Daylight And Darkness: Episode 220. Back Stabbers

   At Jackson Inc, Tenny, Xavier, and Jared sits inside Xavier's office, as they all look at each other, with an eery silence in the room, as they watch the security surveillance video and Xavier throws his hands up as he says with a tone of disappointment in his voice "I can't believe Winston and especially Burt would do this. I just can't believe it." Tenny pulls out her pistol and tells them "I can promise this, both of them will regret this deeply. Those bastards are about to get their up and comings with me." Xavier looks at his Grandmother, and asks her "You are sober? Didn't smoke a joint this morning?" Tenny tells her Grandson "I don't think now's the time to be mellow. Now where are the two bastards at?" Ciarra arrives and tells them "I know where they are. Floyd's at Ava and Winston's. He pulled out, and followed some cars down the driveway. Something's going on there." Xavier looks at Jared, and Tenny asks her Sister "Who's with Winston and Burt?" Ciarra responds "I don't know Tennessee. But I know Floyd's there and he has it in for Corbin." Xavier looks at them and says "I think we're about to head over there." Xavier gets up to leave and stops, and tells them "I think I have a better idea." Xavier picks up the phone and calls Sayyid, who's in The Storm Shelter and asks him "How's my guest?" Sayyid, sitting inside The Storm Shelter, as Wallace angrily glares at him, responds "He's quiet." Xavier tells him "He's going to be our bait." Sayyid tells Xavier, as he looks at Wallace, and loads his AK-47 "Sounds good to me." Xavier hangs up the phone, as Tenny, Jared, Xavier, and Ciarra heads to Whispering Hills. Meanwhile in The Storm Shelter, Wallace asks Sayyid "So did your master tell you to kill me?" Sayyid walks over to Wallace and punches him in the mouth and calmly replies "You are the bargaining chip."
   Meanwhile at Whispering Hills, Floyd stands in front of Winston, Burt, Fancy, and Mona, as Winston asks Floyd "What in the hell are you doing?" Floyd, as he turns the safety off his rifle, with his aim on Burt, tells all of them "My family is going through hell and all of you deserve to pay. And I mean all of you!" Winston tells Floyd "Don't believe the trash Aretha writes Floyd. The Exposer is a tabloid." Floyd looks at Burt, with a cold glare and calmly and boldly tells him "You stabbed Xavier in the back. You hurt Maria, Bree. You are one selfish son of a bitch. And I can't wrap my head around the fact that you and your Daddy would do this." Winston asks Floyd "Do what?" Floyd snaps "My Niece is in jail because you are making damn sure she is kept locked away while you pull this coup on Jackson Inc. And the sad thing is Xavier trusted both of you, and this is how you repay them? And take advantage of Tenny like this? I ought of shot all of your asses." Mona tells Fancy "We need to leave. We got what we need now." Floyd yells "Oh hell no you don't! All of you will stay right here. As Clem says, don't be cowardly." Winston yells "Floyd Jackson, you get the hell out of my house right now!" Floyd aims his rifle at Winston, Burt, Mona, and Fancy, and tells all of them, with anger in his eyes "This house belongs to Ava, and I won't leave here until we take care of business!"
   In Beth's Office at City Hospital, Willie looks at Terrance, as he cries and Beth and Olivia both have a look of dread in their eyes, as Willie speaks louder to her Son "Terrance Clemmon Evans, did you kill your Daddy? Boy you better answer me!" Terrance looks at his Mother with tears in his eyes, as he has a flashback, and cries "Mama he told me that when he couldn't remember anybody, to put him out of his pain." Willie's eyes widen, with anger as she screams "I am so ashamed of you Terrance. How could you? How could you!" Terrance cries "Mama he asked me to do it. I tried and tried to convince him otherwise. I really did, but he told me he didn't want to be a burden on the family and he wanted to kill himself then, but he said he would go to hell if he did. Mama I did what he asked. I didn't want to do it, but he asked me to." Willie cries "He knew me Terrance! He knew me though he couldn't acknowledge me, you, Aretha, or Rashad. He knew we loved him. You took him from me." Terrance cries "Mama! It was what he wanted, and both of you taught me to obey both of you. And I did that." Willie walks up to Terrance and sternly tells her Son "Just because you are a Doctor, doesn't mean you are God! And you had no right to kill your Daddy!" Beth intervenes and tells Willie "It's hard to understand Willie, but Terrance didn't want to do it. He and I talked about it a few weeks after Sidney died and he was riddled with guilt. It still haunts him. Please don't hold it against him." Willie looks at Beth, and then turns to her Son, and tells him "Terrance, I don't support what you did. And I don't think I can forgive you for this." Willie walks out, as she cries, and Terrance screams "Damnit! She will never forgive me now. I did what he asked me to do. I honored his wishes. Am I wrong?" Beth and Olivia holds Terrance, as he cries and Beth tells him "You did what he asked. Maybe in time, she will understand. But give her time. She's got a lot on her plate with Ruth and she's having a hard time." Terrance cries "And I just added to her pain. I hate myself. I just hate myself."
   Meanwhile in Ruth's room, Frank and Bree sits as Mary tells them "I am staying here as long as Ruth needs me. I have stayed away too long." Ruth pleads with her Sister "Go home and be with Miles. Please Mary. I have my family." Mary looks at Ruth, as she starts to cry, and Frank holds his Aunt, as she tells Ruth "I wasn't there when Merlin died, or when Wilburn died a few years ago. I wasn't there because I was out spreading the word of God to people, and I missed moments I can't take back. It's only us now that are left from our family, and Hazel, Janet, and Lynn knows that we have always been close, and they understand that I will not go anywhere as long as you're in this situation. Ruth I am staying here!" Ruth looks at Mary, and tells her "Mary, I always wished I could have had the stability you had. All of your children turned out well, and Miles was such a gentleman." Mary tells Ruth "You have been through so much with your family, and with B.R., and how you held things together, I'll never be able to comprehend. But I really pray that God performs a miracle and saves you. I need you now more than ever. I need my Sister." Bree asks her Great-Aunt "What's wrong with Uncle Miles?" Frank tells his Niece "He has the early stages of Alzheimer's." Bree rolls her eyes and tells Mary "I am so sorry Aunt Mary. Uncle Miles is one of the nicest people I know. I hate it that he has that awful disease. Why does it seem like good people always get the worst?" Mary looks at Ruth, and tells her Nephew and Great-Niece "God challenges us. He tests us and he wouldn't test us unless we could handle it. I pray the Lord takes him quickly, before he gets worse, but that's God's call. I can't be the decider." Ruth looks at her Son, Granddaughter, and Sister, and tells them "I am ready. I have done all I can, but I am tired. I can't fight anymore." Frank tells his Mother "Mama, I know these last few weeks and months has been difficult on you, and all of us, but you are needed. Ava needs you and you need to keep that in mind." Ruth starts to cry and Mary consoles Ruth and says with disdain in her voice "It's just horrible what she has had to endure. Ruth, you have a reason to fight now you fight! Fight for Ava!"
   At the ALPD, Ava sits in the Visitation Room, as Rachel laughs "It's such a pleasure that you are finally paying for the pain you have caused. It fills my heart with joy." Ava coldly tells Rachel "Bitch, you have no heart, and you be damn lucky I'm locked up." Rachel quips "Oh I am. I am ecstatic! And to think Winston is keeping you here just makes things more gratifying." Ava snarls "Rachel Lane, you deserve to die. You deserve a bullet between your eyes. The hurt and pain you have caused me and my family, I am just disgusted to know that you breathe." Rachel laughs "I hope you adjust to your new home. I'll make sure to write. Jack must be smiling, knowing you are finally behind bars." Ava angrily shrieks "Bitch get the hell out of here! I will kill you and that's a damn promise I intend to keep! Don't ever mention Jack to me again!" Rachel snaps "You were a horrible Mother and kept him from me. He was the only man I loved, but you never approved. You proably killed him also. You had no trouble killing Jamie.." Ava yells for the jailer, and tells him "Take me back to my cell!" Ava walks out, and Rachel struts out with a smile on her face, as she says "Ava, you never looked better than you look now. Karma's a bitch isn't it."
  At FJR, Rashad and Little Sidney walks around the shop, as Cale and Allison walks inside and The Team Director asks Cale and Allison "How's Frank?" Cale tells him, as Allison gushes over Rashad's Son "He's having a hard time with Grandma's diagnosis. But he's staying strong. We are trying our hardest." The Team Director tells them "Frank called me last night and said he would be taking a leave of absence from the team. So you are now in control." Cale looks at him, and says "We are close to wrapping up the season now. You run the team, and I will focus on the driving part. I think we are all extra motivated now that Grandma may not have long left." Rashad looks at Cale and tells him "Don't stop praying Cale. Look at my Grandma, she had a stroke that should have killed her, but she survived and it was a miracle. Ruth is one of the sweetest people I know. She has a long life ahead of her. We both know that." Cale looks at Rashad, and tells him "I really want to believe that, but I don't want to get my hopes up." Rashad hugs his Friend, and tells Cale "I understand. But keep praying." Allison meanwhile plays with Little Sidney, and tells Rashad "I think he will be driving for FJR one day." Rashad laughs, as he tells her "Grandma said the same thing. He already loves the sound of these cars and hums all the time." Cale and Allison looks at each other, as Allison holds Little Sidney, and tells Cale "I think we should try." Cale asks "Try what?" Allison tells her Husband "I think I'm ready to have a baby."
