face down,with a gunshot to the head.She is furious beyond words and tells the assistant"Winston is behind this.And Northbrook will be "Northbrook Mall"when I'm done with him."The paramedics carry Rodney's body away and Ava heads to a "meeting".Meanwhile at Northbrook,Winston gets the confirmation of Rodney's death from his servant and makes a phone call,telling the paramedics"Take his body to the river."

Winston and Rodney are scared after after Ava's surprise and Winston suspiciously asks her"Ava you going crazy again?I think it's time you go to an asylum!"Ava answers her soon to be ex-husband question in a cold snark:"I know you bailed someone who wanted what you wanted and we both know what you want is your "Legacy".I know you old man!Winston happily replies to Ava"I was saddened to hear of his survival."Ava aims Xavier's gun at Winston and tells him in a stern whisper"I have more on the agenda than my brother.You hurt my boy Jack.And that's a no in my book."Winston tells Ava in a fearful and scared tone tells her"I wanted Xavier dead.After what he did to me."But I didn't set a bounty.And as for my son,he'll learn and maybe I'll forgive him."Winston then tells Ava"The person that likely tried to kill him is my guest Rodney."Ava's quiet and turns around and aims her gun at Rodney and gives him a smile.

It's the next day and Beth stops in Xavier's room in the ICU at City Hospital and notices he's asleep.She looks at her son silently,not wanting to wake him with tears of joy and Xavier awakens and Beth laughs"Even under sedation,you're still a light sleeper."Xavier asks"Where's my Princess?"Beth tells him"She's back home with Jared."Beth then walks over to Xavier's bedside and grabs Xavier's hand and tells her son with tears of joy"We could have lost you,but knowing my baby,I knew you'd come back to us."Xavier tells Beth in a sarcastic tone"Someone has to keep you out of trouble Mother."Beth looks up with a smile and looks at Xavier and kisses him on the top of his head and sweetly tells him"I love you son.Sully should be here later.Go back to sleep."Beth leaves and Xavier notices a picture sitting on the table next to his bed of Leigh.He looks at it with a smile and a tear and closes his eyes and goes back to sleep.
At FJR,Frank,with his mother Ruth,by his side,walks into the shop and finds Claudia there and he isn't pleased nor is Ruth."Frank coldly tells her"I'll send your belongings to you.Get the hell out of here."Ruth watches on and Claudia tells Frank"I helped you start this team Champ."Frank says to her in disgust"You lost that right the moment you slept with Michael."Ruth interferes and asks"You slept with him?"Before Claudia speaks,Ruth delivers a hard slap to Claudia and scolds her"You knew all to well what my son was going through and you had sex with a man young enough to be your son?"Claudia's silent and Frank points to the door and demands"Hand over that second set of keys you have and don't come back here again."Claudia pleads with Frank "We have something between us Frank.Let's not end like this."Ruth's eyes are red and Frank holds on to his mother and Frank tells Claudia in a somber but certain tone"You destroyed it Claudia.Goodbye."Claudia walks out the door and Frank asks his mother for a moment alone,which she allows and follows Claudia out,Frank walks around the shop and goes through the financial books and sees the shape the team is in due to his addiction and sits at his desk and makes a very hard decision.He makes a phone call to Bobby and tells him"Keep your eyes and ears open.I may be selling FJR."
Desi's at Chantel's,having her coffee before heading into Lane's, and she's reading a tabloid magazine called "The Exposer" and notices on the front cover"The daughter of Desi Lane tells all!"Desi throws the paper across the room and the waiter asks"I take it you seen it?"Desi rolls her eyes and pays the waiter and walks off.She calls Rachel but finds out she's changed her number.She then sees a text from Ruth informing her that Xavier's survived,which brings a moment of happiness to her but her mind's on Rachel and she bumps into Michael and Desi knows of what happened between Michael and Claudia after Michael told her about a few days before as well as Rachel being in town and point blank asks her son"Where's your sister?"Michael tells his mother"She's staying at The Sunset Club."Desi attempts to leave and Michael yells at his Mother"Mom!"Desi in frustration asks Michael"What is it?I need to do damage control!"Michael tells Desi"I found out who posted bail for Dad."Desi gets suspicious and asks"Who was it?"Michael tells his mother"Winston Hale."Desi is in shock and Michael has a look of guilt and Desi is speechless and walks out of Chantel's and Michael has a look of defeat.
Back at City Hospital,Beth's in her office and Terrance comes in and Beth tells him"I don't know how I'll ever thank you for saving my son."Terrance reminds Beth"It's our job Dr.Jackson."Beth compliments Terrance"I taught you well."Terrance then changes the subject and warns Beth"You need to keep your eyes open.Dr.Kilgore's gathering up support to have you ousted from being Chief of Staff."Beth is listening as Terrance explains and asks him"When is the board planning to have the meeting?"Terrance answers"Tomorrow."Beth thanks him for informing her and tells him"I'll settle this."Terrance assures her"Pedro and I's got your back."Beth thanks him and he walks out and Beth leaves her office to return to Xavier in the ICU.Pedro meets up with her on the way to ICU and Beth asks him about what Terrance has told her and Pedro assures Beth"Dr.Kilgore will back off after they find out his secret."Beth asks Pedro"What secret?"In another area of the hospital,Dr.Daniel Kilgore and Tommy are making a transaction.Dr.Kilgore's selling medicine from the hospital to Tommy for his own personal profit and hands Tommy the medicine and Tommy gives Dr.Kilgore a briefcase of cash.Also in the room is a security camera and it's recording every moment.
Frank and Ruth returns to the farm and Ruth cautions her son"Do you think you're ready?"Frank tells his mother"Someone needs to help out and protect my family and I have to save my team."Ruth asks him"Can you stay away from the pills though?It's what brought you to this point?"Frank looks by his chair and sees the bottle of Oxycontin and he and Ruth heads to the bathroom.He takes out the pills and pours them down the toilet and flushes them.Ruth cries tears of joy and gives Frank a huge hug and with pride tells him"I knew you could do it!"Frank looks at his mother and is inspired from her encouragement and tells her"I love you Mama."Ruth hugs him and tells him"I love you too son."
Desi arrives at The Sunset Club and spots her daughter and Rachel in a snarky tone asks"You finally found me!I can see why you always had the hots for Xavier!"Desi looks at her daughter with anger and slaps her out of her bar stool and sneers at her"We've only begun you spoiled brat!"Desi drags Rachel out of The Sunset Club as people are looking on with shock and someone snaps a picture,unknown to Desi or Rachel.
At Northbrook,Winston's guards brings Rodney,who's in shackles and hand-cuffed to the study and Winston informs Rodney of Xavier's survival.All of a sudden Ava busts through the doors and looks at all of them holding her brother's Colt.45 and a cigarette lighter and Winston and Rodney are silent.Ava in a cold and calculated tone tells all of them"You only have 2 choices,I burn your asses on a stake,or I shoot the both of you like you shot my brother?"

