Daylight And Darkness: Episode 241. The Path Of Fury

   At Jazz, Rachel turns around, as Eve looks at Rachel, and Rachel asks Eve in a mocking tone "So are you here to further your agenda bitch?" Eve laughs, and looks at Andre and advises him "This whore is bad bad bad." Rachel slaps Eve, and warns her "This isn't Sugar Creek Eve. River isn't here and you stay out of my business!" Eve grabs Rachel by her blouse, and hisses "Bitch let me get one thing straight with you right now, nobody slaps me and gets away with it." Eve turns to Andre, and quips "Don't fall into this whore's tangled web. She's as fake as her Mother." Eve looks at Rachel, and laughs "Yeah, I know your Mother also. And both of you could be damn twins." Eve walks out, and Rachel's eyes turns red, and Andre grows concerned, as he asks Rachel "Was she correct?" Rachel looks at Andre, and pulls down her blouse, and asks Andre "Are you really sure you don't want to help me out?" Andre stares at Rachel, as his eyes widen, and Andre tells her "I'm game. What do you want me to do?" Rachel tells him "Go down to City Hospital now and pull the fire alarm." Andre quips "Easy enough." Andre walks off, as Rachel follows, and bumps into Eve again, and they glare at each other, as Rachel heads out, and Eve shakes her head, and sighs "Rachel Lane. Still a trick."
   At Russell's Loft, Bree and Andy has arrived, as Russell tells them "Summer's left." Bree and Andy reads the letter Summer left, and Bree tells Russell "She's taking things into her own hands." Russell tells Bree "My gun's missing also, and Summer doesn't even know how to shoot a gun." Andy tells them "I was heading to Unity tonight, but I think I will go ahead and head that way. She doesn't know anyone down there." Bree nods, as does Russell, as he tells Andy "If I can find out for sure this Dr. Caswell was the kidnapper, I'm nailing her ass to the wall, and I will destroy her for the pain she's caused Summer. I haven't been the perfect Father, but I'll be damned to see Summer suffer anymore." Andy looks at Russell, and tells him "When I get down to Unity, I'll make sure she's taken care of, and I will find Jake." Bree tells them "If you're going to Unity Andy, I'm going with you." Russell looks at Bree, and tells her "Stay here and help Cass. I'm heading to Captial City and get the State on this, and with Xavier and the Jackson family's help, we should be able to find Jake easily. I won't be afraid to play dirty. This is my Grandson.." Russell motions to the door, as Bree and Andy walks out, as Russell gets emotional for a moment, and looks around the loft, and makes a phone call to Cass, and gets his voicemail, and tells him "I'm heading back to Capital City. You get on the stick!"
   At City Hospital, Allan, and Allison sits by Olivia's bedside, as she begins to remember what happened, as Terrance walks inside, and Olivia says "Dr.Faye." Allan asks "Was she the one that injected you?" Olivia nods, and Allison shakes her head in disgust, as she tells her Parents and Terrance "I ought of go down there and inject her ass!" Olivia looks at her Daughter, and tells her "Ally, I am going to be fine. She will get hers. With her history, it's only a matter of time." Terrance tells them "I told Cass to look at Unity since she's the Wife of the shamed Reverend." Allan tells Terrance "I think I'm going to talk to Rose and learn about her Mother." Allan's phone rings, and he answers and asks "What! I'll be there shortly." Allan tells Olivia, Allison, and Terrance "Andre just walked off his job. And I'm about to give him his walking papers." Allan hugs Allison, and tells her "Keep an eye on your Mom for me." Allison nods, as Allan kisses Olivia, and heads to Jazz. Olivia tells Terrance "Dr. Caswell killed Clair Feldman." Terrance looks at Olivia, and responds "I figured that. She also kidnapped a child as well." Olivia takes a deep breath, and goes "I don't think she has her marbles arranged." Terrance laughs "I'm glad you are getting well Olivia. As soon as Allan returns, I'm letting you go home. You seem like you're fine now." Olivia quips "I'm ready to get out of here."
   Meanwhile at The Sunset Club, Mary has returned to her Suite, as she finishes packing and places the small urn, which contains Ruth's ashes, inside a small box, and there's a knock on the door, and Mary answers, as Rose looks at her Grandmother, and Mary asks Rose "What's wrong honey?" Rose starts to cry, as she shows her Grandmother the message on her phone, and Mary shakes her head, and sighs "Oh my stars." Rose tells her "I'm scared Maw. He knows I'm here. And I haven't told Nathan." Mary takes a deep breath, as she struggles for a moment, and tells her Granddaughter "I really wish he would have stayed where he was, but he's out now." Rose cries "He's going to kill me Maw. I know it. And what do I do?" Mary sits Rose down next to her, and holds her hand, and gently says "Rose, you have family in Adam's Landing, and try to grow close to some of them. Bree and Frank are good people, and I know you've grown close to Ava. I know you'll be safe. And Tenny Sullivan has a soft spot for you, I am comfortable leaving, knowing you have someone here to watch over you." Rose cries "Maw I will miss you so much. I really need you here." Mary looks at Rose, and with tears in her eyes, says "Popper needs me also, and I have to get back home and do damage control. I pray that your Father changes, but I don't know. I want to give up, but I need to be home, and we also have to rebuild the home place." Rose looks at her, and says in a sad tone "I understand Maw." Mary hugs Rose, and assures her "If you ever need me my flower, you call me. And trust in God. He will protect you!" Rose looks at her Grandmother, and says "I just hope that I am safe." Mary assures her "You are honey. Now go. I don't want to cry anymore. Just remember it's a few hours to Unity." Rose nods, as she walks out, and Mary packs her bags, and makes a phone call to Hazel, and tells her Daughter "I'm heading home." Mary grabs her suitcase, as she heads to check out, and return home.
   At Hell Hill meanwhile, Xavier, Bobby, Beth, and Ava sits in the living room, as Bobby and Xavier sits by Beth, as she sighs "It's so surreal to be here without Ruth." Xavier tells his Mother "It's definitely different, but she's here." Ava agrees, and Leigh comes downstairs, and sees everyone, and runs back upstairs, and Xavier has a worried look in his eye, as does Beth and Ava, as Beth asks "What's wrong with Leigh?" Xavier tells his Mother "She's not herself. I have no idea what's going on with her." Ava tells them "I think she's going through the change. I never did go through it because I had a hysterectomy, so I never went through it." Beth tells them "I remember when Mama went through it. Her personality changed overnight. It's hell." Xavier asks "What do I do for her? I just don't know how to help her and I hate seeing her like this. It isn't her." Beth tells her Son "You do what you've done since she returned, take care of her and let her know you love her regardless of the situation." Ava tells everyone "I need to go check on my project." Xavier quips "Winston?" Ava laughs "I pulled the plug today." Ava hugs Xavier and Beth, and Gracie and Xavier Jr, as Ava heads out, and Bobby checks his phone and tells Xavier "I need to go talk to Russell and Cass about Jake's kidnapping." Xavier and Beth asks "Are there any leads?" Bobby responds "We're certain it's Dr. Caswell." Beth quips "I'm not surprised. She needs to be locked in a padded cell." Bobby tells them "If Russell has it his way, she'll be in a casket." Xavier laughs, as Bobby walks out, and Beth looks at Gracie and Xavier Jr, and tells them "Let's go and visit yall's new niece." Xavier tells his Mother "Thank you Mother.  Send Princess my love. And I can take care of Leigh." Beth tells Xavier, as she gives her Son a hug "Just support her and love her. That's all you can do." Xavier asks his Mother as she heads out with her Grandchildren "I heard you didn't stay at Grandma's last night?" Beth quickly responds "I stayed with Bobby and don't give me any grief!" Beth heads out with Gracie and Xavier Jr, as Xavier heads upstairs to check on Leigh.
   Back at Jazz, Eve sits at the bar, as she has a drink and checks her phone, and notices River's message and responds "Get your ass to Adam's Landing or I'll drag you here!" Allan walks inside and goes "Eve?" Eve turns around and sees Allan, and they hug, as Eve tells him "It's been years! And where is that long hair?" Allan tells his longtime friend "Long story." Eve sighs "I heard about what happened." Allan asks Eve "So what's brought you to Adam's Landing?" Eve looks at Allan, and tells him "I have some things to do. I am talking to Nathan about my next album and he's going to produce it. J.B. Brown trained him well with R&B, and frankly I want to go back to the old school again. I've always loved Jazz, but I can still out-sing any of today's wannabes like that Latoya bitch." Allan laughs "You're still the same." Eve tells Allan "I heard Nathan was your Son. I really wasn't surprised." Allan responds "We have a great relationship. Mama's very close to him, and Clair's death has really affected him." Eve sighs "I imagine so. I am going to visit him later." Allan tells Eve "I have some work to do. Let's catch up." Eve nods, as Allan heads towards his office, and Eve heads out, as she bumps into Aretha and Sayyid, as Aretha tells Eve "I figured you came here." Eve tells them "I wanted to meet my Son." Unknown to them, Rachel is listening on, as she records the three of them talking, and walks out, as she heads to The Sunset Club.
    Back at Russell's Loft, Bobby and Cass has arrived, as Bree and Russell sits inside and they discuss their strategy, as Andy has already left for Unity." Russell looks at Bobby, Cass, and Bree, and tells them "Bree, I want you to follow Andy to Unity so Summer can have some support. Cass, you and Bobby are in charge of things here. I'm going back to my post and make damn sure the State does its job. With the Jackson money, they should be jumping right on it." Bobby tells Russell "That name has power Russell. Good thing you have realized that."
    At The Sunset Club, Clayton sits inside his Suite, as Rachel sends him a text, saying "Everything is on plan." Clayton responds "I know they are." At City Hospital, Andre has pulled the alarm, and the hospital has been evacuated. Terrance, Olivia, and Allison stands outside, as Olivia tells Terrance "I'm going home." Terrance tells her "Ok. This is a false alarm anyway." Tenny pulls up, as Olivia looks at Allison, and Tenny yells at Olivia "Remember, nobody drives my camaro." Andre meanwhile has gotten away clean, and Everyone goes back inside City Hospital, as Ava arrives and heads to Winston's room, and when she walks inside, she notices he's gone. Ava looks up and snarls "Clayton. You are pushing it." Ava walks out, and sees Terrance and asks him "Where's Winston?" Terrance looks inside his room, and looks at Ava, and both fume with anger. Meanwhile Beth arrives at Sully and Jared's Penthouse, with Gracie and Xavier Jr, and they walk inside, and as Sully and Jared hugs Beth, Gracie, and Xavier Jr, Beth hears something, and tells her Granddaughter "Mama's picking Olivia up. Why do I hear someone over there?" Sully tells her Grandmother "It could be Nathan." Beth tells Jared "Keep an eye on these two and my Sully and Ruthie." Beth walks across the hall, and opens the door, and sees Rose inside and Beth glares at Rose, as Beth angrily tells Rose "You and I have something to discuss."
 