   Meanwhile at The Exposer, Aretha sits in her office, as she has a glass of wine and checks the hits on her cover story, as Sassy walks inside and yells "You really went and did it?" Sassy slaps the glass out of Aretha's hand and Aretha asks "Did the truth hurt Nurse...oops Former Nurse Sassy?" Sassy grabs Aretha and yells "I have lost Rashad and my Grandson now, and I lost Latoya when she went to L.A. and forgot where she came from. I was protecting your Son and Grandson!" Aretha pushes Sassy off of her and shrieks "By having sex with the bastard that was trying to kill you? I could have taken care of him easily. And I fully intend to do that. Clem knows he's in town." Sassy yells "I demand you write a formal apology! I was protecting my family!" Aretha gets up and forcefully slaps Sassy, and yells "Rashad isn't a part of your damn family Sassy! And neither is Little Sidney! The last name is Evans! You are a two bit whore, just like your Daughter!" Sassy shakes her head, as she has had enough and punches Aretha, and Aretha strikes back, as a fight breaks out in Aretha's office, as both women has reached their breaking point and a brawl breaks out.
   At the park in Downtown Adam's Landing, Rose walks Precious, as Desi walks up and yells "Rose McClain?" Rose turns around, as Precious growls and snarls and Desi asks Rose "Are you dog-sitting these days?" Rose looks at Desi and asks her "What in the hell do you want?" Desi looks at Rose, and looks up and sighs "I got a proposal for you and you would make far more money, than babysitting that mutt for Tenny Sullivan." Rose looks at Desi and asks "Is this about your beloved Lane's, now Class? Need somebody to steal the deed for you?" Desi laughs and smiles at Rose, and says in a deceiving tone "You were always such a great friend to Rachel. Always there for her and all. She has nothing to fall back on since Xavier Jackson stole my Lane's from me." Rose looks at Desi and snarls "Screw off Desi! I am not getting killed for you!" Desi shakes her head and asks Rose "Rachel would appreciate it?" Rose snaps "Rachel hates you! And Tenny would never forgive me if I were to try that. I have met Xavier Jackson and I don't want to get on his bad side. I have seen how protective he is of Sully. I am not ready to die yet." Desi looks down and shakes her head and says "Too bad. And to think, I could make you very rich." Rose tells Precious "Let's go back home." Desi asks "Are you living with Tenny?" Rose ignores Desi and walks away, as Precious growls and snarls and Rose tells him "I know, she is a real bitch! Bitch wasn't even there for Rachel when she needed her." Desi sits in the park, and is quiet and says to herself "I think I know my plan."
   At Class, Leigh sits in Sully's office, as Sully goes to pick up lunch from a new Mexican Restaurant in Adam's Landing, called La Sante Fe. Leigh calls her Husband, and it goes to voice mail, and Leigh says to herself "I sure hope X is handling things well." Back in the park, Tyrone walks up to Desi, as he looks at Desi and asks "What's a beautiful young woman like you doing by yourself?" Desi sighs "I'm trying to figure out how to get back my family company. I need to find someone to help me do that." Tyrone asks "What do you need?" Sully walks out of La Sante Fe, and Desi points at Sully, and tells Tyrone "That spoiled bitch has the deed to my company. I want to get her and Leigh Jackson out of the way, and get my deed back." Tyrone looks at Desi and smiles, and tells her "I will do it for the right price." Desi pulls out her checkbook and writes Tyrone a check and tells him "Get Sully out of the way, and that will keep her family distracted. Then we'll go from there." Tyrone smiles, as he follows Sully." Back at Class, Leigh makes a phone call to Sully, and her phone goes to voicemail, and Leigh begins to worry about her Daughter. Back in the park, Sully begins to get inside her car, as Tyrone grabs her from behind, and sticks a pistol to her head and covers her mouth, as he tells her "Time for you to disappear." Desi watches on, as she says to herself "Sorry. No standing in my way Sully."
   At City Hospital, Beth and Olivia walks inside Ruth's room, as Frank, Bree, Mary, and Bobby are there and Olivia tells Ruth "I see you have visitors." Ruth nods and Beth tells Ruth "We need to discuss what you want to do. How do you want to handle this?" Ruth looks at her family, and tells Beth and Olivia "I don't like chemo, and I don't want to do it again. But Ava needs me, as does my family, so I will fight with all I have to beat this." Olivia tells Ruth "I plan to do some scans today and we're going to evaluate your chances. Then we will know for sure your chances." Frank, Bree, and Mary all look at Ruth and tell her "We are all here for you." Beth tells Ruth "After these tests are run, I will let you go home. But you will have to take it easy." Ruth laughs "It's never been easy. But Ava needs me, and I will be there for her." Beth heads outside, as Olivia explains the situation to Ruth, Mary, Frank, and Bree, and Bobby follows Beth out into the hall, and asks Beth "You seem to be putting up a good front." Beth tells Bobby "I am trying Bobby, but it's so hard, knowing she won't make it much longer." Bobby grabs Beth's hand, and tells her "Beth, I'm doing all I can to get Ava released and I will keep trying." Beth and Bobby looks at each other, and Beth tells Bobby "Thank you so much for being here for all of us. It means the world to me." Bobby touches Beth's face, and tells her "Beth, stop thanking me. It's my job." Beth looks at Bobby, as he strokes her hair, and Beth looks into his eyes, and they kiss, and back away from each other, as Beth tells him "Does it seem weird to you that I am falling for you?" Bobby gently tells Beth "We have been getting very close Beth. I feel the same way." Beth holds onto Bobby, as they kiss each other and they have begun to fall for each other.
   In Terrance's office at City Hospital, Terrance looks at a photo of his Father, and says with tears in his eyes "Daddy, I have hurt Mama and I feel so horrible. I hope she can find it in her heart to forgive me." Meanwhile at the City Cemetery, Willie sits at Sidney's grave and cries, and a hand touches Willie's shoulder, and Willie turns around, as she sees Sidney's spirit and Willie looks at him and asks "Did you really ask Terrance to put you out love? I am so heartbroken knowing what he did, that I don't think I can look at him the same way again." Sidney tells his Wife "Willie, I did ask Terrance to do that. He didn't want to, but I told him that when I got to where I didn't remember who you were, or the family, to set me free. Don't hold a grudge against him Willie. Please don't and don't tell Aretha or Rashad." Willie tells her Husband "I am having a hard time accepting this Sidney." Sidney tells his Wife "Terrance did what I asked of him, and please make peace with him. And be with Ruth. Spend as much time as possible with her." Willie watches, as Sidney's spirit disappears, and Willie feels a calm come over her, as she starts to cry and says "Terrance only did what was asked. I hope he forgives me."
   At Jackson Inc, Allan and Nathan arrives to speak to Xavier, and notices that it's empty and Nathan asks his Father "Why do I feel like there's about to be a shootout?" Allan looks at his Son and tells him "Nobody's here, and I can only think of one place Xavier and Mama could be." At Whispering Hills, Floyd stands in front of Winston, Burt, Fancy, and Mona, as Floyd moves his aim between the four of them and tells them "All of you are some sorry ass excuses for human beings. Winston you are keeping Ava away from her Mama when she needs her Daughter more than ever. Corbin, I have hated you for years, so I have no problems killing you. As for you Carla and what's your name..Mona? Whatever, all of you are causing my family pain and grief and it stops now!" The door kicks open, as Xavier walks inside, along with Tenny, Ciarra, and Jared, all with the look of anger in their eyes, as Xavier looks at all of them and says "Winston, you low life piece of shit, you have made the worst move of your life." Winston is silent, as Fancy and Mona yells at Xavier "Wallace's belongs to the Mannings! Not you!" Floyd keeps his rifle aimed, as Tenny looks at Fancy and Mona and Ciarra walks over to Floyd and tells him "Don't do something you will regret my love." Xavier walks up to Burt and punches him in the face and yells "Burt Corbin, I never thought I would see the day you would stab me in the back. I saved your ass many times and this is the thanks I get? Well, now you will pay for this with your life and so will you Winston. And so will the both of you Fancy and Mona. Or we can deal. Either give me those stocks and deed to Wallace's back to my Grandmother, or Wallace dies." Fancy yells "Let Wallace die, I have what I want." Xavier points to Jared and says "You heard her. Call Sayyid." In The Storm Shelter, Sayyid hangs up the phone, and picks up his AK-47 and tells Wallace "Money is evil. So evil Mothers sacrifice their Sons." Sayyid aims at Wallace. At Whispering Hills, Fancy yells "Wallace's belongs to my family! So screw off Xavier!" Mona walks over to Burt, and she holds onto him, and Floyd and Xavier asks Burt "Don't tell me the two of you are sleeping together?" Burt tells Xavier "I will do what I want and I have a better job working for Fancy Manning than I ever did with you." Floyd's finger is on the trigger, Xavier pulls out his Colt 45, and aims, with the safety off, as Tenny pulls out her pistol and her finger is on the trigger and three shots are fired...