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 58. Thanksgiving
It's Thanksgiving and at Hell Hill,Ruth's at the house getting ready to return to the hospital to check on Xavier.She calls the rehab to wish her son Frank,who's over-coming an addiction to the painkiller Oxycontin,due to injuries sustained awhile back in a racing accident.The nurse on the other line tells Ruth"Frank checked out of the rehab center last night."Ruth asks the nurse"What made him check out?"The nurse tells her"I'm not sure Ms.Jackson,but he left in a fury."Ruth hangs up the phone and looks up and prays"God,Please bring peace to everyone in my family.I ask you most of all to let my grandson Xavier live.Amen."
At City Hospital,Beth has stayed all night,asleep in at her desk in her office while Sully went home after reassurance from Beth it was for the best since Sully's pregnant and if anything happened Beth would immediately notify her.Sully walks into the office and asks her grandmother"How's Daddy?"Beth wakes up and tells her"Pedro hasn't gotten back to me so that's a good thing."Sully then asks"Where's Ruth?"Beth answers"I sent her back to the house to rest.She needed to get as much rest as she can."Sully agrees and they head down to the ICU to check on Xavier.
Ava and Jack are at Chantel's and they're discussing Jack and Winston's confrontation.Ava's angered as well as Jack by what happened and Jack asks Ava"What did Father mean by saying it's a charity he adopted me?"Ava sighs and starts to cry.She explains to her son"Jack,remember what I told you years ago about my relationship with Jamie?Jamie was extremely jealous of the attention I got from Mama and Daddy because I was in college and I was my own woman and didn't sell myself to get what I wanted.Jamie always wanted my life and when I married Russell Marx,Jamie was envious beyond words."Jack then asks his mother"And then what happened?"Ava sighs and struggles to speak.Jack encourages her"It's ok Mom."Ava holds her son's hand and tells him"Jamie tried to run me down one night and I almost died.She would have went to prison but Daddy paid off the ALPD and it got forgotten about.Jamie wanted Russell and hired a man to rape me to make it look like I was having an affair on Russell.I barely survived and I lost my mind,divorced Russell,he and Jamie got together,and left town.Mama left Daddy and took care of me and you for many years until I met Winston and then we got married and he adopted you and things were well until,well you know."Jack nods and asks Ava"Do you remember who was the guy that raped you?"Ava tells Jack who it was and he is stunned.Ava tells him"When it comes to life-time security Jack,you'll always be provided for.Bet on it."Jack hugs his mother and they head to the hospital to check on Xavier.
At Frank's farm,Frank returns and hears a noise in the bedroom,he walks in to find Claudia and Michael in bed,naked.He explodes on Claudia and Michael and yells"You whore!How could you do this to me?"Claudia and Michael are speechless and Frank yanks Michael out of the bed and decks him yelling"I thought of you as a son and THIS is how you re-pay me?"Michael attempts to apologize and Frank tells both of them"Get the hell out of my house and out of FJR,and stay the hell out of my life."Both plead for forgiveness but Frank takes a deep breath and calmly and sternly tells them starting with Claudia"I have heard for many years about you and Mama and everyone tried to tell me and I didn't believe them.I lost alot because of you and I'll be damned if I lose anything else because of you!."He turns to Michael and tells him"As of now,you find yourself a new ride because my family is what matters to me and what you've done has hurt my niece and you are truly your father's son."He tells them to leave immediately and they scurry around as Frank watches and they leave."Frank's hurt and betrayed and calls Ruth and is informed about Xavier.After Claudia returns her keys to FJR and the house to Frank and she and Michael leaves the house,Frank calls Ruth,and is informed of what's happened,and heads to the hospital to join the rest of the family to find out about Xavier.