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 240. Gifts And Confessions

   At Jackson Inc, Bobby sits at his desk, as Xavier, with Gracie sitting on his lap, Beth, holding Xavier Jr, Frank, Ava, Bree, Cale, Andy, Willie, and Mary sits inside, and Bobby tells them "Before Ruth passed away, she came down here and told me to record this." Bobby turns his monitor around on his desk, as he begins to play the video, and Ruth sits inside Frank's Greenhouse, as she says "I love this place, and the beauty that it possesses inside. I hope it's like this when I get to heaven." The tears begins to flow inside Bobby's office, as Beth latches onto her Grandson, as Xavier holds onto Gracie, and everyone begins to cry, as Ruth continues "Life isn't about money, nor is it about revenge, it's family. And we fight for our own. Now all of you have to fight on your own, and take the lessons of your past and use them in your future. You all also have to be one. And I sincerely hope that can happen. I have left my money to City Hospital, so it can grow, and lives can be saved. As for my holdings in Hell Hill, I've left that to Beth as you all know. But that isn't the point, As you all know, I have been cremated, and all of you will have a part of me, but with one stipulation." Everyone grows curious, as Bobby puts a box on his desk, and hands each of  them a small urn, which contain Ruth's ashes. Ruth continues "All of you now have a part of me, and Bobby will give each of you a list of instructions of what to do. Now I will always be with you, and around you, and always watching over you. I love you all, and we are one. And always remember that." The video ends, and Bobby pulls out the letters, as he hands each of them their letters, and everyone starts to cry, as they read Ruth's letters, and Beth sighs "This will be hard." Bobby tells her, as does Xavier "This will be hard on all of us."
   At Wallace's Corporate Headquarters, Mona sits in her office, as she gets off the phone with vendors, with  frustration on her face, as Desi walks inside. Mona looks at Desi and asks "So you're really leaving?" Desi looks at Mona and tells her "I just sold my home, and having everything sent to Unity. After I leave here, I'm hitting the road." Mona looks at Desi, and tells her friend "I will be alone here without you." Desi laughs "Unity isn't far away Mona. And I need to be near the one kid I give a damn about." Mona is taken back, as she asks "What do you mean by that Desi? Shouldn't you go and tell Rachel goodbye also? She is your Daughter." Desi tells Mona "I hate her. I regret giving birth to her. And I really wish Ava had killed her when she was in Sugar Creek." Mona rolls her eyes, as she shakes her head in disbelief, and goes "I'll be damned if my Sister wasn't right about you." Desi gets angry and asks "What? Are you now believing that self-righteous bitch?" Mona asks Desi "How could you hate your child? You owe her Desi. I read that book she wrote, and I was taken back by what she wrote. And you hate her?" Desi yells "Damn right I do Mona! She tried to destroy me. She only gives a damn about herself!" Mona stands up from her desk, and sternly tells her "You did it to her. I really had me fooled Desi. If I had a Daughter, and had what happened to Rachel, happen to her, I'd been there for her and supported her and killed the bastard that violated her. You were so damn wrapped up in yourself that you turned Rachel into who she is!" Desi snaps "Screw you! And if you give a shit about that disgusting whore, you play Mom to her. Michael is the only child I have as far as I'm concerned!" Mona quips "And he deserves what he's getting after his actions!" Desi looks at Mona, and shrieks "Everyone in this damn town destroyed him. He didn't do anything wrong Mona! Aretha Evans had it out for me. And she took it out on Michael!" Mona snaps "Bullshit! Michael took after the Barrs and it caught his ass! And I hope he stays in Unity Prison and rots!" Desi heads out, and laughs "You are being set up Mona. And we'll see if your Sister or her sorry ass family even comes to your rescue." Mona walks up to Desi, and slaps her forcefully, and shrieks at her "Good thing you are leaving town bitch." Desi sticks her nose up to Mona, and walks out, as Mona quips "Leigh was right about her. One selfish bitch."
   At Chantel's, Aretha and Eve sits at the bar, as they have a glass of wine, and Eve tells Aretha "This is a nice restaurant. And this wine is amazing." Aretha quips "Imported from Europe." Eve laughs for a moment, as Sayyid walks inside and joins them, and Eve asks Sayyid "So have you seen Andre?" Sayyid tells Eve "He's at Jazz right now. I've been watching him. You may have your work cut out for you." Eve takes a drink, and sighs "It's not going to be easy." Sayyid responds "I know it won't." Meanwhile, Tenny, Nathan, Rose, and Precious walks inside, and Sayyid notices them, and tells Eve "If you want to learn about Andre, there's the one to talk to." Eve sees Nathan, and runs up and yells "Nathan!" Nathan sees Eve, and they hug, as Nathan asks "What are you doing here?" Tenny looks at Eve, and is awestruck, as she goes "Eve Mathis! The Diva herself. Wow!" Eve looks at Tenny, and goes "You're Allan's Mother correct?" Tenny smiles, and responds "Yes I am, and I just love you. You have such a soulful voice, and I just love you Eve!" Eve tells Tenny "Ms.Sullivan, no need for flattery. Allan and I were good friends years ago?" Tenny quips "Did you sleep with him? I know he got around?" Nathan and Rose roll their eyes and Nathan snaps "Grandma! Eve and Allan never did that." Tenny walks away, as she mumbles "I wish he had." Tenny makes a phone call to Ciarra, as she's at Adam's Landing International Airport, and Ciarra tells her Sister "I just talked to Maria, and I'm heading out to the Ranch. Maybe Floyd will be there." Tenny replies "Be safe, and keep me posted." Ciarra tells her Sister, as she prepares to board the plane "I will Tennessee." Ciarra hangs up, and back at Nathan and Rose's table, Eve looks at Rose, and asks Nathan "So I see you got yourself a girlfriend?" Nathan responds "We're just friends. But who knows?" Rose is quiet, as she's in awe of being in Eve's presence, and Tenny walks back over, and tells Nathan "Ciarra's on her way to Texas. Hopefully your Grandpa will be there." Nathan tells his Grandmother "I hope so." Eve tells Nathan "I want to meet with you later. I won't intrude anymore." Nathan looks at Eve, and tells her "You are never intruding Eve. Just call me later and I'll show you my new office." Eve accepts as she heads back to the bar, and Tenny asks her Grandson "You just know all the greats don't you?" Nathan tells her, as Rose is quiet, reading her phone, "Eve Mathis is one of the smartest women in the music business, and we are very good friends."
   At City Hospital meanwhile, Clayton and Rachel walks inside Winston's room, as Terrance has taken him off life support, and Clayton yells at Terrance "Just what in the hell do you think you're doing?" Terrance tells him "For starters, Rachel isn't allowed in here, and Ava sent me a text to pull the plug." Clayton yells "The man has a brain tumor! He could die!" Terrance asks "And?" Clayton yells at Terrance "If my Father dies Dr.Evans, you will face my wrath!" Terrance looks at Clayton, and snarks "You should be more concerned with Ava. I'm just the doctor. And this old bastard's vitals are fine. But Ava's in charge, and the surgery will be very risky." Clayton warns Terrance "That brain tumor better be removed. And now!" Terrance gets frustrated, and tells Clayton "Only when Ava gives the call." Terrance walks out, and Rachel looks at Clayton, and tells him "She's going to kill him." Clayton pulls out his phone, and tells Rachel "Ava forgets one important thing, the Hales have power in Valley Ridge, and that's where he's going." Clayton makes a phone call, and then a second, and he and Rachel walks out. As they head down the hall, Clayton sees Terrance inside Olivia's room, as he checks on Olivia, and tells Rachel "I need you to do something for me." Rachel asks in a tone of excitement "And what would that be?" Clayton tells her "Find me a sucker who could disrupt things while I take care of my Father." Rachel heads off, as Clayton has an evil smile and says "It's not time yet Father. We have work to do."