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 219. Busts And Smoke Screens

   It's the next morning in Adam's Landing, and at City Hospital, Ruth wakes up, as she sees Beth in the chair asleep, and Xavier and Leigh and tells them "Beth goes over and beyond." Xavier asks Ruth "How do you feel this morning?" Ruth tells Xavier "I can't answer that Xavier. I am ready to go home." Leigh tells Ruth "I hope you mean Hell Hill when you say that. There's two babies that miss their Great-Grandma." Ruth looks at Xavier and Leigh and tells them "I know my time is short, and I have accepted it. But I want my family together before I'm gone." Xavier tells Ruth, holding her hand "Grandma I am going to see to it Ava is released from jail and soon. I'm taking care of that today." Ruth pats Xavier's hand and tells him "Good. Do what you have to do to make that happen." Xavier promises "I will do that. Don't worry about a thing. Just do something you never do and take care of you." Ruth tells Xavier "I will try." Ruth changes subjects, and asks Xavier and Leigh "Who's watching Gracie and Xavier Jr this morning?" At Hell Hill, Country sits in the nursery, as he's reading a hunting magazine and Gracie and Xavier Jr sits on his lap as Country tells them "When the two of you are old enough, we're going hunting, and fishing." Gracie starts to cry, and Country puts Xavier Jr in his crib, as he prepares to change Gracie's diaper and says to her "Uncle Country isn't good at this."
    At The Evans Home, Willie sits in the living room with Little Sidney, as Rashad brings his Grandmother some coffee and asks "Where's Uncle Clem and everyone else?" Willie tells her Grandson "Clem was called earlier to go babysit for Xavier's guest and your Mama's at The Exposer." Rashad asks his Grandmother "How are you feeling today?" Willie holds Rashad's hand and tells him "I've been much better Rashad. It's just hard to imagine life without Ruth. I'm going to see her later. Terrance is headed down to the hospital and someone should be here at any moment." Rashad asks "Who's coming over?" There's a knock at the door, as Willie and Little Sidney walks up to answer, and Willie tells the older woman "It's been many years." Mary L. Caswell, Ruth's Oldest Sister, walks inside and looks at Little Sidney and tells Willie "He's so precious, and is that young man Rashad?" Willie smiles and says "It is. He was just a baby when you and Miles left Adam's Landing." Mary sits down and tells Willie "Miles and I have been all over the world doing missionary work and I went by the old home place.." Rashad asks "Hell Hill you mean Mrs. Caswell?" Mary responds "I prefer The Jackson Estate over the other name." Rashad tells his Grandmother "I think I'm taking Little Sidney with me today and show him FJR. We're going to have some fun." Willie laughs "He already started humming like those stock cars." Mary laughs "I think we have another racer in the making." Willie smiles, as Rashad and Little Sidney leaves, and Mary asks Willie "So is it true about Ruth?" Willie starts to cry, as she tells Mary "She is dying. I haven't accepted it yet." Mary hugs Willie and tells her softly "My baby Sister is a fighter. After all she's faced over the years, God will protect her. We have to trust in him Willie." Willie takes a deep breath and says "I do Mary. All I've done is pray and pray." Mary tells Willie "I've done the same thing since Franklin called me." Willie asks Mary "Where's Miles?" Mary looks at Willie and tells her "He isn't well. He's started to slip." Willie looks at Mary and asks "Is it Alzheimer's?" Mary is silent, as she responds "Yes. I told Hazel to watch after him while I came to town." Willie asks Mary "Are you ready to visit Ruth? She could really use you right now." Mary tells Willie "As long as you hold my hand." Mary and Willie heads out, as they go to City Hospital to visit Ruth.
   Meanwhile at the ALPD, Bobby arrives, as Cass sits in his office and Bobby walks inside with anger in his eyes as he asks Cass "I want you to explain this text I received from Xavier?" Cass looks at Bobby and tells his boss "Desi Lane and Mona Woods told me they were getting divorced." Bobby takes a deep breath, as he sternly tells Cass "You fell for it and I hope you know that you could get killed?" Cass reminds Bobby "Doesn't Xavier know I'm working here for you?" Bobby answers "I ask that same question. Ava needs to be released ASAP! And I want her released today!" Cass tells Bobby "I can't do that Bobby. Russell has made it loud and clear not to release her." Bobby gets into Cass' face and tells him "Russell Marx can kiss my ass! And you quit being weak. You're the District Attorney, and you need to stop following Leigh and believing Desi and Mona. They are trouble Cass, and if Ava isn't released, then I will send your ass back to McCain! Cass tells Bobby "Winston is paying Russell to keep Ava in lock up. Here's the proof." Bobby looks over the checks and he is speechless, as he tells Cass "I know money talks, here's a check. I will personally double Winston's donations." Cass asks Bobby "You're not that wealthy Bobby?" Bobby tells Cass "Xavier is, and so is his family. With what's going on, Ava needs to be released. Ruth is dying and doesn't have much time left." Cass sits back, as he remembers his Mother, and tells Bobby "I was at a convention years ago when my Mother died." Bobby looks at Cass and reminds him "And you have never gotten over it either. Just think of that when you get orders from Marx to keep Ava behind bars." Cass tells Bobby "I'll try my best to release her, but I can't make promises." Bobby tells Cass, as he heads to the Visitation Room "Trying is better than nothing. And that check will quadruple anything Winston can offer." Bobby walks out and Cass says to himself "What in the hell am I doing?" Cass calls Russell and leaves him a message, telling him "Since I'm District Attorney, I'm dropping the charges against Ava Jackson."
   At Chantel's, Tenny arrives as Nathan and Allan sits at the table and Nathan asks his Grandmother "I was scared after last night. Xavier was pissed." Allan tells his Son "Xavier is fiercely protective of Sully. Next time we do something like that, it will be at my home." Tenny is quiet and Allan asks his Mother "Mama are you alright? You aren't yourself." Tenny looks at Allan and Nathan and tells them "When all of you left, Xavier told me something that's really bothering me." Allan and Nathan both asks "What did he tell you?" Tenny says to them "Winston Hale and Burt Corbin are stealing Wallace's out from under me and Xavier. The shit's about to hit the fan at Jackson Inc today." Tenny pulls out her pistol and Nathan tells his Grandmother "I'm heading down there soon to visit Xavier to discuss that Warehouse in Downtown. I plan to make it my office and recording complex. I'm also planning to live there too." Tenny tells Nathan "Don't do that Nathan, if you want, stay with me. I am lonely." Allan tells his Son "I think that might be a good idea. Mama doesn't like to be by herself." Nathan asks Tenny "Isn't that girl Rose staying with you?" Tenny responds in a distant tone "She is isn't she?" Allan rolls his eyes as he asks his Mother "Are you about to play matchmaker?" Tenny laughs "I may." Nathan tells them "Rose stayed with Andre and I last night at my suite. I don't think Rose is into men." Tenny is quiet, as she checks her tablet, and reads The Exposer and takes a deep breath and sighs "Bastards." Nathan and Allan looks at Tenny, and asks "What is it?" Tenny tells them "I have to go. Here's a check. Breakfast is on me." Tenny rushes out and Allan looks at his Son, as Tenny leaves her tablet behind, and sees the cover story, and Nathan asks his Father "Should I even attempt to visit Xavier?" Allan tells his Son "I think we need to smoke first before heading to Jackson Inc. If you noticed, Mama was sober this morning..." Nathan looks at his Father and asks "What does that mean?" Allan takes a deep breath and responds "She's about to snap."
   Meanwhile at The Sunset Club, Fancy sits at the bar, as Mona and Desi arrives and Fancy asks Mona "Why in the hell did you bring Desi with you? This was supposed to be private!" Desi tells Fancy "I know all about what the two of you are up to and I want in as well." Mona assures Fancy "She would be a tremendous asset." Fancy takes a drink, and sighs "You're the one with the family money so I guess you get your say. Have you heard from Wallace?" Mona looks at Fancy and tells her "No I haven't. I think he skipped town." Fancy tells Mona and Desi "He's locked up in that dungeon at Hell Hill. My poor little poor boy. Well he is worthless now so I could care less." Desi is appalled and asks Fancy "You don't care about Wallace being locked up in The Storm Shelter?" Fancy laughs "He's broke thanks to Mona, and now I am devoted to Mona." Mona sighs and says "I really don't care what happens with him. Wally left town after it was revealed Frank was really Wallace's Father and I don't know if he'll ever come back." Fancy tells Mona "Once we finalize everything today, then he can come back and we can get him back into racing again." Mona rolls her eyes and tells Fancy "It's up to Wally. I won't force him to do nothing he wants to do." Meanwhile Desi looks towards the elevator, as Rachel heads out and yells "Rachel!" Fancy and Mona look on, as Desi runs to her Daughter, and Desi tries to hug Rachel, and she turns her Mother away, and snaps "Too late for the Mommy act. Get lost!" Rachel storms out, as Desi has a look of sadness in her eyes.
   At Floyd's Home at Whispering Hills, Ciarra sits in the kitchen, as breakfast is finished, and Sully's there, as Floyd walks inside and Sully hugs her Great-Uncle and asks him "How are you coping?" Floyd tells Sully "The best way I can. It's very hard to accept that Ruth won't be with us much longer." Ciarra tells them "Let's just try to stay positive and hope for the best. I just hope Ava finds out about Ruth." Sully tells her Great-Aunt,and Great-Uncle "I can't believe Winston and Burt are stabbing Daddy and our family in the back like this." Ciarra and Floyd looks at Sully and asks "What are you talking about?" Sully pulls out her tablet, and shows them the cover story in The Exposer, and Floyd yells "Corbin. That son of a bitch just proved his worth." Ciarra starts to cry, as she tells them "Tennessee will not take this well." Sully tells them "Gran's in her own orbit it seems. Daddy went over to The Penthouse last night and broke up Gran's smoke fest. She's really went off the deep end." Ciarra tells Sully "Maybe now this will reel her in some. At least I hope it does." Floyd tells Ciarra and Sully "I just remembered I have something to do." Floyd heads into the bedroom, and grabs his rifle and comes out and Ciarra and Sully asks him "Where are you going?" Floyd tells them "I am going to pay Corbin a visit this morning. That bastard's done pushed the wrong button." Floyd heads out, and Ciarra looks at Sully, as she tells her "I think it's best you steer clear from Jackson Inc. It's about to get bad down there." Sully finishes her breakfast, and tells her Great-Aunt "I'm going to visit Grandma and check on her, and spend some time with Grandma Ruth." Ciarra tells Sully "I think I will come with you." Ciarra and Sully heads to City Hospital, as Floyd heads down the road and says to himself "Corbin, you have really screwed yourself now."
    Meanwhile at City Hospital, Beth has awaken and Ruth looks over and tells her "Xavier and Leigh just stopped by to visit." Beth tells Ruth "That's good. Floyd's going to install an elevator at Hell Hill for you. Xavier spoke to Floyd about it and he's going to make sure you are as comfortable as possible." Willie arrives, and tells Ruth "Someone's here to see you." Ruth asks "Who?" Mary walks inside and Ruth sees her Sister for the first time in many years and Mary tells Ruth "This isn't the Ruth Love I know." Ruth looks at Mary and tells her "I am dying Mary. You will soon be the last one of our family.." Beth hugs Mary and tells her "I am surprised you are here." Mary looks at Beth, and tells her "Once Franklin called me last night, I caught the first flight to Adam's Landing." Ruth asks Mary "Where's Miles?" Mary sits next to her Sister and tells her "He's back home in Unity. He isn't well." Ruth asks Mary "What's wrong with him?" Mary tells Ruth "I'm more worried about you right now. I have heard you want to just give up?" Ruth glares at Willie, and Willie tells Ruth "She came by the house and I filled her in." Ruth looks at Mary and tells her "I know my time is short Mary. I only have a short time left." Mary reminds Ruth "Only the Lord knows when it's your time Ruth. I am so sorry I've not kept in touch as I should have." Ruth looks at her Sister, and tells her "I understand Mary. You have done wonderful things since you retired from teaching, and you are one of the sweetest people I know." Mary looks at Ruth, and tells her "Sometimes, you forget about the important things, like family, when you're out on the mission field. Miles and I have been to every continent, and helped so many people. Now I am here to help you." Beth tells Willie, as Mary and Ruth catches up "I'm going to my office for a few minutes." Willie hugs Beth, as she heads off, as Ruth asks Mary "So why isn't Miles with you?" Mary takes a deep breath and tells her Sister "Miles has the early stages of Alzheimer's. He knows me and the kids, but his short term memory is gone." Willie looks at Mary, and tells her "Alzheimer's was what killed my Sidney. He faded relatively quick. It's horrible." Mary looks at Willie and tells her "I don't know what I'm going to do with Miles yet. My kids think he should be in a nursing home, but I won't let that happen." Ruth looks at Mary and tells her Sister "He needs you more than I do Mary. You go home and be with him. I have my family." Mary looks at Ruth and tells her "Ruth, I am staying right here. And there's nothing you can do, to talk me out of it." Ruth looks at her Sister, and starts to cry, as Mary holds Ruth, as Willie keeps her composure, and tells Mary and Ruth "I am going to visit Terrance and let the two of you have some time to yourselves." Willie heads out, as Mary and Ruth catches up.
   Back at the ALPD, Bobby walks inside the Visitation Room, as Ava asks Bobby, holding The Exposer "What in the hell is this?" Bobby looks at Ava and pulls out his phone and shows her Aretha's story from online, and Ava screams "Winston best wish I don't get out of here, because I am going to make it my mission to see he regrets this!" Bobby looks at Ava and tells her "Ava, I need to tell you something and you need to brace yourself." Ava looks at Bobby and tells him "I don't like that look. Is it about Mama?" Bobby tells Ava "Ruth is in City Hospital, and she has lung cancer. It's terminal and she has a short time left." Ava trembles, as she asks Bobby "I hope this is a nightmare. Please tell me this isn't real?" Bobby takes a deep breath and tells her "I wish I was lying Ava, but yesterday Ruth had an accident and Beth ran some tests and the cancer's spreading." Ava yells "I need to be with my Mama!" Bobby agrees and adds "You would be with her if Winston wasn't paying Russell to keep you behind bars." Ava tells Bobby "Aretha has kept me informed through The Exposer and all I can say is Winston and Burt best enjoy this, because when I am out of here, they will pay!" Meanwhile, in Cass' office, Russell arrives with Rachel and Cass tells Russell "I'm dropping the charges on Ava." Russell yells at Cass, as Rachel has a look of panic "She is staying in this jail and going to prison Cass! Do you understand that? Do you understand that!" Cass yells back "Her Mother is on her deathbed Russell. She needs to be with her Mother." Russell yells "Ruth or anyone in that twisted bunch has ever gave a damn about my Daughter, so sorry Cass, just because Ruth isn't well, gives Ava a free pass." Rachel smiles, as Cass yells at Russell "You just remember one thing Russell, if something happens to Ruth Jackson, you will be on the top of the hit list." Cass storms out and Rachel looks at Russell and tells him with a glowing smile "I am ready to make my statement. By the way, could I visit Ava? She has caused me so much pain?" Russell tells Rachel "Once Bobby is finished, you sure can." Back in the Visitation Room, Ava hands a letter to Bobby and tells him "Please give this to Mama for me." Bobby hugs Ava and tells her "I will do that." Bobby leaves, and Ava tells the jailer "Take me back to my cell." The jailer tells Ava "Somebody else wants to see you." Ava asks "Who?" Russell walks inside and tells Ava "I'm allowing visitors." Rachel walks inside and tells Ava, with a smile on her face "Words cannot express the joy I get seeing you in a orange suit and handcuffed."
   At Jackson Inc, Xavier arrives, as Tenny sits in his office and Jared walks inside and Tenny tells Xavier and Jared "Winston and Burt aren't here. Neither are my stocks and deed." At Whispering Hills, Fancy and Mona arrives, as Winston and Burt sits inside and tells them "We just finished the deal. Wallace's now belongs to you." Inside the estate, Floyd stands in the closet, as he holds his rifle and listens silently, as he slowly turns the doorknob, and walks out and tells Winston, Burt, Fancy, and Mona, as he aims his rifle at Burt "You have truly messed up now Corbin, and you're about to pay for it. All of you are about to pay for it!" At Class, Leigh and Sully sits inside Sully's office, as Sully tells her Mother "I think everything is ready for the fashion show." Leigh smiles as she looks over Sully's designs and asks "Weren't you going to visit Ruth this morning?" Sully tells her "I noticed she had some company and I just came here instead." At Allan and Olivia's home, Allan and Nathan smokes a blunt as Allan tells his Son "Are you ready to go talk to Xavier?" Nathan tells his Father "With what we heard earlier, I am a bit nervous." Allan assures his Son "I don't think you have anything to worry about." At City Hospital, Ruth and Mary continue to catch up, as Frank and Bree arrives and Ruth tells them "Look who's here to see me?" Mary hugs her Nephew and Great Niece and tells both of them "Ruth's so lucky to have the two of you." Frank tells his Aunt "You didn't waste no time coming to town." Mary tells them "I left right after you called last night." In Beth's Office, Beth, Terrance, and Olivia discuss Ruth's situation and Terrance and Olivia asks Beth "Have you accepted things?" Beth tells them "I can't do it." Terrance looks at them and says "It's hard to accept. I kick myself all the time for listening to Daddy, when he told me his wishes, and I helped him out of his misery. I carry it with me all the time." Willie meanwhile stands outside, and walks inside Beth's office, and looks at Terrance and asks her Son "Helped Sidney out of his misery? Did you kill your Daddy Terrance?" Terrance looks down, as Beth and Olivia are silent, as Terrance looks at his Mother and breaks down in tears.
 