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 57. Hanging In The Balance
At City Hospital,in the OR,Pedro,Dr.Evans,and the staff are preparing for an extremely risky operation to remove the bullet lodged very close to Xavier's heart..Xavier's spirit sees the angel in white.His spirit sees her and Xavier asks"Leigh?"She reaches out her hand and Xavier and Leigh goes up,while Pedro,Dr.Evans,and their staff begins to operate,with full concentration and focus,realizing alot's on the line.
In the waiting room,Beth,Sully,and Ruth are sitting down,they hold vigil and they are quiet.Jared arrives and rushes to his wife's side and Sully grabs him and holds him tight and cries"He can't die.I can't lose my father."Jared does his best to assure her"Xavier Jackson has ice running through his veins Sully.He will make it.He's a fighter and he won't go without a fight."Beth and Ruth also gathers and Beth's attempting to stay strong for her grand-daughter and tells Sully"Your father has survived many things throughout his life sweetie.I have all the confidence that Pedro and Terrance(Dr.Evans) will save him."Beth begins to cry and all of them holds onto each other for comfort.
Desi meanwhile arrives in the waiting room and Sully and Beth turns around and tells Desi with their grief showing and in an unwelcome tone"You're not welcome here!"Desi tells all of them with tears in her eyes"I'm here for all of you.Xavier and I have a bond that's been tested time and time again,but he and I always return to each other."Beth angrily tells Desi"I don't give a damn about what you and my son have.He may die and it could be because of that low life you married years ago.I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't shoot him yourself after your whoring daughter seduced my son!"Desi's shocked and goes"Rachel's in town?"Sully comments in anger"You didn't know your own daughter was in town?Why don't you go be a mother to your kids and leave us the hell alone you selfish bitch!"Jared tells his wife"Sully don't do this.Remember you're pregnant."Beth tells Desi"Go try something new and take care of your family instead of yourself!"Ruth steps in and yells"STOP IT!We all have something in common,and that is that we all love Xavier.Let's drop our qualms with each other for him."Ruth takes Desi aside and calmly tells her"Go home and I'll keep you posted on Xavier."Desi gives Ruth a hug and thanks her and heads back to her home.Ruth returns to the waiting room and sternly tells everyone"Xavier's the main focus here and we need no more fighting.That's why we're here in this waiting room right now!"
Meanwhile,Xavier and Leigh arrives at the gates of heaven.Xavier looks at Leigh with tears and tells his wife"I've dreamed of the day we'd be together again.My heart died the moment Pete Myers took you from me."Leigh looks at her husband with a smile and tells him"I've been waiting for you as well My Love."Xavier's grand-father,J,D(Jim)Sullivan appears and gives his grandson a hug and tells Xavier"I'm proud of you.You've been everything I've ever imagined you to be."Xavier asks Leigh and J.D."If you are here,where's my father?"B.R. then appears and looks at Xavier and in a somber tone tells his son"You have to go back downstairs."Leigh and J.D. both nods and Xavier asks them"Why?"Leigh tells Xavier"Who's going to be there for our Princess?She needs you."B.R. adds"The family needs your leadership.If you stay,the family will fall apart.They need you more."J.D. also adds"Who's going to keep my daughter out of trouble?You are to her what Sully is to you.She can't afford to lose you."Leigh wipes away her tears and she tells Xavier"You do have a choice Xavier."B.R. agrees with Leigh and tells Xavier"Your needed more downstairs than you are here."J.D. brings over a mirror and Leigh holds Xavier's hand and B.R stands behind them as Xavier looks through the mirror to see what's going on down on earth with his family.
Back in the waiting room,Ruth,Beth,Sully,and Jared sits and shares their memories of Xavier.They comfort each other and they know that although there's a chance Xavier could die,their faith and unity pulls them through and they wait for Pedro to come out of the OR with hopefully,good news."Ava returns after visiting with Jack and tells Beth,Sully,and Ruth"I can't promise much but I can promise whoever did this will pay.I'll see to it."Desi's returned to her home and sits in her chair and cries,with her mind and heart heavy and not sure what to do as her family's breaking apart.Michael comes in and has a look of guilt and Desi turns around in a look of shock and is silent.Xavier looks at the gates of heaven,of which if he enters,he'll be with Leigh,J.D.and B.R.Leigh gives Xavier a hug and Xavier cries telling her"I don't want to go.I don't want to leave you.""J.D. and B.R. looks on,and Xavier looks at them in tears,he looks at the clouds,which if he enters,he'll return to earth,to Sully,Beth,and his family.Leigh tells Xavier"I'm always with you,and I'll always be with you no matter what happens."Leigh,B.R.and J.D.looks on in silence as Xavier looks at the gates of heaven and the clouds,and he makes his decision.