   Meanwhile at Sully and Jared's Penthouse, Sully, Jared, Leigh, and Ruthie arrives, as Sully tells her Daughter "Here's your new home my sweet angel." Leigh tells her Daughter "It was quiet when we walked by Tenny's door. She's likely hanging out with that Rose girl." Sully looks at her Mother, and asks, as she hands Ruthie to Jared "You're not acting like yourself Mom. What's going on? I've heard you've been very moody lately from my employees at Class." Leigh asks her Daughter "What are you talking about Sully? I am fine. There's nothing wrong with me." Sully adds "And Daddy told me about this morning." Leigh assures her Daughter "I'm fine." Sully asks her Mother "Are you going through menopause Mom?" Leigh's eyes widen, as she slaps her Daughter across the face, and backs up, and walks out." Sully walks into the Bedroom, as Jared rocks Ruthie, and Sully tells her Husband "Daddy's right. Something's off with Mom. I think it's menopause." Jared tells his Wife "Your Mom is usually very quiet and calm. She's really changed since Ruthie was born." Jared puts Ruthie in her bassinet, and holds his Wife, and reminds her "Your Mom was a model and she's about to be hitting the runway again Sully. She will make it through. Don't take her behavior to heart." Sully sighs, and tells Jared "I think I'm calling Marco and have him return. He may be able to help her, I will need help Jared. I don't know if I can manage Class, and being here for Ruthie." Jared assures her, with a kiss "You are your Father's Daughter, and he raised you by himself, and managed a major business. If he can do it, you can too, and you also have me." Sully kisses Jared, and holds onto him, as they look at their Daughter, as Ruthie sleeps in her bassinet.
   At the Hell Hill burial plot, Bobby, Xavier, Beth, Frank, Ava, Cale, Bree, Andy, Mary, and Willie stands at B.R.'s grave, and they begin the first task of Ruth's list, as each of them sprinkle a few ashes each on B.R.'s and Jack's graves. Gracie and Xavier Jr hang onto their Grandmother, as Beth cries, as does everyone else, as they all join in a hug, and Mary tells them "This is my last visit home. Ruth told me to do one more thing in my letter before I leave, and I also have to visit Rose." Willie asks Mary "The old home place?" Mary looks at Willie and asks "Did Ruth tell you the same thing?" Willie nods, and Mary sighs "It's been years since I've been there." Willie tells her "I rarely venture to the mill village much. It's sad to see." Mary looks at Willie, and tells her "It was our homes, and Wilburn stayed in the family home until he passed away." Willie sighs with sadness "Our old home was torn down a few years ago when the highway expanded, but the oak tree still stands." Mary and Willie hugs everyone, as they honor Ruth's requests, as Frank looks at Xavier, Cale, Ava, Bree, and Andy, and tells them "Mama didn't surprise me. I knew she would want this." Cale tells his Father "I'll call and order a plaque for the front of FJR." Xavier tells them "Grandma wants Leigh and I to sprinkle a few ashes on the lover's rock." Beth looks at Ava, Bree, and Andy, and they all respond "Looks like we are heading down the hill." Andy tells them "She used to love to stand on the bank and watch the creek." Everyone sheds a tear, Bobby tells them "It's just a shame Floyd isn't here." Ava responds "He is very lost right now with what happened to Clair. Ciarra's leaving to find him. I told her he was likely in Texas." Frank tells his Sister "There or in a bar fight somewhere." Bobby holds Floyd's small urn, and says to everyone "I'll hold onto this until he returns. Ruth had something for him to do as well." Beth asks "What was it?" Bobby responds "It's only for Floyd to know." Bobby tells everyone "Now let's all go and do as Ruth would want us to do, and move on." Xavier calls for his kids, as Gracie and Xavier Jr follows their Father, and Beth, Ava, Bree, and Andy heads down the hill towards the creek. Frank and Cale heads towards The Farm, as Frank tells his Son "Let's hold off on your assignment until the plaque arrives." Cale agrees. Xavier returns to the Main House, where Leigh sits inside, and Xavier tells his Wife "Let's head down to the rock and do this." Leigh looks at her Husband, and starts to cry, as she runs upstairs, furthering scaring Xavier, and he tells Gracie and Xavier Jr "I think we will do this on our own."
   Meanwhile at Russell's Loft, Russell has notified Bree and Andy on Summer, and they reply "We'll be there shortly." Russell responds "That's understandable." Russell makes a phone call to Cass, as he seeks information on Jake, and Cass, at City Hospital, tells Russell "We have no leads so far." Russell tells him "Find them and do your damn job." Cass hangs up, as he sits in Terrance's office, and Terrance tells Cass "Unity will be the place to find Jake." Cass sighs "I know." Terrance looks at Cass, and asks him "So let's discuss something?" Cass asks Terrance "About last night?" Terrance nods and asks Cass "Would you like to go to Jazz with me and have a drink later?" Cass looks at Terrance, and asks him "How would people react Terrance? We're in the South." Terrance grabs Cass' hand, and tells him "Who gives a damn Cass. I have learned since coming home, that times has changed, and people are more receptive than they used to be." Cass looks at Terrance and tells him "I am just scared. People will think I'm weak if they know I'm gay." Terrance looks at Cass, and tells him "Who gives a shit Cass? I used to, but don't worry about it. If we're going on a date, you need to get over your insecurity. You are DA." Cass looks at Terrance, as they stare into each other's eyes intently."
   At Wallace's Corporate Headquarters, Clayton stands outside Mona's office, as he gets a text from Rachel, that says "In motion." At The Exposer, Aretha sits inside her office, as Sayyid asks his Niece "I wonder where Eve went?" Aretha tells her Uncle "We know how she is. She is dead set on telling Andre the truth, and I have a feeling she's at Jazz." Sayyid rolls his eyes, as does Aretha. Meanwhile at Tenny's Penthouse, Tenny, Nathan, and Precious sits in the living room, as Tenny tells her Grandson "Rose was more quiet than usual." Nathan tells her "Mary's leaving town today and maybe that's bothering her." Tenny lights up a joint, as Nathan lights up a blunt, and Tenny tells her Grandson "I have a feeling something else has disturbed her." At Jazz, Rose sits at the bar, as she orders a glass of crown, and she receives a text, and shivers in fear. Meanwhile Andre walks out towards the bar, as Rachel approaches him, and Andre tells Rachel "So Nathan kicked you to the curb?" Rachel laughs "I'm free and single Andre. I have a deal for you.    Meanwhile Mary and Willie arrives at the Love Home Place, where Mary and Ruth grew up, and Willie walks to the oak tree next door, where Willie's childhood home once stood, as she takes a few ashes, and sprinkles them around the tree, as Mary notices Ruth's hand print in the sidewalk, leading to the steps of the abandoned home, and Mary cries, as she takes some of her Sister's ashes and spreads them around the sidewalk, as she has a flashback (Flashback: A young Mary, Ruth, Wilburn, Merlin, and Willie puts their hands into the fresh concrete, as Mary and Ruth's Father lays down the concrete for the sidewalk, and Ruth writes into the concrete with a stick "We are one.) At The Farm, Frank walks inside The Greenhouse, and sheds a tear, as he puts his Mother's small urn in the middle of the greenhouse and says wistfully "Now you will always be surrounded with beauty Mama." At FJR, Cale walks inside the shop, and the Team Director tells him "Here's the plaque." Cale carries the plaque, made of gold, outside the front door of FJR, and sprinkles a few of his Grandmother's ashes in the flowerbed by the entry, and places the plaque on top, as he bends down and kisses the plaque, and says with tears in his eyes "I love you Grandma." At Hell Hill, Beth, Ava, Bree, and Andy stands on the creek bank, as they all look at each other, with tears in their eyes, as each takes a few ashes from their urns, and they walk down the bank, as they sprinkle the ashes in the creek, as Ava says somberly "Mama will now be everywhere. Her love will flow forever. Meanwhile on Lover's Rock, Xavier, with Gracie and Xavier Jr at his side, takes his small urn, and puts a few ashes in Gracie and Xavier Jr's hands, and tells them "Your Grandma Ruth loved the two of you very much." Gracie looks at her Father and says "I miss MaMa." Xavier contains his composure, as he, Gracie, and Xavier Jr sprinkle the ashes around the rock, and a calm comes over Xavier, Beth, Ava, Frank, Cale, Andy, Bree, Mary, and Willie, as they feel Ruth's presence, and they turn around, but only hear Ruth's voice, as she says "I'm at peace now."
 