 
 

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 218. The Hardest Thing To Accept

   At Hell Hill, Mona and Desi sits inside the vault, as Leigh stands in front of them, with a pistol and stares at her Sister and Desi with anger in her eyes as Mona asks "What happened to having a drink and letting things go?" Leigh laughs as she responds "So easy to say, but something that just can't happen." Leigh turns to Desi and responds "All that talk of letting things go and then you tell Cass Walker X and I are getting divorced." Desi looks at Leigh and tells her "I know you are cheating on X. He deserves much better than you and so does your children.." Leigh screams at Desi "I am not cheating on my husband you delusional, selfish, bitch and Xavier knows you are lying. He isn't an idiot." Mona asks her Sister "So you aren't sleeping with the DA?" Leigh paces the floor, as she says in a tone of fury "I hate confrontations, I really do. But I have had enough of both of you." Desi asks Leigh "Shouldn't you be with Gracie and Xavier Jr, instead of standing here trying to decide if you're going to kill us? You really are selfish.." Leigh forcefully slaps Desi and sternly warns her "Don't you ever give me parenting advice. And you need to tell Cass to stop following me or else I may have to say something to X and he won't be pleased." Mona looks at her Sister and yells "Since you just wanted to bitch us out, let us go." Leigh laughs "Yeah. I will do that, but the two of you leave here with this on your mind, It isn't Xavier you need to fear, nor Beth, it's me! And if the two of you keep meddling around at Class, and with my marriage, I have no trouble putting both of your asses six feet under. Now get the hell out of this house and don't look back!" Desi and Mona rushes out, as Leigh follows them to the door with her pistol aimed at them and Leigh slams the door, as Mona and Desi drive off, and Leigh sits in the living room and says to herself "If they try again, I will be using the Storm Shelter myself."

   At Tenny's Penthouse, Xavier looks around, as he sees Allan and Nathan, and looks at Rose and Andre and asks both of them "Who in the hell are the two of you?" Tenny tells her Grandson "Allan and Nathan are here to stay. Aren't you going to welcome them home?" Xavier looks at his Grandmother and laughs "I sent my jet to pick them up. Now back to why I came over here. The party's over." Tenny looks at Xavier and tells him "This is a welcome home party. Don't ruin it." Allan looks at his Son, as Xavier smells the marijuana and notices Rose and Andre smoking and Xavier tells them "Get out of here." Rose laughs "You aren't my boss Xavier Jackson." Andre looks at Nathan, and Allan tells Rose and Andre "I think the two of you need to follow his directions." Nathan yells "Andre is my friend." Andre nods, and Tenny tells Xavier "Don't tell me what to do. I swear you are turning into Ciarra." Xavier yells "My Daughter is across the hall trying to rest and all of you are over here getting high as hell, without a care in the world! I own this damn building and I hate to do this Grandma, but I will evict you if this keeps up!" Rose tells Xavier bluntly "I live here also." Xavier asks Rose "And what's your last name?" Rose snarks "None of your business!" Xavier pulls out his Colt 45, and shoots the stereo, and looks around and warns everyone "Sully is pregnant and she is having a hard time right now. The partying stops now! Or else I will stop it myself." Tenny asks Xavier "Don't you dare Xavier.." Xavier reminds his Grandmother "Your prescriptions are filled at Jim's, and I can easily stop that. And I will." Tenny looks at Allan, Nathan, Rose, and Andre and tells them, looking down "I think all of you need to leave. I will see you tomorrow." They head out, and Tenny asks her Grandson "What's really bothering you? Is it about Ruth?" Xavier tells Tenny "She's sick and blacked out today and nearly died. And you need to get in the office and watch Wallace's." Tenny tells Xavier "Wallace's is fine. Burt is helping me with it and Winston has also offered some help as well." Xavier looks at his Grandmother, and asks "Have you checked your stocks?" Tenny answers "Burt is watching over it." Xavier looks up, as he looks at his Grandmother, with a look of dread, and Tenny asks Xavier "Is there something I should know?" Xavier says as he takes a deep breath "If you were at the office, you would know. I have to check on Princess." Xavier heads out, as Tenny looks around and says to herself  "Stocks? What in the hell does that...wait.." Tenny is quiet for a moment, as she has a thought and shakes her head, as she says "Xavier wouldn't lie to me. Something's up."

   Meanwhile at Sassy's House, Rashad looks at Sassy, as he tells her "You were fired the other day from City Hospital and Uncle Terrance didn't tell me why. Did you have sex with Tyrone at the Hospital?" Sassy replies "He told me if I didn't, I would be dead and so would you and Sidney." Rashad yells "You fell for the damn bribe Sassy! I cannot believe you cheated on me." Rashad gets upset, as Sassy yells back, in a scared tone "Rashad I had no choice!" Rashad snaps back "Yes you did! You could have confided in me or Mom and we could have taken care of it. Uncle Clem is only a phone call away!" Sassy looks at Rashad and tells him "Tell me, has your Mom ever told you who your Father is Rashad? Because I know." Rashad grows silent, as he warns Sassy "Mom has her reasons. And I respect them." Sassy tells Rashad "That man at City Hospital that tried to kill you and Sidney is your Father. Tyrone told me." Rashad is stunned, and he slowly asks Sassy "Are you serious?" Sassy nods, and Rashad walks away from Sassy, as he heads to Little Sidney's nursery and Sassy asks "Where are you going?" Rashad doesn't answer, as he picks up his Son, and packs his belongings in his bag and walks out and tells Sassy "We're leaving." Sassy tells Rashad "Shouldn't you be going to confront Aretha about this?" Rashad tells Sassy "I'm going over there and thank her for keeping that secret from me. And don't expect to see your Grandson again. Damn. Latoya and you are really a pair." Rashad and Little Sidney leaves, as Sassy sits down and cries, knowing she's made a mistake and says to herself "Aretha won't let me forget this."

  At City Hospital, Ruth is asleep in her room, as Beth walks inside and tells Frank, Bree, Cale, Allison, Willie, Floyd, and Ciarra "All of you head home for the night. She isn't going anywhere. I'm staying with her." Willie looks at Beth and tells her "I can't leave since Clem went to see Aretha." Frank tells Beth, as does Bree "We aren't leaving Mama." Beth assures everyone "I am staying with her and stay at her bedside. All of you go get as much rest as possible." Terrance walks inside and tells his Mother "I'll take you home Mama." Willie looks at Beth and tells her "If anything changes, please let me know." Beth hugs Willie and tells her "I will keep all of you updated. Tomorrow I should have Ruth's test results and be able to tell all of you what's to come. I can't say right now if she will pull through or not. Go home and pray and keep praying. That's all I can advise." Bree looks at Beth, and Frank tells her "Mama will be fine and let's leave for tonight. She's safe with Beth here." Ciarra hugs her Niece, and tells Beth "If you need to talk Beth, just call me." Beth thanks her Aunt, and Floyd and Ciarra heads out, as does Cale and Allison, and Terrance and Willie. Frank looks at Beth and asks her "Is there anything I need to know about Mama? She has never acted like this." Bree also wonders the same thing, and Beth walks with them outside Ruth's room and tells both of them "I got her results earlier and the cancer is spreading. Olivia said it's terminal." Frank latches onto his Niece, as Bree asks Beth "Why didn't you say anything when everyone else was here?" Beth looks at them, as she starts to cry, and tells them "I want to see a miracle happen with Ruth, like with Willie. She's like a Mother to me, and I don't want to believe this. I just don't want to believe this.." Beth breaks down, and Frank and Bree holds Beth, as all of them cry together and Beth tells them "Just do as I said and pray. Prayer works. I know it does." Bree looks inside her Grandmother's room and cries "She is ready to give up and I'm not ready to let her go." Beth tells Bree "Nobody's ready, but it's not our choice." Frank looks at Beth and tells her "Ava will never forgive us if Mama dies while she's in jail. She needs to know." Beth tells Frank and Bree "Russell Marx and his whore for a Daughter will deeply regret what they've done if that woman doesn't make it. I can promise you that." Frank, Bree, and Beth gathers in a hug as Frank and Bree tells Beth "We feel the same way and I'm sure there will be others ready to go after Russell, Summer, and Winston, if Mama doesn't make it." Beth hugs them, as they leave and Beth walks back inside Ruth's room and sits by her bedside, and grabs Ruth's hand and looks at her, as Beth starts to cry and she says somberly "It's not your time yet. Nobody will let you go and Ava needs you right now." 

   Meanwhile at Russell's Loft, Russell has went to bed, as Summer sits in the living room and Rachel sits with her and tells Summer "I was with you're Mom when Ava killed her." Summer asks Rachel "Why didn't Ava kill you? She hates you with a passion." Rachel reminds Summer "It looks like she feels the same way towards you as well." Summer, holding her stomach, tells Rachel "My family hates me. None of them has ever loved me because I'm Russell's Daughter and the product of Daddy's affair with my Mom, which lead to Ava's rape." Rachel tells Summer "I know all about that. Your Mom, myself, and Lily Sullivan Corbin had a book we were writing which we were about to expose our families and I know Ava and Xavier played a part in killing your Mom. I know what you are going through. After I was molested by my Dad, my Mom hated me for it. Nobody would believe me nor support me." Summer tells Rachel "I met Desi before and I didn't like her." Rachel tells Summer "I think we have quite a bit in common." Summer agrees, and Rachel gets a text and tells Summer "I'm headed to my suite at The Sunset Club. I think we should confront Ava while she's locked up." Summer smiles, as Rachel leaves and Summer makes a phone call to Paul, and it goes to voicemail. At The Sunset Club, Fancy lays in the bed, as Paul lays next to her and Fancy tells him "You're Baby Mama told me to leave you alone earlier." Paul kisses Fancy, and tells her "I am more interested in this." Paul gets on top of Fancy as they have sex, and Paul's phone lays in the floor, in his pant pocket.

   At Sully and Jared's Penthouse, Xavier sits in the living room with Sully and Jared, as Sully asks her Father "Did you shoot her? I heard a gunshot. At least three or four?" Xavier asks "Three or four?" Sully nods, as does Jared, and Jared tells Sully "Clair Feldman was heading out in a rush when I knocked on the door. I have heard Tenny raise hell about her at the office." Xavier tells Sully and Jared "She's a stuck up bitch if you ask me, and Winston and Burt is helping Grandma run Wallace's." Jared has a look of dread, as Sully asks her Father and her Husband "What's going on? Why the look of anger?" Xavier pulls out his phone and plays Aretha's message to them and Jared and Sully both look at Xavier as Sully tells them "If Aretha is calling, then she knows something." Xavier responds "After talking to Grandma, I am just shocked and I have no idea as to how I'm going to handle this. Burt has worked for me for many years, and Winston has been very shady recently." Jared tells his Father In Law "I have a bad feeling Grandfather's back to his old ways again." Sully checks her tablet and tells Jared and Xavier "Read this." Xavier and Jared reads Aretha's blind item in The Exposer that says "Winston Hale's idea of charity donations involve paying Russell Marx to keep his Wife behind bars so she won't know what he and his Son is doing." Xavier looks at Jared, and Sully looks at them and notices anger growing in her Father's eyes as he asks Sully "Will you be alright?" Sully asks her Father "I heard Grandma Ruth is in City Hospital?" Xavier looks at Sully and tells his Daughter "Princess, you take care of yourself and Grandma will be fine. She's a fighter." Xavier hugs his Daughter and Jared, and heads back to Hell Hill, and Jared fumes and Sully tells him "I'm not surprised with your Grandfather, but Burt has shocked me. He has worked for Daddy since I was an infant. He was like my Uncle." Jared looks at his Wife and says "Let's call it a night Sully." Sully and Jared heads to the bedroom, as Sully tells Jared, as she feels a kick in her stomach "Looks like somebody else is upset too." Jared laughs "Our child will have both of our families mean streak." Sully laughs, as they get into bed.