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 56. Mortality
The paramedics brings Xavier into the Emergency Room at City Hospital with Pedro waiting for him.Beth sees her son on the stretcher and in a shocked tone building higher and higher,she says"This can't be,This can't be,NOT MY BABY!"Ruth arrives behind them and fills Beth in and Beth screams to Pedro"I'm going in there to save my son!"Pedro insists"Beth you're not in the right frame of mind at this moment.You need to be there for Sully when she finds out."Beth agrees with Pedro and heads out into the waiting room to Find Ava and Country waiting for word on Xavier's condition.Beth,on the verge of tears with Ruth by her side tells them"Xavier's been shot in the chest....I."Ava and Country looks at each other and Beth holds back her tears and tells them"He may not survive.This isn't real,Damnit this isn't real."Ruth consoles Beth and Sully walks in and asks them in shock"Is it true?"Sully sees her Grandmother's expression and Beth grabs her grand-daughter and they console each other,sobbing uncontrollably.Ruth's staying strong and motions Ava away and asks her daughter"Do you think?"Ava answers"Junior did this?I think we have alot of suspects Mama."Country walks over and tells Ava and Ruth"Junior was at The Inn last I seen him so he didn't shoot him."Ava tells them"I have a feeling Winston's behind this.And Winston will pay dearly for this!"

At Jackson Inc,Xavier returns to his office to find Ava waiting for him.He asks Ava"So it looks like you made your decision."Ava smiles and hugs her brother telling him"Winston and I are over.I'm ready to take on the world!"Xavier congratulates Ava and asks Ava"Do you have a lawyer to help you break the bank?Ava smirks"You should already know I've got my bases covered.I'm the daughter of B.R. Jackson and your sister."Xavier sits at his desk and smiles and tells his sister"I love your enthusiasm Ava.How's Jack taking the divorce?"Ava tells Xavier"He knows about what happened with Jamie and Chant and Winston.He supports my decision."Xavier warns Ava"You know how the old geezer works sis,and the fact that Jack isn't his biological son will make him likely to bring up something that Jack really doesn't need to know."Ava agrees but assures Xavier"I trained my Jackson well.He knows how to play the game.He'll be a great leader someday."

Desi arrives at the ALPD to see Rodney and the officer tells her"Ms.Lane,you're not on the list of visitors for Mr.Barr."Desi tells the officer"It's smart that you let me see him,we're still married.A wife can see her husband!"The officer takes a deep breath and briefly panics and leads Desi to the visitation room.Rodney comes in and Desi gets very angry and Rodney tells Desi"Don't worry about me.I should pay for what I've done."Desi asks Rodney"Who's behind this?Is it Xavier?"Rodney is silent and tells Desi"I was jumped by another inmate."Desi doesn't believe Rodney and tells him"I'll find out the truth.And when I do,The ALPD will get what's coming to them."Desi walks out and tells the officer"Who beat up my husband?"The officer tells her"Mr.Barr got into a confrontation with another inmate."Desi sternly tells the officer prove it."He pulls up the security camera but it's blacked-out."Desi is furious and storms out,headed to Jackson Inc.