 

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 239: The Last Wish

   It's the next morning in Adam's Landing, and at Hell Hill, Xavier sits inside the nursery, as Gracie and Xavier Jr plays, and he hears a cry in the bedroom, and he tells his Daughter and Son "Behave yourselves for a moment." Xavier walks into the bedroom, as Leigh sits on the edge of the bed and cries, and Xavier asks his Wife "What's wrong my love?" Xavier reaches out to Leigh, and she yells "Get the hell away from me!" Xavier is shocked, and asks Leigh "What's wrong?" Leigh yells at her Husband "Nothing X! Not a damn thing!" Xavier sits by Leigh's side, as he grows worried, and gently tells Leigh "Princess and Queenie are coming home today. I thought you could take Gracie and Xavier Jr over and..."Leigh screams at her Husband "I want to be alone Xavier! Just leave me the hell alone!" Xavier eases out of the bedroom, as he tries to figure out what's wrong with Leigh. He walks inside the Nursery, and tells Gracie and Xavier Jr "I guess you two will be going with me today. We're honoring Grandma Ruth." Xavier walks them down the stairs, as they head to Jackson Inc, as Leigh sits in the bed in the bedroom, as she screams "Damnit!"

   At Bobby's Home, Bobby walks out of his bedroom, as he smells breakfast, and asks Beth "This is too much." Beth looks at Bobby, and tells him "This is my way of saying thank you for being there for me." Bobby asks Beth "Did you let Xavier know where you are?" Beth tells him "I told him I was staying at Mama's. He doesn't need to know about this." Bobby is quiet, as he tells her "I don't think he'd have any issues Beth." Beth quips "He doesn't need to know a thing about us, until we know this is real Bobby. I am already fragile with all that's happened." Bobby holds Beth, and gently says "I know you are. Today will be hard, and you will have support." Beth looks at Bobby, and they kiss, as she tells him "You have really been my rock through all of this. But why?" Bobby tells her "Because I know you needed someone, and I care about you." Beth checks the stove, and tells Bobby "Let's have breakfast, and head down to Jackson Inc. You are pulling my heartstrings." Bobby tells Beth "You are an incredible woman Dr.Jackson." Beth flirtatiously tells Bobby "Now stop it!" Bobby quips "Ok boss." Beth and Bobby has breakfast, as they get ready to head to Jackson Inc.
   At The Farm, Frank stands inside the Greenhouse, as he looks around, and Cale walks inside, and Frank asks his Son "How's Olivia?" Cale tells his Father "She's still quite out of it. Allison's staying with her and Allan at the Hospital while we go down to Jackson Inc." Frank tells his Son "I think I'm going to rearrange some things in here, so Mama will always be watching over her flowers." Cale puts his arm around his Father, and tells him "I think she would be honored." Frank tells his Son "I think so too Cale. She loved this place, and she will be surrounded with beauty." Cale asks his Father "Ready to head down to Jackson Inc?" Frank looks at Cale, and says "As ready as I can Son." Frank and Cale heads out, as they too head to Jackson Inc.
   Meanwhile at The Evans Home, Willie sits in the living room, as Rashad asks his Grandmother "Where are you going? Did someone else pass away?" Willie tells her Grandson "The last part of Ruth's will is to be read today, and Mary's coming by shortly, and we're going together to the reading." Rashad tells his Grandmother "Mom took Little Sidney with her to the office today, and I think I'm heading down to FJR." Willie looks at Rashad, and tells him with a smile "You love the shop. Just like my Sidney." Rashad looks at his Grandmother, and tells her "I spend more time out back, looking at Grandpa's tools, and cars all the time." Willie hugs Rashad, and tells him "You know he would be so proud of you Rashad. I know I am. You are doing something he never got to do, and if he was here, he'd be at every race and giving Frank a hard time." Rashad laughs, as he asks "I heard Frank talk about Grandpa a lot." Willie reminisces "Before he got Alzheimer's, he'd go to FJR all the time and hang out. He loved being around race cars." Rashad sighs "So does Little Sidney." Willie tells her Grandson "I think he's going to keep the legacy alive. He already hums all the time now." Rashad laughs, as he hugs his Grandmother, as he hears Mary outside, and Willie tells her Grandson "When you go to Lafayette, I'm coming to watch." Rashad tells her "Come on then. Because we're going to win!" Rashad and Willie walks out, as Rashad heads to FJR, and Willie gets in the car with Mary, as they head to Jackson Inc.
   At City Hospital, Andy and Bree arrives, as they check on Summer, before they head to Jackson Inc. They walk inside, and notices Summer's dressed, and Bree asks her Sister "Are you being released?" Summer tells her Sister, and Cousin "I'm checking myself out. Daddy's here and he left to find out the latest with Jake." Bree looks at her Sister, and tells her "He showed up." Summer tells Bree "He's vowed to bring whoever kidnapped my little boy to justice, regardless of what happens." Andy assures Summer "I'm doing some investigating myself, and I have a lead." Summer looks at Bree and Andy, and says in a tone of suspicion "What do you know? I noticed the two of you were talking to Dr.Evans and you know something, so tell me!" Bree and Andy takes a deep breath, and Andy tells his Cousin "We think Dr.Faye Caswell kidnapped Jake. She has a record of instability, and Beth and Terrance both think she's the one." Summer yells "Why in the hell would she want my Son? Did Ava put up a bounty out of guilt?" Bree rolls her eyes, and sternly tells Summer "For the last time, Aunt Ava didn't have a thing to do with this Summer! You should thank her for stepping up to help. And you might want to thank your family also, Xavier, Uncle Frank, Aunt Beth, Aunt Mary, and Tenny and Ciarra Sullivan have all offered money for information on Jake! Be grateful! This family isn't as horrible as you think Summer. We do come together!" Summer is emotional, and starts to cry, as she asks "They are helping me?" Bree tells her Sister "Summer, Aretha Evans has offered money as well for information, and you have everyone supporting you." Summer cries, as she says "Wow. I can't believe it." Andy looks at Summer, and promises "When I head to Unity, I plan to watch Dr.Caswell very closely." Summer looks at Andy, and tells him "I'll be at Bree's when the two of you return from Jackson Inc. I'm going to Unity with you." Bree looks at her Sister, and advises her "Summer, you need to stay here, and let the State Police handle this and the family." Summer looks at Bree, and Andy, and tells them boldly "When Andy heads to Unity, I'll be with him. I'm going to get my Son, and that is a damn promise!" Bree and Andy heads out, as they head to Jackson Inc, as Summer gets ready, and heads to Russell's Loft.
   At Whispering Hills, Ava is on her way out, as Russell walks towards Ava, and Ava tells her Ex-Husband "Go to hell you bastard." Russell looks at Ava, and says "I'm not going to arrest you or anything. I'm here to thank you." Ava asks "Thank me for?" Russell takes a deep breath, as he says to Ava "I was very stunned that you would do what you did for my Daughter after the relationship the two of you have had." Ava looks at Russell, and tells him "I'm not the evil bitch people think I am. Summer, regardless of how she came to be, or who her Mother was, is my Niece, and her Son is missing. He's alive, and I want her to have him in her arms. I can't hold Jack now or hear his voice anymore. And all the money in the world couldn't bring him back." Russell looks at Ava, and tells her with regret in his voice "I am sorry about keeping you locked up while Ruth was dying." Ava tells Russell "We'll discuss all that when the time comes. I just want Jake to be with his Mother. Otherwise, we have nothing else to discuss." Ava gets in her car, as she drives off, and Russell stands, as he says to himself "I owe you Ava."
   Back at City Hospital, Sully, Jared, and Ruthie are ready to head home, as Terrance tells them "Everything's set." Terrance walks out, as Leigh arrives, and asks her Daughter "Ready to head home?" Sully asks her Mother "I thought Daddy was coming down here?" Leigh tells her Daughter "Remember today they finish Ruth's will. He's at Jackson Inc, with Gracie and Xavier Jr." Sully and Jared looks at Leigh, as she picks her Granddaughter up, and holds her, and the nurse arrives with the wheelchair, and Leigh hands Ruthie to Sully, as Sully, Jared, Ruthie, and Leigh heads out, as the nurse pushes Sully in the wheelchair, as she holds her son. They go past Summer's room, and notices the room empty, and Sully mentions "I hope they find Jake. Poor Summer." Leigh snaps "I don't know why in the hell your Father and the family have went to the rescue for that slut." Sully looks at her Mother, and asks "Mom, are you alright?" Leigh tells Sully "I'm fine.Let's just get the hell outta here."
   Meanwhile at Jackson Inc, Xavier, with Gracie and Xavier Jr in tow arrives, as Beth and Bobby arrives and looks at her Grandchildren and says to them "The two of you are growing up on me." Xavier asks his Mother "So how are you doing?" Beth looks at her Son, and sighs "I don't know how to answer that yet." Meanwhile Frank, Cale, Willie, Mary, Bree, Andy, and Ava arrives, and Bobby tells them "Let's go into my office and finish this up. This is the most important aspect of Ruth's will, and prepare yourselves. Everyone walks inside Bobby's office, and Bobby asks "Where's Floyd? He's supposed to be here?" Everyone grows worried, knowing about Clair's death, and they decide to precede without him. At Tenny's Penthouse, Tenny sits in the living room, as Nathan and Rose sits inside with Tenny, as they all smoke a blunt, and there's a knock at the door, and Tenny answers to find Ciarra, and Tenny notices sadness in her Sister's eyes, and asks "What is it?" Nathan also grows concerned, as he asks his Great-Aunt "What's wrong with Grandpa?" Ciarra pulls out a letter, and tells them "He left town. And he left his phone at the house. He's not taking things well. Tennessee, I am scared." Tenny holds Ciarra, and assures her "Floyd will return. Don't worry about that Baby Sister." Meanwhile Floyd drives down the interstate, as he is silent, with anger and hurt in his eyes, as he doesn't say a word, and pulls off on an exit, as he walks inside a bar. Once inside, he tells the bartender "Give me whiskey. The entire bottle." The bartender hands Floyd the bottle, and the glass, and Floyd throws the glass across the room, as he tells the Bartender "A glass won't help me." Meanwhile at Russell's Loft, Russell yells for his Daughter, and finds a letter laying on the coffee-table, and reads it, and vows "Whoever did this, they will answer to me!" Meanwhile Summer sits in her car, as she reaches the intersection, as she pulls onto the interstate, as she heads to Unity, as she glances over to the passenger seat. Back at Russell's Loft, Russell notices his Pistol is missing.
 

  