   Meanwhile at Mona's Mansion, Mona pours herself and Desi a glass of wine, and Desi tells Mona "We are screwed. I hope you know that." Mona assures Desi "Xavier wouldn't kill his Wife's Sister." Desi laughs "You are crazy! She hates you and Sully does as well, that's enough for X to come after both of us." Mona tells Desi, changing subjects "Everything is going according to plan. I will soon have full control of Wallace's and Fancy's helping me." Desi looks at Mona and asks "Fancy? Doesn't she hate you?" Mona laughs "Money talks. She's doing my bidding." There's a knock at the door, as Mona answers and Burt walks inside and Mona kisses him and asks "So how did everything go?" Burt tells Mona "Everything's going smoothly. I think by tomorrow, you will have control of Wallace's. I just hope you have a plan for me, in case Xavier finds out about this." Desi laughs "You need to plan your funeral. He will kill you for this, but it's very clever and I like the idea. It gives me ideas also." Mona asks "What kind of ideas?" Desi tells them "Class. I know Sully's having a difficult pregnancy and if we found the right person, I could get my company back." Burt warns Desi "I wouldn't do that." Desi laughs "Don't be a hypocrite Burt." Burt looks at Mona and Desi tells them "I'm heading home for the evening. Meet me in the morning Mona." Mona nods, as Desi leaves, and Mona tells Burt "It's time for you to be rewarded." Mona grabs Burt's hand, as they go up to her bedroom.

   At The Evans Home, Rashad and Little Sidney arrives, as Aretha, Terrance, and Sayyid sits in the living room consoling Willie, as she cries "I am so scared for Ruth." Aretha sees Rashad and Little Sidney and asks  "Why are you here?" Willie walks over to take Little Sidney and she holds him tightly, as Rashad tells his Mother "I know Mom. I know Tyrone Gray is my Father." Aretha has a look of dread, as does everyone else in the room, as Aretha asks hesitantly "Are you angry?" Rashad hugs his Mother and tells her "I completely understand why you never told me about him." Sayyid asks Terrance "Is Tyrone still in City Hospital?" Terrance tells his Uncle "He was released a few days ago." Sayyid pulls out his briefcase and looks at Rashad and tells his Great-Nephew "Tyrone is a dead man. That bastard killed my family and I will kill him as well." Rashad tells his Great-Uncle "I'll help you." Terrance tells everyone "We all need to worry about Mama right now instead of plotting to kill Tyrone Gray! A member of our family may not have long left.." Willie asks "What are you talking about Terrance?" Terrance looks at his Mother, as Willie holds Little Sidney, and tells her "We got the results and Ruth's cancer is terminal. She may not make it." Willie shakes her head in denial, as she tells her Son "No Terrance. Ruth will make a miraculous recovery. She will! Just like I did!" Terrance holds his Mother's hand and says softly and sadly "Ruth stayed quiet too long Mama. Beth is in denial too. None of us wants to accept this." Willie hands her Great-Grandson to Rashad, as he takes his Son to the nursery, as Willie tells Terrance, Sayyid, and Aretha "Ruth Love Jackson is a tough woman. She is a survivor and she will pull through. I know it! I just know it!" Sayyid and Aretha gathers around Willie, as Terrance tells his Mother "Mama, she's dying. And she knows that as well." Willie breaks down as she screams in pain "No! No! No!" Willie looks up as tears falls from her eyes, as her body shakes, and Aretha, Terrance, and Sayyid holds her as Willie cries and prays "Please don't take Ruth. Please God I beg you!" 

   At Hell Hill, Country walks inside, as Leigh takes a drink of moonshine and Leigh tells Country "When will there be a vacancy?" Country tells Leigh "When X tells me to kill him or send him off." Leigh asks Country "How many people can The Storm Shelter hold?" Country responds "At least three." Leigh tells Country "I think you may want to get ready for some more people and Wallace can have a family reunion." Country sighs "Oh shit." Xavier returns and asks Country "Go upstairs and lay down. Bree's staying with Frank tonight." Country, and Leigh looks at Xavier and asks "How's Ruth?" Xavier looks at his Wife, and best friend and tells them "Mother sent me a text and...and..." Xavier's hands start to tremble and Leigh asks her Husband "What did Beth say?" Xavier starts to cry, as he tells them "Grandma is dying. She's not going to be with us much longer." Leigh holds Xavier, as does Country, as he cries, telling them "I feel like a million knives are in my back. And I am just...overwhelmed. Overwhelmed." At Tenny's Penthouse, Tenny sits in the living room with Precious, as she smokes a blunt and thinks about what Xavier had told her earlier and tells Precious "Mommy's got to take care of business soon." Tenny pulls out her pistol, as she loads it, and tells Precious "I won't miss this time."

   At Olivia's House, Allan and Nathan arrives, as Olivia sits in the living room, smoking a joint and Allan asks her "How did things go at the Hospital?" Olivia looks at Allan, and Nathan asks his Father "I think I'll leave the two of you to yourselves." Allan hugs his Son, as Nathan walks out, and Allan sits next to Olivia and says "I know that look Olivia. You have that look when something bad's about to happen." Olivia takes a deep toke, and passes the joint to Allan, and tells him "Beth will need you Allan. Ruth is dying and she's in denial." Allan shakes his head, as Olivia continues "I don't expect Ruth to make it no more than three months." Allan takes a toke and puts the joint out, as Olivia holds him close and Allan holds Olivia as both of them are saddened.

   Meanwhile Floyd and Ciarra returns to Floyd's home at Whispering Hills, as Clair yells at her Father "It's late! Neither of you should be out at night!" Floyd looks at his Daughter and tells her "I have too much to deal with right now and I am very angry with you!" Clair glares at Ciarra as Floyd tells his Daughter "I know about the way you've treated Ciarra while I was gone and I am very disappointed Clair." Ciarra heads to the bedroom as Clair tells her Father "Daddy, I know how her family is. They are all either drug addicts, or psychos.." Floyd looks at Clair and snaps "Clint was a psycho and you were married to him! And for the record, I am marrying Ciarra real soon and I don't really give a damn if you like it or not!" Clair looks at her Father and yells "You truly are one of the most selfish people I know!" Ciarra walks out of the bedroom and forcefully slaps Clair and snaps "I think you're the selfish one and I'm not going to tolerate you talking down to neither me or your Father Clair! Ruth is in City Hospital and she is ill and you need to get your priorities straight! Now if you want to keep causing drama, then you go get a room!" Clair sticks her nose up and walks out and turns around, and tells her Father "You always chose your whores over your children." Clair leaves, and Floyd looks at Ciarra and tells her "I don't understand her." Ciarra tells Floyd "Just let it go and get some sleep." Floyd and Ciarra heads to the bedroom as they call it a night.

   At The Farm, Frank and Bree sits in the living room, as Cale and Allison arrives and Cale notices tears in his Father's eyes, as Bree stands by his side and Cale asks them "What happened?" Frank gets up, as he looks at his Son, and grabs him and holds him tightly, as Bree has a distant look and Allison asks Bree "What happened when we left?" Bree tells her Cousin and his Wife, as Cale holds his Father "Grandma doesn't have long left. She's dying." Cale shakes his head in disbelief, as does Allison, as Cale asks Frank "Is she serious?" Frank starts to cry and Allison and Bree walks over as Frank, Cale, Allison, and Bree holds each other for comfort, as Frank cries "I don't know how to accept this." At City Hospital, Beth sits by Ruth's bedside, as Ruth wakes up and is groggy and looks at Beth and asks "Where is everyone?" Beth tells her "I sent them home." Ruth tells Beth "Thank you." Beth tells Ruth "You rest and tomorrow we're doing some more tests." Ruth tells Beth "I know I won't be here much longer, I want you to do something for me?" Beth looks at Ruth and asks "If it's to let you die, the answer is no." Ruth tells Beth "That you have no control over Beth, but I want you to take care of my family when I die." Beth tells Ruth "You're going to beat this Ruth. I know you will." Ruth looks at Beth, as tears fall from her eyes, as she tells Beth "You are the only person my family can turn to. You will be the next matriarch of my family. You're the only one that can hold them together Beth. Only you." Beth tries to assure Ruth "You will live. Remember Willie's miracle recovery?" Ruth looks at Beth and cries "Don't do like I did and live in denial. Accept this and help me enjoy the time I have left." Ruth closes her eyes, as she goes to sleep and Beth holds Ruth's hand, as she shakes her head and looks up and says a silent prayer, as does Xavier, Leigh, and Country at Hell Hill. Sully and Jared at Their Penthouse, Floyd and Ciarra at Floyd's home at Whispering Hills. Frank, Bree, Cale, and Allison at The Farm, and Willie, Aretha, Terrance, Sayyid, and Rashad at The Evans Home, as all of them prays for Ruth's survival.

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 217. Nightmares And Deadly Intentions

   On the side of the road, Xavier gets Ruth out of her car, as Clair calls the paramedics and Ruth looks at Xavier and asks him "What happened?" Xavier looks over at Clair and asks her "What happened? You could have killed my Grandma." Clair tells Xavier and Ruth, as Ruth is distant "Ruth drove into the SUV." Xavier looks at Ruth and asks "Did you blackout?" Ruth yells angrily at Xavier "I am damn tired of all of you treating me like an invalid! I am just fine!" The ambulance arrives and the paramedics tries to talk Ruth into going to City Hospital, and Ruth yells "Leave me the hell alone damnit! I am fine fine FINE.." Ruth begins to fall, as Xavier catches her and tells the paramedics "Take her to the Hospital!" Xavier watches on, as does Clair, as the ambulance drives away with Ruth and Xavier tells Clair "Follow them." Clair looks over her SUV and quips "If I had of been in a car, I could have been killed. Aunt Ruth shouldn't be driving." Xavier looks at Clair and yells "Get in the damn SUV and stop thinking about yourself!" Clair gets into her SUV, as she drives off and Xavier calls his Mother, and tells Beth, who's at Hell Hill "Grandma was in an accident. She's on her way to City Hospital." Beth hangs up the phone and Frank and Bree notices the look on Beth's face, as she tells them "Ruth was in a car accident." Beth, Frank, and Bree rush out, as Leigh asks "What can I do?" Beth tells her Daughter In Law "Just stay here. Xavier's on his way. I'll call Floyd and Willie." Beth leaves as Leigh sits in the living room and she receives a text from a restricted number, with a message saying "How's your fling on Xavier?" Leigh replies "Screw off!" Leigh shakes her head in frustration, as Xavier walks inside and looks at his Wife, as Leigh asks her Husband "What's wrong X?" Xavier pulls out a photo and shows it to Leigh, and Leigh is silent, with anger in her eyes, as Xavier notices and asks his Wife "Are Desi and Mona trying to set you up?" Leigh tells her Husband "Yes X." Xavier hugs his Wife, and assures her "I know this was a photoshop. Desi and your Sister will answer for this."
   At The Exposer, Aretha sits in her office, as Winston walks inside and Aretha asks Winston "How is Ava?" Winston tells Aretha "I haven't seen her." Aretha is quiet, as she pulls up an e-mail on her computer and asks Winston "What are you hiding from her? And are you keeping her in jail to keep from being exposed?" Winston yells at Aretha "How dare you make such an assumption. I am Ava's husband!" Aretha mumbles "Guilty answer." Winston yells "Speak louder so I can hear you." Aretha looks at Winston and tells him "What I am really interested in is your plot with Burt. I know that the two of you have been plotting something. And I wonder if Xavier knows, or Ava, and mostly Ms. Sullivan." Winston snaps at Aretha "You write fairy tales. This is a damn talbloid! Nobody believes what you write!" Aretha looks at Winston and tells him boldly "Ava is my best friend Winston. And I know inmates at the ALPD read The Exposer. And if Xavier finds out, or Ava, then you need to plan yourself a funeral!" Winston yells "Go to hell Aretha and take this trashy tabloid with you, and while you're heading there, quit writing about Ava!" Aretha is silent, as Winston storms out, and Aretha checks her e-mail and says to herself "Hell didn't change you after all Winston!"
    Meanwhile at Tenny's Penthouse, Cale and Allison arrives as Tenny yells "There's my Granddaughter, and her Husband. Want to take a toke?" Allison hugs her Mother and Father, as Olivia tells Allison and Cale "I can't believe my little girl is married now. It blows my mind." Cale assures Allan, Olivia, and Tenny "I take good care of her, and we are planning our future." Tenny tells Cale and Allison "Meet my Grandson, Nathan James. He really takes after me." Allan tells his Son "Allison is your Oldest Sister." Nathan looks down, as he shyly says "Nice to meet you." Allison asks her Father "I didn't know you had a Son?" Allan responds "I knew, but it's a long story." Olivia gets a text and tells everyone "I have to head to City Hospital. Beth's summoned me." Tenny yells "She was supposed to be on her way to my party!" Olivia looks at Tenny and tells her "Ruth was in an accident and I need to head down there." Allison hugs her Mother, as Olivia tells her Daughter "I have missed you so much Ally. But we're staying here." Cale looks at his Wife and tells her "I'm following Olivia. Grandma needs all the support she can get." Tenny yells "The two of you don't want to stay and party with me?" Cale tells Tenny "We don't do the marijuana. The Racing League does drug tests." Tenny laughs "Ever heard of money?" Cale sighs "That doesn't work in our profession." Cale, Allison, and Olivia heads out, as Allan tells his Mother "Beth told me you were friendly now with Ruth." Tenny looks up, as she takes a toke and sighs "I am. I think." Rose meanwhile gets a text and responds "I'll see you soon." Tenny looks at Allan, Nathan, and Rose and tells them "Party on now!" A smoke fest begins to start, as Tenny, Allan, Nathan, and Rose all fires up joints and blunts and the party begins, as they pass the joints and blunts around.
    At The Sunset Club, Fancy sits at a table, as Burt arrives and Fancy asks him "How's things going?" Burt tells Fancy "Nobody expects a thing. Tenny doesn't even know about this." Fancy asks Burt "What about my Son? Has he been found?" Burt looks down and tells Fancy "I know where he is and I can't say anything." Fancy looks at Burt and tells him "I have ways of making you tell me. Let's go to my suite and I will show you all the ways." Burt is tempted, and tells Fancy "If I said anything, many lives would be in danger." Fancy quips "Storm Shelter at Hell Hill?" Burt doesn't confirm nor deny Fancy's assumption and tells Fancy "I'll take a rain check on the sex. Here's some stock." Burt hands the envelope to Fancy and tells Burt "It's so good that you and your Father are helping me get back my beloved Wallace's store. Tenny is too high in the clouds and Xavier Jackson is too damn busy to know what's going on. This plan's working perfectly." Burt heads out, as Fancy looks at the envelope and Summer walks inside and asks Fancy in an angry tone "What part of stay the hell away from Paul do you not understand you plastic whore?" Fancy sits back, as she takes a drink, and laughs "Are you talking to yourself Summer? I have nothing on you. I didn't sleep with my in laws like you." Summer warns Fancy "I am glad you pay Paul, but we are expecting our child now, so it's time you find yourself a new man to keep your bed warm for you." Fancy looks at Summer and tells her, as she gets up "Paul follows money. I know the two of you met in the nut ward. Ask the soldier sometime about his days in Iraq." Fancy struts off, as Summer shakes her head in disgust and someone taps Summer's shoulder and Summer asks "Who are you?" The person tells Summer "I think we have something in common." Summer looks at the person for a few seconds, and replies "Aren't you supposed to be dead?" The person tells Summer "She failed with me, like she failed with you. If you weren't pregnant, I'd recommend a toast to celebrate this." The person shows Summer the Adam's Landing Journal, and laughs "I knew Adam's Landing was safe when I seen this."
   Meanwhile at City Hospital, Ruth is brought into the ER, as Beth, Frank, Bree, Clair, Floyd and Ciarra arrives and Ruth screams at her family "I want all of you to let me go the hell home right now! Do you hear me!" Terrance tells Ruth "You are not well and didn't we tell you to stop driving?" Ruth snaps "I will do what in the hell I want to do. And you needed to keep your damn mouth shut about my illness." Cale, Allison, and Olivia arrives as Beth tells Ruth "I am admitting you into the hospital and make sure you are taken care of. Nobody's ready to let you go." Ruth starts to pull the IVs out of her arms and yells "Go to hell. All of you!" Frank, Bree, Floyd, and Cale stops Ruth, as Beth looks at Olivia and tells her "I am glad you're back. Ruth is really going to need you." Meanwhile Ruth holds onto the rails, as she fights off her family as Frank tells his Mother "Get back in there and let the Beth, Terrance, and Olivia check you out Mama!" Ruth yells at her family "Not a damn thing is wrong with me Franklin Floyd Jackson!" Bree starts to cry and Floyd looks at Ruth and tells her, as he gets upset "You need help. I know you are sick." Ruth yells "Damn right! Sick of all of you hovering over me!" Willie and Sayyid arrives at City Hospital and Willie looks at Ruth and tells her "I'm sorry Ruth, but I can't watch this." Willie tells Frank, Bree, Floyd, and Cale "Ruth has cancer. And if she doesn't take her stubborn old ass back in that ER, her days will be numbered!" Ruth rolls her eyes and Willie starts to cry, as she tells Ruth "Can't you see your family needs you! Why can't you see that?" Ruth loses her balance, as she falls to the floor, and Frank and Cale catch her and Ruth cries "Please all of you, I am ready to go. Please do that. I'm begging you all." Bree cries "No Grandma. We won't!" Beth walks outside and tells Ruth "Get back in here and let us be there for you. You are the rock of the family!" Ruth looks at Beth, and she notices everyone fighting tears as she looks at Frank, and he helps his Mother into the triage, as Ruth's checked out by Beth, Terrance, and Olivia and Olivia tells Ruth "I hear you're smoking cigarettes. Beth told me your brothers died from emphysema and cancer." Ruth looks at Olivia and screams "Just tell all my damn business! I just want to die. Please just let me die!" Beth looks up, as she fights her emotions and tells Ruth "I hate to do this, but I am giving you a sedative and your room is ready."  Beth injects a sedative into Ruth's IV, as Ruth slowly falls to sleep and Beth tells the nurses "Take her to her room and I want a guard by her room. If she tries to escape, then strap her to the bed." Ruth is taken to her room, and Frank asks Beth "How bad is the cancer?" Beth, with her Aunt holding onto her, tells Frank, Bree, Floyd, Clair, Cale and Allison "As of now, it can be stopped, but she also has emphysema and what's really going on with Ruth is this, she has stage 3 lung cancer, and fluid buildup on her heart and lungs. The odds are not good. I'm going to fight like hell for her. But she needs to accept this." Willie and Sayyid walks inside and Sayyid tells Beth "I'll guard her room. Free of charge." Beth thanks Sayyid and Willie tells everyone "I've already lost Sidney, and when I was at death's door, Ruth never gave up on me, and I will do the same thing for her! Frank hugs Willie, as does Bree and Floyd, as Ruth's family vows "She's not going without one hell of a fight! I'm not ready to lose my Mama.." Frank starts to cry and Bree, Cale, Allison, and Beth consoles Frank, as Sayyid consoles Willie. Floyd looks at Ciarra and asks "Where is my Daughter?" Ciarra tells Floyd "She disappeared." Floyd looks at Ciarra and tells her, with tears in his eyes "None of us are ready for Ruth to go." Ciarra consoles Floyd as he starts to cry." Meanwhile in the triage, Beth walks back inside and tells Terrance and Olivia "I'm ordering a x ray and some tests asap."