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 238. A Changing Wind

   As evening's fallen on Adam's Landing, at City Hospital, Beth walks inside Sully's room, as Sully and Jared finishes dinner, and Ruthie sleeps n her bed, by her Mother's side. Beth looks at her Granddaughter, and asks "Who brought you La Trattotia and didn't bring me any?" Sully quips "Aunt Ava did earlier when she stopped by." Beth smiles, and tells her Granddaughter, as she picks up her Great-Granddaughter "This sweet little girl was the exact thing our family needed." Sully smiles, and says with content in her voice "I think so too Grandma." Jared meanwhile asks Beth "We heard about Summer's Son. Who kidnapped him? And how did they make it out of City Hospital with him?" Beth takes a deep breath, and tells them "I think it was that new Doctor. Unity General was supposed to send Dr.Casey Ryan here, but instead Dr.Caswell.." Jared looks at Beth and goes "Faye Caswell?" Beth nods and sighs "That's the whack." Jared shakes his head, as he tells Beth and Sully "I was raised in Unity, and Dr.Faye was my Mom's Doctor. She best hope I don't see her." Beth and Sully looks at Jared, and Beth puts Ruthie back in her bed, and asks Jared "What do you know about Dr.Caswell?" Jared looks at his Wife, as Sully holds his hand, and Jared tells them "She had me taken from my Mom, after she declared her insane. But Mom wasn't crazy, she had her visions, and Dr.Caswell doped my Mom up, and then had me taken from her. That was how I learned about the Hales." Sully looks at her Husband, with shock, and tells her Husband "You never told me that before Jared." Jared looks at Sully, and says calmly with anger in his voice "It was something I really hoped I'd never have to relive again." Beth tells them "Well she will answer for this, and the hell she's caused this hospital, and I will make damn sure of it." Beth hugs Sully, Jared, and kisses Ruthie, as she tells them "I'm heading to meet with Bobby. Call me if you need me." Sully nods, and asks "Are you and Bobby dating Grandma?" Beth looks at Sully, and whispers "Maybe." Beth walks out, as she heads to meet with Bobby at Chantel's.
   In Summer's Room, Terrance walks inside, as Summer sobs uncontrollably, as Bree and Andy comforts Summer, and assures her "Jake will be found Summer. Cass' is on his way over, and we're going to find him." Terrance tells Summer "I think I may know who kidnapped him, but I'm not certain. Beth and I have our suspicions." Andy motions to Terrance, as Andy walks out of the room, as Terrance follows, as Bree consoles Summer, and once outside, Andy asks Terrance "So who's your suspect?" Terrance tells Andy "We checked the security footage, and it was erased, and Olivia North was attacked in her office. There's a doctor here that I've been monitoring closely." Andy asks "And who is it?" Terrance tells him "Dr.Faye Caswell, from Unity." Andy goes "Lynn Caswell's Wife?" Terrance responds "Yep. I'm not a P.I.." Andy tells him "Clair was killed, and Olivia was attacked, and odds are she reads The Exposer." Terrance looks at Andy, and tells him "It makes you wonder doesn't it?" Andy replies "I have heard she has issues." Terrance tells him "Oh she does." Cass arrives, as he's overheard Terrance and Andy, and asks "Faye Caswell?" She has motive, but why would she kidnap a baby?" Terrance and Andy tells him "That's what we would like to know. Why."
   Meanwhile at Chantel's, Bobby waits for Beth, as Paul arrives, and Bobby tells his Son "I went to talk to Summer." Paul asks his Father "Why would you do that? I told you who Jake's Father was?" Bobby tells Paul "I wanted to know more about Clayton Hale. She denied knowing him." Paul tells him "She may be telling you the truth Dad. He uses aliases from time to time." Bobby looks at Paul, and asks him "Did you hear that Jake was kidnapped from City Hospital?" Paul is blown away, and goes "What! Ava..." Bobby stops his Son, and tells him sternly "Ava wouldn't kidnap a child Paul. I know that for a fact." Paul reminds him "She was trying to kill Summer before? Tell me why she wouldn't try to do something like this?" Bobby tells his Son "Paul, I know Ava Jackson, and her family. Junior would have done something like this, but Ava, even with her history, wouldn't kidnap Jake." Paul looks at his Father, and tells him "I don't understand why you are so fast to defend Summer's family, but Ava Jackson's a damn psychopath, and needs to be locked in a padded room." Paul walks off, as Bobby shakes his head, and pulls out his phone, as he sends a text to Xavier, Ava, Frank, Bree, Cale, Andy, Floyd, Mary, and Willie, and texts "Meet me tomorrow. The last part of Ruth's wishes will be fulfilled."
  At The Sunset Club, Mary sits in her suite, as she begins to pack up to head home to Unity, as Rose knocks on the door." Mary answers and Rose asks "So you're leaving tomorrow?" Mary looks at her Granddaughter, and says "I have one more thing to do here, and then I'm going back home. Your Paw is regaining his memory. He asked about his flower when I spoke to him earlier." Rose cries, as she asks "He called me his flower? Wow, I haven't heard that in so long." Mary smiles, and holds her Granddaughter, as she tells Rose "The Lord works miracles my sweetie, and maybe you can get close to your Mom and Dad again." Rose looks at her Grandmother, and tells her "Maw, I am done with them. I miss my Sister, and Ms.Gore, and Paw, but I have nothing else in Unity." Mary looks at Rose, and tells her "Please try to take care of yourself Rose, and be careful. I'm always here for you, and remember that you have a place to come to if things get hectic here." Rose hugs her Grandmother, and cries "I'm going to miss you Maw. I've loved having you here." Mary starts to cry, as she tells Rose "You've been my rock since I've been here. Just always trust your heart my flower." Rose hugs her Grandmother, as she tells her "I'm heading to check on Nathan. He's having a hard time with his Mom's death." Mary looks at Rose, and asks her "Are the two of you falling in love?" Rose sighs "We're only friends Maw." Mary tells her Granddaughter "Rose Caswell, I know love when I see it. You like him, and he likes you. Take your time." Rose looks at her Grandmother, and says "Most definitely." Rose walks out, as Mary continues to pack, and her phone rings, as it's Lynn, and he tells his Mother "I'm on the road. I'm about to redeem myself." Mary tells her Son "I hope you can. I'm here for you if you need me." Lynn hangs up, as he's on the interstate, as Faye sits in the backseat, with Jake, and Faye tells her Husband "Now we have the Son we always wanted." Lynn tells her "This is going to backfire, and enjoy the peace while it lasts. The Jacksons will be gunning for us once they find out." Faye laughs "Oh no they won't. I can handle them." Lynn rolls his eyes, as he drives down the interstate, as Lynn, Faye, and Jake heads home to Unity.
   Meanwhile at The Evans Home, Aretha and Eve walks inside, as Willie and Sayyid plays blackjack, and Willie tells her Brother "21." Sayyid rolls his eyes, and turns around, as he sees Eve, and greets her with a hug, and asks "So I heard you were here?" Willie hugs Eve, and tells her "Your room is set up. I know it's not what you are accustomed to..." Eve stops Willie, and says "Ms.Evans, I am more than honored to stay here. I need all the support I can get when I tell Andre." Sayyid, Aretha, and Willie assures Eve "We all have your back Eve. You won't be alone in this." Eve gets emotional, as she tells them "Thank you all very much. River told me he had some things to do back home, so I'm unsure when he'll arrive, and I've cancelled my tour so I can be around for Andre, and River." Meanwhile Rashad and Little Sidney walks inside, as Willie asks Rashad "Where did the two of you go?" Rashad tells his Grandmother "We went over to see Cale and Allison, but they weren't home." Willie mentions "Allison's Mama was attacked at City Hospital today. They are probably there." Rashad responds "They are." Aretha grabs her Grandson, as Rashad notices Eve, and goes "Eve?" Eve looks at Rashad, and quips "Damn! You were a baby when I last saw you. And now you racing cars and all that. Daredevil." Eve hugs Rashad, and Sayyid tells everyone "I'm going to say my evening prayers, and call it a day." Sayyid heads upstairs, and Aretha tells Eve, as Aretha holds Little Sidney "I'm a Nana now. Meet my Grandson." Eve quips "You post him on Facespace all the time!" Aretha smiles, as Eve gushes over him, and Willie tells them "Now my turn to gush. Someone's bedtime." Willie takes her Great-Grandson upstairs, as Rashad follows, as Willie tells him "Let your Mama and Eve have some girl time." Rashad follows Willie. Once Willie, Rashad, and Little Sidney heads upstairs, Eve asks Aretha "Have you told him?" Aretha asks "About River?" Eve nods, and Aretha tells her friend "He doesn't know." Eve asks "How did he take it when he found out about Tyrone?" Aretha tells Eve "He wasn't angry or upset. Once River learns who Tyrone was, it shouldn't bother him." Eve looks at Aretha, and tells her "Well I lose either way. Because when River finds out, and Andre finds out, I'm screwed girl." Aretha hugs Eve, and assures her "You have us. That's the main thing. You have some support." Eve cries "Thank you." Aretha humbly responds "You and I have always been tight, and we always will."
   Meanwhile at City Hospital, Olivia's in her room, as Allan, Allison,  and Cale are there, and Olivia looks at them and says "I can't remember nothing. I don't remember.." Allan gently tells Olivia "You are just lucky you survived." Allison looks at her Mother, and assures her "The one behind this will pay Mom." Cale also agrees, as does Allan, as Olivia yawns, and Allan tells her "Rest up baby." Allan kisses Olivia, and tells Allison and Cale to walk outside. Out in the hallway, Allison looks at her Father, as she holds onto her Husband, and angrily asks "Why in the hell would somebody attack my Mom? Could Desi be this cold?" Allan tells his Daughter "Desi's capable of anything, but Beth and Terrance thinks it's Dr.Caswell." Cale and Allison both ask "Who's Dr.Caswell?" Allan tells them "She's Lynn Caswell's Wife, and Big Sis mentioned she has some issues." Cale responds "She sounds like she's crazy?" Allan quips "Beth said she was a has a history." Allison tells her Father and Husband "If I see her, her ass is mine. She won't get away either!" Allan hugs his Daughter, and tells her "You're damn right Allison. And she will get hers." Allan tells Allison and Cale "The two of you go to your new home and rest. Olivia needs some quiet, and I'll update you if anything changes." Allison hugs her Father, as she and Cale heads off, and Allan walks back inside Olivia's room, as she sleeps, and Allan says to her "We'll find who did this to you. And they will regret this." Allan kisses Olivia, as he sits down by the bed, and goes to sleep.
   In Sully's Room, Sully gets off the phone with her Father, as the OBGYN walks inside, and tells Sully and Jared "The two of you can head home with Ruthie tomorrow. Everything's perfect." Sully responds "That's great. I can't wait to be back home." Jared adds "That makes two of us." Ruthie starts to cry, and the OBGYN quips "And apparently three." All share a laugh, as the OBGYN takes Ruthie back to the nursery, and tells Sully and Jared "The two of you rest up." The OBGYN and Ruthie heads off, as Jared asks his Wife "What did Xavier say?" Sully looks at her Husband, and tells him to turn on the TV, and both are stunned, as the newscaster announces "An Amber Alert has been issued for Jake Russell Marx, Great-Grandson of B.R.and Ruth Jackson, and Daughter of Summer Marx. A $1,000,000 award has been offered for Jake's safe return by Ava Jackson, Summer's Aunt." Sully and Jared stare and look at each other, as Sully asks her Husband "Did hell just freeze?"
   In Summer's Room, Bree and Andy returns to Summer's side, as they tell her "Cass is gathering a search party, and someone posted an award for Jake's return." Summer cries "I want my little boy. I want him." Bree looks at Summer, and promises "You will have him really soon Summer. I have a feeling he will be back here in no time." Summer asks her Sister and Cousin "Who posted the award?" Bree looks at Summer, and Andy, and Ava walks inside Summer's room, and tells her Niece "I did." Summer screams "Get the hell out of here you crazy bitch!" Ava tells Summer "I heard about Jake, and although I don't like you, we are family, and when it comes to times like this, we bond together. You will find Jake." Summer looks at Ava, and goes "What's the catch?" Ava looks at Summer, and simply tells her "No Mom deserves to be without their child Summer." Ava walks out, as Bree follows, and asks her Aunt "What made you do that Aunt Ava?" Ava looks at Bree, and Andy, as he walks outside, and tells both of them "I wish a million dollars could bring back my Son, but it won't happen, and I don't want to see someone suffer like I do. Jake's alive, and he needs his Mom, and his Mom needs him. I need to go make sure Winston's secure, and I'm heading home. Tomorrow will be the hardest day." Bree and Andy both responds "It will." Ava hugs her Niece and Nephew, as she walks towards Terrance's office, and Bree and Andy returns to Summer's side, as she cries for Jake.
   At Chantel's Beth sits with Bobby, as they have dinner and they've discussed Ruth's last wish, and Beth tells Bobby "I still can't believe she's gone." Bobby asks Beth, in a concerned tone "Are you heading back to Hell Hill? You need to rest." Beth looks at Bobby, and tells him "I can't. I haven't been home since finding Ruth.." Beth begins to get emotional, and Bobby gently tells Beth "You have to return. Your Grandchildren are there, Xavier, Leigh." Beth nods, and says "I know, but I'm not ready yet." Bobby asks her "So where are you going to stay then? Beth you need to rest up." Beth tells him "I'm going to stay in one of the empty rooms at the hospital." Bobby grabs Beth's hand, and tells her "You will not. You'll come home with me Beth. You can't give me no for an answer either. I told you I'd take care of you, and I am going to do as I promised." Beth looks at Bobby, and tells him "Ok then, you win." Beth and Bobby heads off to his home, as Bobby has his arm around Beth.
  Meanwhile at The Sunset Club, In Rachel's Suite, Clayton lays in the bed, as Rachel looks over at him, and strokes his chest, and asks "Did you enjoy that?" Clayton responds "Why yes I did. Very much." Rachel asks him "So do you want to team up on Ava, and bring the bitch down?" Clayton gets on top of Rachel, as he whispers "Don't forget my Father. And Ava's Family. I'm going to take Adam's Landing over." Rachel seductively responds "No, we are." Clayton and Rachel kiss, as they have sex. Down the hall, Nathan returns to his room, as Rose sits inside, and Nathan asks her "Why are you here?" Rose tells Nathan "I need someone." Nathan asks "What happened?" Rose cries "Maw's heading home tomorrow. How are you?" Nathan looks at Rose, and cries "I miss my Mom. I talked to Grandpa, and he's really having a hard time, and it's weird to know she's not here now." Rose hugs Nathan, and reminds him "At least you have a family to turn to. All I have is Maw and Paw, and my Sister." Nathan looks at Rose, and touches her face softly, and says "You have me." Rose kisses Nathan, as they lay on his bed, as they hold each other tightly.
  Back at City Hospital, Sully and Jared lays together in her bed, as they sleep. In Summer's Room, Andy has left, as has Bree, as Summer has requested some time alone. Someone walks inside, and Summer looks up, and cries "Daddy!" Russell looks at his Daughter, and tells her "I'm here now. And my Grandson will be found." Russell hugs his Daughter, as he sits at her bedside. Outside, Paul stands in front of Summer's room, and hears Russell, and turns around and leaves, as he feels sadness for Summer, and vows "Jake, you will be found." Meanwhile, Ava talks to herself, as she walks towards Terrance's office, as she says "Try to visit now Clayton. You bastard." Ava arrives at Terrance's office, and overhears Terrance and Cass talking, and Ava says to herself "Wow!" At Bobby's Home, Beth settles in, as Bobby tells Beth, you can stay in the guest room, or on the couch. My home is yours." Beth looks at Bobby, and Bobby looks at Beth, as she says "I don't want to be alone." Bobby kisses Beth, as they head to his bedroom."
 