   At Whispering Hills, Winston returns and finds Burt waiting for him and Winston asks Burt "Did you meet up with Fancy?" Burt tells his Father "I did and things are going according to plan." Winston looks at his Son and tells him "I think we need an alibi in case Xavier finds out about what we're doing." Burt tells his Father "I am more concerned with Ava's reaction." Winston tells his Son "I am keeping Ava in the jail for a reason, so she doesn't find out. And I sent Russell a check to keep his mouth shut! Cass has his eyes on Leigh, and he's distracted and we need to stay low with this Burt." Meanwhile at The Evans Home, Aretha returns, as the house is empty and finds a letter on the table and Aretha shakes her head with sadness, as she says to herself "This is too much. It's time Xavier knows about this." Aretha calls Xavier, and it goes to voicemail and Aretha leaves Xavier a message, telling him "You need to watch Burt Corbin. And I want to meet with you in the morning." Aretha hangs up the phone and calls Rashad, and he answers the phone and tells his Mother "Leave us alone! You can't accept the fact I'm with Sassy and we have enough to deal with!" Aretha asks Rashad "What if I told you Sassy is sleeping with Tyrone Gray?" Rashad hangs up the phone and Aretha yells "Sassy, you will be my cover story for tomorrow's edition you whore." Aretha pulls out a picture of Sassy and Tyrone and says to herself "I think Uncle Clem needs to know about Tyrone being in town. And silence his ass."
   Back at Tenny's Penthouse, the stereo's blazing, as smoke fills the living room, as Tenny, Allan, Nathan, and Rose all smoke up and there's a knock at the door and Clair yells from outside "Let me in there Tenny!" Tenny looks at Allan and Nathan and asks "Do you want to see the bitch?" Allan looks at his Mother and says "Not really." Nathan looks down and mumbles "Oh shit. She used the GPS." Rose looks at Nathan and laughs "Are you scared of your Mommy billionaire music mogul." Nathan yells "Shut up you dog-sitter!" Rose laughs "Mommy's little boy." Tenny answers the door, and walks outside and tells Clair point blank "Nobody wants to see you Clair! Go celebrate the fact Clint is dead and you go and cry at somebody else's home bitch." Clair pushes Tenny aside, as she walks inside the Penthouse and yells at her Son "This is exactly why I never told you about your real Father!" Tenny pulls out her pistol and shoots it in the air and yells "I hate buzzkills. Get the hell away from here!" Allan looks at Clair silently, as Nathan tells his Mother "I am grown and if I want to get high, then I will!" Clair warns her Son "Allan James isn't nothing but a drug addict. And from the look of things, so is his Mother.." Tenny hands her joint to Rose, as she slaps Clair and snaps "Go home and keep you're horny ass Daddy away from my Sister." Clair snaps back "I actually think Ciarra is the smart one in your demented family Tenny." Tenny yells "It's Ms.Sullivan you pathetic bitch! Now do as I say or I will shoot you." Nathan looks at his Grandmother, and his Mother, as Rose watches on and says in a dazed tone "This is some wild shit right here." Allan rolls his eyes as Nathan yells at his Mother "What you need to do Mom, is accept me for who I am! At least Grandma and Dad accepts me." Tenny holds Nathan and tells him "Go in for the kill now. I think I'm about to cry!" Clair yells, as she heads to the door "Nathan you have disappointed me. You have a choice. It's me or these losers." Tenny laughs "Do you want a silver bullet in your ass Clair?" Clair slams the door and heads out, and Nathan shakes his head in disgust, as Allan tells everyone "She has turned into a royal bitch after marrying Feldman all those years ago." Tenny yells "She can bite me. And I want to party now and I hope we don't have another rude interruption!"
    At Hell Hill, Xavier and Leigh sits in the nursery, as they play with Gracie and Xavier Jr, and Leigh tells her Husband "Shouldn't you be at City Hospital?" Xavier tells Leigh "Grandma's already going through enough and that message from Aretha wasn't very pleasing. I'm really in over my head now." Leigh asks "What did she tell you?" Xavier hands his phone to Leigh, as she plays Aretha's message and asks Xavier "Is she serious?" Xavier tells his Wife "Jared told me at the office that something's been going on with Burt and Winston. If what I'm thinking is correct, then I will make damn sure that Winston and Burt pays for this." Leigh looks at her Husband and reminds him "Don't forget you can't deal with all of this X. Remember the AVM?" Xavier nods and Leigh tells her Husband "You deal with Jackson Inc and Wallace. I am going to deal with Desi and Mona myself. They think I am this weak person, but they are about to find out otherwise." Xavier looks at Leigh with a smile and tells his Wife "I love it when you get fiery." Leigh tells Xavier "Nobody can break us up, no matter how hard they try." Xavier's phone rings and he tells Leigh "It's Princess." Xavier answers the phone and puts it on speaker as Sully tells her Father "Gran's throwing a wild party and I am going crazy. Jared's done knocked on the door and she didn't answer." Xavier and Leigh looks at each other, and Xavier tells his Daughter "I'm on my way." Xavier hangs up and Leigh tells him "How are you going to handle this?" Xavier hugs Leigh and sighs "If it isn't one thing, it's something else." Xavier kisses Gracie and Xavier Jr and Leigh and heads over to Tenny's Penthouse, as Leigh pulls out her phone and makes a phone call to Mona, and tells her "I've been thinking and I want you to come over to see me tonight and have a drink." Mona accepts, and Leigh adds "Bring your best friend also."
   Back at City Hospital, Ruth is in a private room, as Frank, Bree, Cale, Allison, Floyd, Ciarra, and Willie are by Ruth's bedside as she sleeps and Frank asks Willie "Where did Sayyid go in such a hurry?" Willie tells him "Aretha wanted to see him. He will be back soon." Bree tells everyone "I hate to see Grandma in this situation. She has been through so much and I hope Dad kills that bastard Wallace." Frank tells his Niece, as he holds her "If anything happens to my Mama, it won't be just Wallace that dies. There will be more to follow." Meanwhile in Beth's office, Terrance and Olivia goes over the X Ray results with Beth, as Olivia tells Beth "Ruth stayed quiet too long. I don't know if she can beat this." Beth looks at the X Ray results, and Beth tells Terrance and Olivia, as tears start to fall from her eyes "I don't know how I can tell them she isn't long for the world." Beth looks over all of Ruth's results and tells Olivia "Do you think we should even attempt chemo?" Olivia shakes her head and tells Beth "She's terminal Beth. All we can do now is figure out a way to make her last days as comfortable as possible." Beth looks at Olivia and Terrance and vows "I have seen miracles happen before and I am praying with all I have in me, that a miracle happens with Ruth. I'm not giving up on her." Terrance and Olivia consoles Beth, as she breaks down and cries, telling them "She is the heart of the Jackson Family, and with Ava in jail and all, if she was to die, it will destroy the family."
   Meanwhile at Russell's Loft, Summer returns and Russell sits in the living room and asks his Daughter "Where have you been?" Summer tells her Father "I went to tell Fancy to stay away from Paul." Russell tells Summer "I think I may have a solution to sending Ava to Unity Prison." Summer asks her Father "And how is that?" Russell yells, as Rachel Lane comes out of Russell's bedroom and Summer tells Russell "We just met earlier." Russell tells Summer "With all the hell that Ava's given Rachel, we can send her to Unity for life." Rachel tells Summer and Russell "Once I knew that Ava was in jail, I couldn't get to Adam's Landing fast enough to help put the bitch behind bars." At The Evans Home, Sayyid walks inside as Aretha tells her Uncle "Here's the room number to Tyrone's suite at The Sunset Club." Sayyid tells his Niece "Are you certain he is sleeping with Sassy? He goes for black women." Aretha tells her Uncle "Tyrone has been stalking Sassy, Rashad, and Little Sidney and then stopped after he and Sassy had a visit at her work." Sayyid rolls his eyes and tells Aretha "Tyrone is a walking dead man. I can assure you he's about to die." At Sassy's Home, Sassy returns, as Rashad tells her "You got a letter from the bank today." Sassy opens the letter and tells Rashad "I was late on my mortgage." Rashad asks "Did you pay off that Tyrone by sleeping with him?" Sassy grows silent, as Rashad sighs in anger "You did. Mom was right." At Tenny's Penthouse, a man in a hoodie arrives and Nathan tells Tenny, Allan, and Rose "This is my friend from L.A.. I brought him here. He's my source. Meet Andre Parks." Andre hands everyone two blunts and tells them "This is free. And it's nice to be out of South Central." As everyone starts to smoke, the door opens again and Tenny rolls her eyes, as Xavier walks inside and asks everyone "What in the hell is going on in here?" At Hell Hill, Mona and Desi arrive, as Leigh greets them at the door and tells them to follow her. Mona and Desi follows Leigh to the vault, and once inside, Leigh pulls out a pistol and Desi and Mona are both scared, as Leigh tells them "This room is soundproof and the two of you are about to learn what happens when I am pissed off."
 