 

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 237. Comfort And Distress

   At City Hospital, Allan gently shakes Olivia, as she's knocked out, and Allan frantically yells "Help! Someone Help!" Beth and Terrance hears Allan, as they are walking down the hall, and rushes inside, as Beth and Terrance rushes to Olivia's aid, and Beth pulls out the syringe, and stares at Terrance, as he calls for backup." Allan asks his Sister, in a scared tone "What was it?" Beth looks at her Brother, and assures him "She's fine, but she's been shot up with liquid morphine. She is damn lucky." The nurses rushes inside, with the stretcher, as Beth. Terrance, and Allan follows Olivia, as she's put on the stretcher and taken to a room, as Beth admits her.
  In Sully's Room, the nurse brings Ruthie back inside, and Xavier and Leigh asks their Daughter and Son In Law "Do you guys need anything?" Sully tells her Parents "I'm fine since my little girl is here." Xavier hugs his Daughter, and picks up his Granddaughter, and gently tells her, as he kisses Ruthie on the top of her head "Papaw loves his Queenie." Leigh also holds her Granddaughter, and kisses her, and they tell Sully and Jared 'We're going to check on the other two. Gracie and Xavier Jr must be getting mad about now." Sully laughs, as Xavier and Leigh walks out, and Sully and Jared looks at Ruthie, as Sully holds her in her arms, and tells her Husband, with tears in her eyes "I now feel complete. I've got a great Husband, and this little part of our love." Jared humbly tells his Wife "I'm married to the most amazing woman in the world." Sully and Jared kiss, as they hold their Daughter.
   In Summer's Room, Summer lays in the bed, as Bobby walks inside, and Summer looks at him and tells him "You can leave if you are here to sing Ava's Praises!" Bobby asks Summer "Where's my Grandson?" Summer responds "What Grandson? I know Paul told you about it." Bobby answers "Yes he did tell me about it, but I'm interested in Clayton Hale." Summer asks Bobby "Who's Clayton Hale?" Bobby tells her "You should know. You had his Son." Summer looks at Bobby for a moment, with shock in her eyes, and says to him "I have no idea who Clayton Hale is?" Bobby looks up, and sighs "Ok then, how did you meet the man that had your Son?" Summer tells Bobby, as she grows frustrated "I don't even know who Jake's Father is." Summer warns Bobby "Now get out of here before I have you thrown out." Bobby looks at Summer, and reminds her "I am an attorney Summer. And I know when someone's hiding something." Bobby walks out, as Sully pages for the nurse, and Bree walks inside Summer's Room, and Summer tells her Sister "Take me down to see my little boy." Bree heads to get a wheelchair from the nurse's station, and overhears the nurses and immediately, Bree grows with fear, as she asks "What about my Nephew?" The nurse looks at Bree, and tells her "He's missing." Bree has a look of horror, and asks "Who kidnapped Jake?" The nurse replies "I don't know Ms.Corbin." Bree warns them "I'll find out, and I'll make sure all of you pay for not keeping a better eye on my nephew. My family owns this Hospital, and they won't be very pleased, especially my Aunt Beth." Bree storms back to Summer's room, as she struggles with how to break the news to Summer about Jake.
    Meanwhile in Winston's Room, Winston is still in his coma, as Ava stands over his bed, and laughs "I think you're about to set a record for the longest time you've kept your damn mouth shut. I'm not sure I want you to wake. Maybe time to pull the plug." Clayton walks inside his Father's Room, and tells Ava "Don't even think about it you sociopath!" Ava turns around, and looks at Clayton, and asks "And who in the hell are you?" Clayton snarls "I'm Winston's Son. And you must be that psycho he married years ago." Ava looks at Clayton, and goes "Clayton. I heard about you. Are you warm?" Ava pulls out her cigarette lighter, and flicks  it, and Clayton asks Ava "What are you going to do? Set me on fire?" Ava winks at Clayton, and walks up to him, and says in a calm tone "Your Father is a despicable bastard. And I don't have any gasoline. But you don't want to tempt me." Clayton looks at Ava, and tells her coldly "I'm about to tempt you, and the bastard that killed my Mother. It comes back Ava, and it's here." Ava is silent, as she shakes, as she flashes back to the bloodbath at Class, where Sully was shot, and Jack was killed, and Ava's eyes turn red, as she warns Clayton "I have nothing to lose now, and I am telling you right now Clayton Hale, if you dare try to hurt my family, I'll pull this plug and Winston will be in hell where he belongs, and don't think for one second, I won't do it." Clayton walks out, and says "I'm watching you, and your family. Two can play this game." Clayton disappears, and Ava looks at Winston, and quips "You put on an act this entire time. And you are going to deeply regret it."
   At Floyd and Ciarra's Home at Whispering Hills, Floyd sits in the kitchen, as he drinks a jar of moonshine, with hurt, and anger on his face, as Ciarra and Tenny walks inside, and Floyd looks at Tenny, and bluntly tells her "Don't say one damn word about my Daughter! She's dead and I don't want to hear a damn bad word about her Tenny!" Ciarra asks her Husband, as she's worried "What's wrong with Clair?" Floyd yells "She was killed Ciarra! Some son of a bitch killed her!" Ciarra rushes over to Floyd, and holds him, as he tells his Wife "I wasn't the greatest Father in the world, but I loved Clair, even if she was like she was. And I swear up and down that Lynn Caswell had something to do with this." Tenny looks at her Sister, and Brother In Law, and tells them "I think I'm heading back to the Penthouse and check on Precious. I'll give the two of you some time alone." Tenny leaves, as Ciarra looks at her Husband, and Floyd tells his Wife, with rage in his tone "Clair didn't deserve to die like that! But I will make damn sure on my Brothers grave, that the bastard that did this will die one horrible death!" Ciarra's quiet, as she hugs her Husband, and gently tells him "It's ok Floyd. It's ok to mourn." Floyd looks at Ciarra, as he begins to cry, and Ciarra quietly holds her Husband, as Ciarra's heart aches for him.
   Meanwhile at La Sante Fe, Sayyid, Aretha, and Willie has dinner, as Aretha and Sayyid fill Willie in on what they uncovered, and Willie looks at her Brother, and asks "Clem, do you have a Son out there that you forgotten about?" Sayyid tells Willie "He's not my Son. He's my Grandson. Keith and Eve Mathis had a relationship when he was working with her, when she was getting started, and she got pregnant, and Feldman wasn't happy, and Keith told Eve to give the kid up for adoption. Had she not, then her career would have been over." Aretha adds "She never gotten over that. We have talked about it many times. I can't wait to tell her that he's been found." Willie asks her Daughter "What about Keith?" How does he feel?" Sayyid looks at his Sister, and responds "I called him, but he's in Pittman at a show and didn't answer my call. Andre needs to know who his parents are." Willie looks at her Brother, and tells him "Clem, I hope you remember I do know when you're hiding something." Sayyid looks at his Sister, and Niece, and tells them "I took Andre to the Parks family in South Central. I wanted him to be with some good people with morals and I'd keep up with him until I was sent to Prison after the riots broke out. Afterwards I lost touch. I knew the moment I seen him the other day, he was my Grandson." Aretha assures her Uncle "It's going to be hard for him when he finds out. I told Eve to not expect a fairy tale reunion." Sayyid vows "I fully intend to be a part of my Grandson's life, and try my damn-est to help him get on the right path." Willie grabs her Brother's hand, and tells him "I'll help you too Clem. I'll welcome Andre into our family with open arms, and teach him blackjack." The mood is lightened for a moment, as Aretha and Sayyid both tell Willie "He may be your competition." Willie mumbles "Um Hum. We'll see." Aretha's phone rings, as she tells them "I have to go down to The Exposer. Eve has arrived in town." Aretha heads out, and Willie assures her Brother "Andre will have all of us Clem. And so will you." Sayyid tells his Sister "He could use it. And I could as well."
   Down at The Sunset Club, Mary walks downstairs from her Suite, as her phone rings, and she answers it and the voice on the other line says "Popper misses his Wife." Mary is stunned, as she goes "Miles? You haven't said that in so long." Miles, in Unity, tells his Wife "My memory's returning and our girls are doing one fine job taking care of me." Mary starts to cry, as she asks Miles "So did Hazel dial my number?" Miles tells his Wife "Mama, I remembered it. I even drove today to the chapel and checked on things." Mary cries with joy "Praise God. Miles this is a miracle." Miles tells his Wife "It surely is Mama. It surely is. Now come home." Mary tells him "I'll be heading back home in a few days Popper. Rose's in town and we have some investigating to do when I return." Miles tells Mary "We certainly do Mary." Miles tells his Wife "I love you, and tell my flower Paw loves her." Mary responds "I sure will Popper. I love you." Miles responds "I love you too Mama." Mary hangs up, as she's overwhelmed and sits down at her table, and orders dinner, and prays "God please give me the answers we need. And thank you for bringing my Husband back to me." Lynn meanwhile watches on, with fear, as he returns to his Suite.
   Meanwhile at Tenny's Penthouse, as Gracie and Xavier Jr sleeps in Tenny's bed, Nathan and Rose smokes a blunt together, as Leigh and Xavier walks inside, and Leigh yells "What in the hell do the two of you think you're doing?" Xavier has a look of disdain, as Leigh explodes on Nathan and Rose, yelling "Smoking marijuana around my kids? What in the hell's wrong with you?" Nathan stands up, and tells them "I lit it. I'm so lost right now with Mom's death.." Xavier tells his Cousin "I understand Nathan, but my children are here. Although my Mother, Grandmother, and Uncle smokes weed, I don't want it around my kids." Leigh meanwhile slaps Rose, and yells "You have no damn reason to ever be around children you irresponsible, stupid ass trash!" Leigh storms into Tenny's bedroom, and wakes up Gracie and Xavier Jr, as Xavier meanwhile tells Nathan and Rose "If I ever see this again, both of you will learn why people fear me!" The door opens, as Tenny walks inside, and asks Rose, as she smells marijuana "Did you just smoke in here?" Rose nods, as Nathan has a look of guilt, and tells everyone "I'm going to leave." Tenny tells her Grandson and Rose "The two of you will be here for awhile! I have no problems with marijuana, but when it's around Gracie and Xavier Jr, then I have a problem with it." Leigh meanwhile walks out, holding Gracie, as she holds Xavier Jr's hand, and warns Rose "I don't ever ever want you around my children again. I sure hope you never have a child. You're too damn immature!" Rose gets angry and yells at Leigh, and snaps "Well you don't have to be such an uppity bitch either Mrs.Jackson." Leigh hands Gracie to Xavier, and walks over to Rose, and angrily snarls "I don't want my kids around drugs, and they won't be! And if you ever talk to me like that again, I'll tear your ass into bits and pieces like a damn jigsaw!" Leigh yells at her Husband "Let's go X!" Xavier, Leigh, Gracie, and Xavier Jr heads out, as Rose asks Tenny "So are you going to chew me out also?" Tenny tells her "No. But don't do it again." Tenny hugs Nathan, and tells him "I'm truly sorry about Clair." Nathan thanks his Grandmother, and Tenny lights up a joint, as Precious runs out of his room, and Tenny tells them "Something was off with Leigh. She's usually level-headed." Nathan is quiet, as Rose tells Tenny "I don't like her." Tenny looks at Rose, and tells her "She's been through hell over the years, so if you want to stay on my good side, then don't start talking bad about Leigh."
   Back at City Hospital, Andy returns, and Bree stands outside Summer's Room, and Andy asks his Cousin "What's with the face?" Bree looks at Andy, and tells him "Jake is missing. I just called the ALPD, and they are issuing an Amber Alert on him." Andy asks Bree "Does Summer know?" Bree, taking a deep breath, responds "No she doesn't. I'm trying to figure out how to tell her about this." Andy tells his Cousin "Who would want to kidnap Jake? I mean I know Summer has her enemies. Do you think?" Bree quickly responds "I know Ava wouldn't do something like this. Aunt Ava has her issues, but she wouldn't kidnap a child." Andy agrees, as they look at each other, and walks inside Summer's Room, to break the news, as Summer doesn't know yet.
   In Sully's Room, Sully is awake, as she holds Ruthie, and Ava walks inside, and tells Sully and Jared "I have something for you guys." Ava brings a pizza inside from La Trattoria, and Sully tells her Aunt "Thank you Aunt Ava!" Ava quips "I know hospital food isn't that great, so I was hungry, and figured the two of you were too." Sully and Jared eats, as Ava holds her Great-Niece and tells Ruthie, with tears in her eyes "You are so cute. I'm going to spoil you to no end Ruthie." Sully and Jared smiles, as they notice the spark in Ava's eyes, and Ava tells her Niece "Mama would be so honored that this little girl has her name." Sully tells her Aunt "She has an angel watching over her. I know Grandma's in heaven right now and she'll always protect her." Ava looks at Sully, and tells her in a gentle tone, as she plays with Ruthie "Yes Sully, Mama will be watching over her. If she was here, you couldn't pry her away. She'd be so touched." Jared asks Ava "How's my Grandfather?" Ava responds "In a coma still. I'd like to just pull the damn plug. But someone's in town now that I never dreamed to see, and it's not good." Jared asks "Who?" Ava tells Jared "Clayton Hale." Jared is taken back, as he goes "Shit. If Clayton's in town, it's a given he's here for something." Ava tells him, as Sully quietly listens, as Ava hands her Ruthie, "The thing is, what is Clayton after?"
   Meanwhile at Chantel's, Clayton sits at the bar, as he takes a drink of liquor, and Rachel sits next to Clayton and asks "Who might you be?" Clayton turns around, and says "I read your book. It seems we have the same agenda." Rachel asks "So have you been wronged by Ava and her crazy ass family?" Clayton slyly says "To say the least, I'm here to deliver a gift to them." Rachel smiles, as she tells him "I'll help you, but who are you?" Clayton grabs Rachel's hand, and smiles "The Jackson Family's worst nightmare." Rachel gets turned on, and says "I love that." Clayton asks Rachel "Care to go back to my Suite and have a drink?" Rachel accepts, as she and Clayton heads out. Unknown to them, Bobby watches on in the background, as he says to himself "Or so you think you son of a bitch."
  At The Evans Home, Willie and Sayyid sits in the living room, as Rashad and Little Sidney walks inside, and asks his Grandma and Great-Uncle "What's going on?" Willie tells her Grandson "We have a new member of the family Rashad." Meanwhile at The Exposer, Aretha walks inside her office, as Eve Mathis sits at Aretha's desk, and asks Aretha "So you found my Son?" Aretha tells her longtime friend "Yes. He's in Adam's Landing, and Clem also knows." Eve looks at Aretha, and tells her "I want to see him. He needs to understand my reasons for why I gave him up." Aretha reminds her "You also have River, and when Andre learns about him, it's not going to be easy for him to accept." Eve sighs "I know Aretha. But I owe Andre, and I intend to make it up to him the best way I know how." Eve changes subjects, and asks Aretha "So is Tyrone truly dead?" Aretha responds "Yes. Xavier and Uncle Clem killed him." Eve takes a deep breath, and says "Well then, it's time River finds out about his Father." Aretha tells Eve "It's also time that he meets his Brother and Nephew also." Aretha agrees, and Eve pulls out her phone and texts her Son, River Mathis, who's in Sugar Creek, and tells her Son "Come to Adam's Landing! ASAP! It's time for me to tell you something."
   Back at City Hospital, Olivia begins to wake up, as Allan, Cale, Allison, and Beth stands by her side, and Terrance walks inside, as Allan asks Olivia "Do you remember anything Olivia? Who did this to you?" Olivia looks around, as she's disoriented, and slurs "I can't remember." Terrance motions for Beth to walk outside, and Beth follows Terrance into the hallway, as he tells her "Summer's Baby has been kidnapped." Beth asks "Who did it?" Terrance tells her "Our security cameras were shut off. But I think it's that doctor." Beth looks at Terrance, and asks him "Who in the hell is she?" Terrance tells her, and Beth calmly, and angrily tells him "Unity General told me they were sending a Doctor to Adam's Landing, but she wasn't it. I told the Chief Of Staff that she wasn't to be sent here." Terrance sighs "Well they didn't get the message." Beth vows "That place is so mismanaged and that Chief Of Staff is a real idiot. I will be calling the Medical Board on this one." Terrance tells Beth "Sounds like you are staying with us?" Beth answers "Looks like it. And the Medical Board owes me a few favors."
   In Summer's Room, Andy and Bree walks inside Summer's Room, and Summer asks her Sister "Where's Jake?" Bree has a look of dread in her eyes, as Andy walks over and holds Summer's hand, and Summer begins to panic, and asks "Ava didn't kill my Son did she? She didn't harm Jake?" Bree looks up, takes a deep breath, and tells Summer "First off, calm down. Jake has been kidnapped and Aunt Ava's hands are clean." Summer breaks down in tears, and asks "Who would have kidnapped my little boy?" Bree tells her Sister "That's what I'm going to find out, and Beth knows, and I've got the ALPD on it. Summer we will find him, and he will be found safe, and alive." Summer cries, as Bree and Andy console her. At The Sunset Club, Lynn walks inside his Suite, as the door's unlocked, and he hears a cry, and The Doctor looks at Lynn, and tells him "Maybe now you can be happy. We have a Son." Lynn goes, as he's shocked "Faye! What have you done?" Dr.Faye Caswell, Lynn's Wife and Rose's Mother, holding Jake, tells her Husband "I am restarting our happy family. Since Rose is such a disgrace, here's our replacement."
 

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 236. Triumphs And Agony

   At City Hospital, Sully and Summer have been carried to their rooms in the Maternity Ward. In Sully's room, Sully holds her Daughter in her arms, as Jared sits by his Wife's side, with his face beaming with joy. Xavier, Leigh, Beth, Ava, Tenny, and Ciarra stands inside, as they all have a smile on their faces, and Beth tells her Granddaughter "I'm so proud of you sweetie. This warms my heart so much. Ruthie was what I needed." Xavier tells his Mother, as he holds her hand "Mother, this is all you need to help you move forward after losing Grandma." Beth looks at Sully and Ruthie, and tells her Son "I think you're right Xavier."