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 216. The Great Deception

   It's been 3 weeks since we last visited Adam's Landing. When we last left off, Frank was revealed as the Father to Wallace Manning Jr. Ava had paid Summer a visit at Russell's Loft, with her gun in tow. Ruth had collapsed at Hell Hill while watching Gracie and Xavier Jr, and found by Floyd. There was a lot of action beginning to take place and damning secrets beginning to unravel. Now we pick up D&D, three weeks later..

   It's a rainy day in Adam's Landing, as a plane arrives at Adam's Landing International Airport, and the pilot calls Xavier, at Jackson Inc and tells him "They are here Mr.Jackson." Xavier, sitting in his office alone, tells his pilot "Thank you." Xavier hangs up the phone, as Tenny walks inside her Grandson's office and Xavier looks at his Grandmother, and asks her "I hear you're still rocking out at the penthouse?" Tenny, in a unassuming tone, looks up and says in a distant tone "Who? Me? I am an old woman Xavier. I don't do those things." Xavier looks at his Grandmother and reminds her "Didn't I tell you to keep it quiet? Sully is pregnant, and I know about your new friend." Tenny rolls her eyes and sighs "Damn Ciarra won't stop ratting me out. Where is the bitch?" Xavier rolls his eyes, as he tells her "Aunt Ciarra's at Uncle Floyd's. He hasn't returned home." Tenny quips "Maybe he found himself a whore and decided to stay where-ever he went. I hope so." Xavier gets frustrated and sternly tells his Grandmother "I want to make this perfectly clear Grandma. I think it's time you accept things, and deal with them. And I am tired of the rivalry between you and Aunt Ciarra. Uncle Floyd is missing, and I seen that card you sent Aunt Ciarra. Quite tasteless." Tenny sighs "You don't have no humor Xavier. Just like J.D.." Xavier tells her "Papaw and Uncle Jacob would want you to be there for your Sister." Tenny heads to the door and quips "Oldest Sister has Clair Feldman now. I don't know Ciarra." Tenny heads out, as Xavier makes a phone call.
   At Floyd's home at Whispering Hills, Ciarra sits in the living room, as she goes over the sales reports from Emery's, as Clair walks inside and asks Ciarra "I see you are moving forward? You don't even act like you give a damn about my Daddy." Ciarra looks at Clair and tells her in a tone of frustration "I am scared about your Daddy Clair. I do work also and I am handling Emery's alone right now. Floyd will be back. I feel it." Clair yells "You can't feel because you don't love him." Ciarra keeps her composure as Clair continues "If you loved Daddy, you would be frantic!" Ciarra gets up and boldly tells Clair "You are really pushing me to my breaking point. I have tolerated your disdain for your Father and I being together, and about to marry, and I think you need to grow the hell up! I could judge you as well!" Clair screams at Ciarra "Don't judge me bitch.." Ciarra slaps Clair in the mouth and snaps "I have had enough now! I am not concerned for one reason, I know where Floyd went, and he is on his way home." Clair snaps back "You knew where my Daddy was and didn't tell me? How dare you!" Ciarra looks at Clair, as she heads to the door to go to The Penthouse "He told me to stay quiet. If he wanted you to know, he would have told you." Ciarra walks out, as Clair rolls her eyes and is silent for a moment as she says to herself "He went to L.A." Clair calls her Son Nathan James, and his phone goes to voice mail, and Clair makes a phone call to her Husband, Clint Feldman, and his phone has been turned off, and Clair takes a deep breath, as she walks into Floyd and Ciarra's bedroom and notices her Father's rifle is gone and has a look of dread in her eyes.
   At Hell Hill, Beth sits in the living room, as Terrance calls from City Hospital and asks Beth "How is Ruth doing?" Beth tells Terrance "She is putting on a great act. She is in complete denial." Terrance, sitting in his office tells her "Mama forced me to tell her about Ruth. I couldn't keep it from her." Beth sighs and tells Terrance "I'm not upset Terrance. Ruth needs to open up and she's at Willie's as we speak." Terrance tells Beth "She isn't supposed to be driving." Beth takes a deep breath and responds "She knows. With all that's going on right now, she is losing it and it scares me, but she is so stubborn." Terrance sighs as he tells Beth "I have a page. Tell Ruth to be at City Hospital tomorrow." Beth tells him "I'll make sure of it." and hangs up, as there's a knock at the door and Beth walks over and opens the door and starts to cry as Allan tells his Sister "Are you slowing down Big Sis? You weren't at the hospital.." Beth grabs her Brother in a hug, as she tells him "What are you doing here? Where's Olivia and my Nephew?" Allan looks at his Sister and asks "Are Gracie and Xavier Jr upstairs?" Beth shows Allan the baby monitor and tells him "Let's walk out on the porch." Beth and Allan walks outside, and Beth pulls out a joint, and Allan laughs "You still can't roll a joint Beth. Always too damn tight." Beth looks at Allan and laughs "I learned from you hippie." Allan looks at Beth, as she takes a toke and laughs "I have missed you and Mama." Beth holds Allan's hand, as she tells her Brother "I have missed you also. Don't forget about Allison." Allan takes a deep breath, as Beth passes the joint to Allan and he pulls an envelope out of his pocket and tells Beth "I got back what's mine now and I am here to stay." Beth holds onto Allan's hand in a tone of content, as they smoke together and Beth tells Allan "I am just glad you are back and alive."
    Meanwhile at Class, Leigh and Sully sits inside Sully's office, as Sully tells her Mother "I think everything is set for the fashion show." Leigh looks at her Daughter and tells her "I am so nervous I don't know if I can walk the runway again." Sully assures her Mother "You will be perfect for this Mom." Leigh reminds Sully "Did you forget about X? He isn't crazy about me returning to Modeling." Sully looks at her Mother and tells her "Daddy is just scared. He used to have nightmares about Paris often. He relived that moment so often, and I know he still does today, otherwise he wouldn't be upset." Leigh sighs and looks at Sully and changes subject, as she asks Sully "Have you noticed anything off about Cass Walker?" Sully tells her Mother "He's working for Daddy and Bobby. He seems normal to me." Leigh tells her Daughter "He's been watching me closely, like he has an attraction to me." Sully assures her Mother "Cass knows that you are married and happily married. He wouldn't attempt to break up you and Daddy." Leigh tells her Daughter "I have also noticed Desi has been around him also. Something's up between them and Mona. I know it." Sully looks at her Mother and tells her "I think you're paranoid Mom." Sully gets up from her desk, as she tells her Mother "I think I'm headed home. This pregnancy is exhausting and I have felt like shit all the time." Leigh tells her Daughter "I will keep an eye on things for you honey. Go home and rest. X said he would talk to Tenny about her music." Sully laughs "I sleep better when she isn't home than when she is. Since Aunt Ciarra moved, Gran has went wild. People are always in and out." Leigh asks "Is Jared's Mother still staying with Tenny?" Sully tells her "Gabriella left the other day. She and Jared had a disagreement and she left town." Leigh tells Sully "I figured that was coming." Sully sighs "Me too." Leigh hugs Sully, as she tells her Daughter, noticing her baby bump "Go home and rest up. I have things covered and you need to focus on your pregnancy." Sully walks out, as Leigh calls Marco, who's in Europe and tells him "I think Desi and Mona are trying to break my marriage up."
   At The Evans Home, Willie and Little Sidney sits in the living room as Ruth tells her best friend "I am about fed up with the Mannings and Winston. They have caused so much stress and stain on my family.." Willie stops Ruth and asks her point blank "So are you sick Ruth? Terrance.." Ruth looks at Willie and tells her "Willie I am upset that Terrance said anything to you. I am going to pay him a visit." Willie sternly tells Ruth "Why are you hiding this from me? After all we have went through?" Ruth looks at Willie and tells her "I am not sick and I'm not dying! If I was, I would tell you." Willie gets frustrated, as she puts Little Sidney in his crib, and sits next to Ruth, and tells her "I know you aren't well. You can't keep hiding Ruth. And it isn't like you." Ruth looks at Willie and grabs her hand, as tears fall from her eyes and Ruth tells her "With all that's going on, I swore Beth to secrecy, and Floyd. Too much is going on and I don't want the family to worry about me Willie. I am FINE!" Willie yells "You are not! And the longer you keep telling yourself that, is the less time you have left unless your stubborn ass accepts the truth and confides in her family so they can be there for you!" Ruth looks at Willie, with a scared look, as Willie tells Ruth "Either you will tell your family, or I will Ruth!" Ruth is silent, as Willie warns Ruth "Do you have a death wish?" Ruth looks at Willie and starts to cry, as she tells Willie "I can't accept it and at my age I don't want to fight this again." Willie holds Ruth, as she assures her "You have everyone to help you. You just need to let them in." Ruth cries "I can't say anything until my family is together."
   Meanwhile at The Farm, Bree sits in the living room, as Frank arrives and asks his Niece "Why are you still here? I thought I told you I was over Wallace?" Bree tells her Uncle "I am here for another reason. We need to discuss Grandma. She isn't well." Frank looks at his Niece and tells her "I know Bree. Beth won't tell me anything and Uncle Floyd is gone and he hasn't said anything though he was watching Mama closely after her collapse." Bree tells him "She hasn't quit the cigarettes either. It's almost like she's embracing death. When I saw her yesterday, Grandma gave me this." Bree pulls out a ring and Frank looks at it and tells Bree, with a look of dread "That's her wedding ring. She wouldn't give it away." Bree tells her Uncle "She has a list written too. I found it and it's like a bucket list." Frank gets up, as he looks outside, and tells Bree "Everything is getting to her. I could kill that son of a bitch and his Mama for the hell they've caused our family. Xavier isn't the only one with a temper." Bree asks Frank "Have you checked The Storm Shelter recently? Dad's been down there." Frank looks at Bree and laughs "Must be why Wallace hasn't been seen." Bree tells Frank "Grandma told me that Xavier had a guest." Frank changes subjects and tells Bree "I've never heard you call Country "Dad". What changed?" Bree tells him "We are growing close. He's been staying at the mansion with me and we are bonding." Frank hugs Bree and tells her "I am glad that you are growing close with Country, sadly I can't see Wallace as a Son. That's a part of my life I want to forget." Bree tells him "I think everyone would like to do that, but it's been spreading like fire in town." Frank shakes his head in anger "Damn Fancy. I think I am going to The Storm Shelter and visit my Son." Frank leaves, as Bree follows behind him.
   At Jackson Inc, Xavier sits in his office, as Jared walks inside and tells his Father In Law "I think you need to see this." Jared hands something to Xavier, as he looks at it and asks Jared "What in the hell is this?" Jared tells Xavier "Burt has been acting weird lately, as have Grandfather." Xavier looks at Jared and tells him "Burt's strange anyway and your Grandfather hasn't helped things." Jared tells Xavier "I can't believe he lied to Burt and Ava about Summer's child. He already has two Grandchildren. Something doesn't add up." Xavier takes a deep breath and asks Jared, as he looks over what Jared gave him, and asks "Do you believe that Winston knows about this?" Jared looks at Xavier and tells him "I wonder if Ava knows?" Xavier yells in frustration "Russell Marx has caused more pain on this damn family and Summer will meet my wrath if he doesn't do as directed." Jared looks at Xavier and reminds him "She's carrying Bobby's Grandchild?" Xavier responds "And Bobby isn't very happy either. We are both mad as hell about this!" Jared tells Xavier "Also for the record, Paul is sleeping with Fancy Manning also." Xavier nods his head, as he tells his Son In Law "Bobby is pissed about that. Fancy is a whore and Paul is playing her like a deck of cards." The door opens as Desi walks inside and looks at Jared and Xavier and tells Jared "I need a moment alone with X." Jared walks out, as Xavier asks Desi "Why are you here?" Desi looks at Xavier and tells him "I need to tell you something. Leigh is cheating on you." Desi hands a picture to Xavier, and he looks at it and is silent.
   At Tenny's Penthouse, Tenny walks inside, as a young woman sits in the living room and tells Tenny "Your Sister stopped by and got the rest of her things." Tenny looks at her and asks "Did she get everything?" The woman responds "She left this letter." Tenny rips the letter up and tells the woman "Here's some money for watching Precious for me." The woman asks Tenny "I thought we were going to smoke together?" Tenny looks at the young woman and laughs "That's right. I forgot." Tenny pulls out her marijuana pouch and asks the woman "Have you been partying lately? Sully needs to rest." The woman tells her "That would be you Tenny." Tenny angrily responds "That's Ms.Sullivan!" The woman sighs "Whatever...Tenny." Tenny rolls her eyes and snaps "Ok Rose! Call me Tenny. But only privately." There's a knock at the door, as Tenny fires up a joint and she asks Rose "Are you expecting someone?" Rose responds "No." Tenny laughs, as she takes a toke "I'm hearing things." The door opens, as Allan, Olivia, and Nathan James, Tenny's Grandson walks inside and Tenny yells "My boys!" Allan hugs his Mother, as Olivia tells Tenny "We are home to stay." Nathan stands back as Precious growls at him and Tenny yells at Precious "That's you're Uncle." Tenny hugs her Grandson and asks him "Did that bastard run you out of Los Angeles?" Nathan tells his Grandmother "He's dead." Allan tells his Mother "Clint is dead. Nathan, myself, Sayyid, and Floyd made damn sure of that, and now I have my copyrights and masters, and my Son's a billionaire." Nathan is quiet as Tenny looks at Nathan and says with a smile "I'm glad you killed that piece of shit." Tenny looks at Rose, Allan, Olivia, and Nathan and tells Rose "Go outside and check the hall and see if Sully or Jared is home." Rose walks out and Tenny asks Nathan "Do you have any gifts for your Grandma?" Nathan smiles, as he pulls out his marijuana pouch and Tenny tells them "We're having a party tonight!" Tenny calls Beth, as Olivia calls Allison, and Rose walks back over and tells Tenny "It's quiet across the hall." Tenny, with a joint in her mouth, walks over to the stereo, as she tells everyone "Since nobody's home across the hall.." Tenny turns on the stereo and turns the volume up and laughs "I can't hear well." The party starts at Tenny's, meanwhile across the hall, Sully sits in the living room, as she calls Jared and tells her Husband "I think Gran didn't get the memo."
   Back at Floyd's House at Whispering Hills, Ciarra returns as she notices the house is empty and she says to herself "Maybe Clair left. I need a break from her." Ciarra hears a voice come out of the bedroom, as Floyd looks at Ciarra and tells his fiancee "Howdy my beautiful lady." Ciarra latches to Floyd, as she tells him "I am so glad you're home." Floyd looks at Ciarra and tells her "I took the jet with Allan, Olivia, Nathan, and Sayyid back home." Ciarra holds onto Floyd, as she tells him "I have missed you so much. Carry your phone with you!" Floyd tells Ciarra "I took care of Clint. Clair or Nathan has nothing to fear now. Where is my Daughter?" Ciarra tells him "She left while I went over to Tennessee's to get the rest of my things." Floyd gets his phone and asks Ciarra "Dial her number for me." Ciarra dials Clair's number, as Floyd calls her number and it goes to voicemail and Floyd asks Ciarra "How's Ruth?" Ciarra tells Floyd "She isn't well." Floyd shakes his head, as he tells Ciarra "Something's wrong and she won't tell nobody what's going on." Ciarra assures him "She'll open up maybe when Ava comes home." Floyd asks "Where is Ava?"
   At The Evans Home, Willie sits in the living room, as her door opens and Sayyid yells "Willie!" Willie looks at her Brother and goes "Clem!" Willie holds onto her Brother as Sayyid asks his Sister "What's wrong Willie?" Willie looks at Sayyid, as tears start to fall and she says in a scared tone "It's Ruth. She's sick." At Hell Hill, Beth sits in the living room, as Leigh returns from Class and Beth tells Leigh "Allan and Olivia are home and I'm headed to Mama's for her Welcome Home Party for them." Leigh rolls her eyes as Beth assures Leigh "I'll make sure she behaves herself." At the ALPD, Russell walks into the visitation room, as the jailer brings Ava in the room and Russell tells his Ex Wife "I plan to have your hearing in the morning. You went too far with Summer and I am going to make you pay for it." Ava's silent, as Bobby walks inside and tells Russell "Leave my client the hell alone you bastard and tell that whore you have for a daughter to watch her ass!" Russell looks at Bobby and asks him "Why are you defending the woman that tried to kill your Son?" Bobby looks at Russell and warns him "One thing, family loyalty. And if I catch you in here again with my client, I will whoop your ass Marx!" Russell coldly tells Bobby and Ava "Nothing will keep me from releasing Ava. I don't give a damn about what's going on, she tried to kill my pregnant Summer, and she will pay for this." Ava is silent, as she gives an evil glare to Russell and Bobby tells Russell "Get out of here so I can talk privately with Ava." Russell leaves, and Ava tells Bobby "What's going on with Winston?" Bobby takes a deep breath and tells Ava "Russell has denied visitors for you. He's determined to keep you behind bars." Back at Hell Hill, Beth and Leigh sits in the living room, as Frank and Bree arrives and asks Beth "Where's Mama? She didn't answer the phone." On the highway, two cars are on the side of the road as there's been a car crash. Clair gets out of her SUV, as she looks at the other car and a look of horror comes over her face, as Xavier pulls up and looks at the other car and looks at Clair and rush to Ruth's side as she's unconscious.