   In Summer's Room, Summer holds her Son, as Andy, Mary, Bree, and Frank stands inside, as Summer looks at her Sister and Uncle, and tells them with tears "I'm so surprised the two of you would be here." Bree tells her Sister "In times like this, family comes together Summer. Jake is just precious, and I'm here for you. Don't forget that." Summer smiles humbly, as Frank tells his Niece "Let me hold the little guy." Frank picks up his Great-Nephew, and looks at him and says "Jake, you are going to be a great young man and your Uncle Frank will always be there for you." Summer tells everyone "I just wish my Mom was here." Bree  quips "If she was, she wouldn't want Jake calling her Grandma." Everyone laughs, as Frank quips "That was Jamie. She'd have him calling her Mom or Sis if she was here." Summer looks at Andy, and asks him "Did you call my Daddy and tell him the news?" Andy checks his phone, and sees Russell's text, and tells Summer, with sadness in his voice "He's in Capital City, and won't be here." Summer gets upset, and starts to cry, as Mary consoles her Great-Niece, and Frank has a look of his disgust on his face, as does Bree, as they walk out of the room, and Bree tells her Uncle "Russell should be here Uncle Frank. That's his Grandson, and he isn't even here. What in the hell is wrong with him?" Frank puts his arm around Bree, and says in a state of disgust "Russell doesn't give a damn about anybody but himself Bree. He's always been that way, and he always will."
   Meanwhile in Olivia's Office, Nathan sits at Olivia's desk, as Floyd paces the floor, with many emotions, from hurt, to anger, to grief, as Floyd yells "How in the hell could my Daughter die? She was fine this morning? Who did this? Who?" Olivia tells Floyd "Please calm down Floyd." Nathan walks over to his Grandfather, and brings him to the chair, and Floyd sits, as Olivia explains to them "Someone over-medicated her, which killed her. Once we get the Autopsy results, then we can go from there." Floyd tells Olivia "Last night, she told me that the person that stabbed her had on a Halloween mask." Nathan asks his Grandfather "Halloween mask?" Floyd responds "Yes! I think Mary's Son did this. He didn't want to get busted. That bastard's the biggest hypocrite I've ever seen in my life. All he's ever cared about was himself, and Clair was his downfall. They were in love once, but Lynn met a girl, and broke Clair's heart." Nathan starts to cry, as he somberly tells them "Mom was ranting at me, and I left. She begged me to come back, and I didn't listen to her. I'll never forgive myself for this." Floyd hugs his Grandson, and tells him, with tears in his eyes "I'm here for you Nathan. And Allan, Tenny, Ciarra. You have an outlet, and you and I will find the person who did this. And when we do, they will pay with a knife through their hearts, like your Mama." Olivia tells them "I have a feeling I know who could have done this, but I'm not positive." Nathan and Floyd asks her "Who do you think did this?" Olivia tells them "I have a suspect, but until I check the security footage, then I'll tell you." Olivia walks over, and hugs Nathan, and tells him in a gentle tone "Allan and I are here for you, and your Mom will get justice." Nathan thanks Olivia, as he walks out with tears in his eyes, as Floyd returns to the Maternity Ward, with tears in his eyes, as he mourns the loss of his Oldest Daughter. Meanwhile down the hall, The Doctor stands, and says to herself "Dr.North, you best stay out of my way."
   At Chantel's, Bobby arrives, as Paul sits at the bar, in a drunken state, and Bobby asks his Son "Summer had your child Paul. Why aren't you down there?" Paul tells his Father "Because the kid isn't mine. That's why!" Bobby is puzzled, and asks his Son "The DNA had your name on it Paul? The tests were conclusive. That little boy is your son, and my Grandson." Paul grows angry, and in a raging tone, yells "It was fixed Dad! Winston Hale used his clout and had the name changed on that damn test. It didn't belong to Chant. It didn't belong to Burt. It didn't belong to me, it belonged however, to Winston's other Son, Clayton." Bobby motions for the bartender, and tells him "Give me a glass of Crown, on the rocks." Bobby asks Paul "Clayton Hale?" Paul nods, and tells his Father "He's what you would call Winston's bad seed. I've heard even Winston is scared of him." Bobby takes a drink, and tells his Son "So how did Clayton and Summer get together?" Paul tells his Father "Clayton is in and out. He keeps a close eye on his Father, and with all that's happened with Wallace's, he's mysterious. But from what I've gathered, Clayton makes Chant and Winston look like saints." Bobby shakes his head, and tells his Son "Damn. I just wonder if he knows about Winston being in the hospital?" Paul gets up, as he prepares to head out, and says to his Father "He's in town." Bobby takes a deep breath, and asks Paul "How come? Because Winston's in the Hospital?" Paul nods, and responds "He's planning something." Paul heads off, as Bobby soon follows, as he heads back to City Hospital.
   Meanwhile at Jazz, Allan walks out of his office, as Sayyid sits at the bar, and Allan asks Sayyid "I didn't know you drink?" Sayyid tells Allan "I don't. I heard Andre works here." Allan tells Sayyid "He does. But he's gone at the moment. When Mandi Hall was arrested, he freaked out and left." Sayyid sighs, and tells Allan "Well then, guess I'll go check on Willie then." Allan asks Sayyid "Why do you want to see Andre?" Sayyid is quiet for a moment, and tells Allan "I just needed to ask him something. Nothing important." Sayyid abruptly leaves, and Allan has a suspicious look, as he heads to City Hospital, as he's received a text from Tenny, and she tells her Son "Beth's home."
   Back at City Hospital, Terrance stands in Winston's Room, as he checks his vitals, and checks his chart, and says to Winston, who's unconscious "You are on borrowed time if we don't remove your brain tumor, but Ava will have to approve of it." Someone walks inside the room, and tells Terrance "Remove his tumor." Terrance asks the man "Who are you?" The man responds "I'm Clayton Hale. The Son this bastard doesn't talk about." Terrance tells Clayton "Ava is Winston's Wife, so it's up to her." Clayton calmly tells Terrance "Ava doesn't call nothing. I do. And I demand that you remove that brain tumor." Terrance asks Clayton "Does Ava know about you?" Clayton tells him "No that crazy bitch doesn't know about me. And we'll keep it that way." Clayton walks out, and Terrance looks at Winston, and replies "You are full of secrets Winston. Full of them." Terrance heads out, as he returns to the Maternity Ward.
   Meanwhile in the Maternity Ward, Cale and Allison arrive at Sully's room, as Sully sleeps, and Jared sits by his Wife's side, as he holds her hand and sleeps, and Cale asks Xavier, Leigh, Beth, Tenny, Ciarra, and Ava "So where's Ruthie?" Leigh tells them, as Allison hugs her Grandmother, and Great-Aunt "She's in the nursery right now. Getting her check ups." Beth tells them "I think I'll go monitor things." Beth walks out, as Bobby returns, and sees Beth and tells her "I'm glad to see you smile again Beth." Beth tells Bobby "My Great-Granddaughter is so perfect. I'm so proud of Sully. This was exactly what I needed." Bobby kisses Beth, and tells her "Ruth will live on Beth, and your Great-Granddaughter will keep her name alive for years to come." Beth touches Bobby's face, and tells him "Thank you for being there." Bobby looks at Beth, and responds "Don't thank me Beth. I love you and I knew you needed someone." Beth tears up, as she heads to the nursery, and Bobby watches, as Beth walks away. Meanwhile, Frank stands outside, and notices Beth and Bobby, and jealously shows in Frank's eyes, as he walks back inside Summer's room.
  In Summer's Room, Summer cries, as Mary comforts her Great-Niece, as does Bree, Andy and Frank, as Mary tells Summer "Maybe your Daddy has work to do in Capital City." Bree tells her Great-Aunt "Russell is scared he may be dead if he returns to Adam's Landing." Frank agrees, and Summer yells "Ava, Xavier, and even you Uncle Frank all hate Daddy! He's not as bad as everyone thinks he is!" Frank tells his Niece "Summer, Russell burned his bridges in our family a long time ago, and time does heal, but Ava has never recovered over what happened." Summer yells "Screw her! I hate her with all I have in me.." Mary tells Summer "Hate's a strong word. Maybe Ava will come around." Summer quips "When hell freezes over. That woman is evil. Poor Ava, Poor Ava! The shit I've heard my whole life! I'm sick of it! Just damn sick of it!" Mary has a look of defeat, as she walks to the nursery to look at Ruthie and Jake, and Summer looks at Bree, Andy, and Frank, and tells all of them "I want to be by myself for a little while." Andy hugs his Cousin, as he follows Bree and Frank outside, and Frank tells both of them "Russell really needs his ass kicked for not being here." Bree tells her Uncle "If I see him, he'll get it kicked." Andy looks at both of them, and sternly tells them "Let's just all be there for Summer. That's all we can do." Bree looks at her Cousin, as does Frank, and they tell him "That's just what we will do." Bree, Frank, and Andy heads down the hall, as they check on Sully.
   At The Exposer, Sayyid walks inside Aretha's Office, as Aretha looks at her Uncle, and Sayyid asks his Niece "What's with the look of dread?" Aretha pulls something up on her computer, and shows it to Sayyid, and Sayyid takes a deep breath, and asks his Niece "Does she know?" Aretha tells him "She's on her way." Sayyid looks at his Niece, and tells her "If only I knew then, what I know now. Damnit." Aretha asks him "What are you talking about Uncle Clem?" Sayyid looks at Aretha, and cries "If I had went off my instincts, I'd had purpose. And I didn't, and he's going to hate me." At Chantel's, Paul sits at the bar, as he orders dinner, and Clayton walks up behind Paul, and tells him "So have you told Bobby about me?" Paul looks at Clayton, and tells him "I sure the hell did. You don't scare me." Clayton tells Paul "If you tell anyone else about me, I will kill you. It will destroy my Father's plan, and I can't have that." At The Sunset Club, Floyd sits at the bar, as Lynn walks downstairs, and Floyd walks up to Lynn, and coldly tells him "My Daughter's dead Lynn. She's dead because of you." Lynn asks "Why am I to blame? I didn't kill Clair. I loved her." Floyd punches Lynn in the face, and yells "You may not have killed her, but I know for a damn fact someone connected to you did, and you will pay for it you smug bastard!" At Tenny's Penthouse, Rose babysits Gracie and Xavier Jr, as there's a knock at the door, and Rose answers, as it's Nathan, and Nathan cries uncontrollably, and Rose asks him "What's wrong Nathan? Is it your Mom?" Nathan hugs Rose, as he cries "Somebody killed her. My Mom's gone."
   Meanwhile at City Hospital, Beth sits in the nursery, as she holds her Great-Granddaughter, and tells Ruthie, with tears in her eyes "You sweet baby girl, you came into this world at the right time. And I will always be there for you. No matter what happens." Meanwhile Inside Sully's Room, Sully and Jared sleeps, as Tenny and Ciarra tells Xavier and Leigh "We're going to give you guys some time with Sully and that precious baby." Xavier asks his Great-Aunt "Where's Uncle Floyd?" Ciarra tells Xavier "I don't know. Tenny and I are about to find him. Whatever he just learned is bothering him greatly, and he needs us." Xavier hugs his Grandmother, and Great-Aunt, and tells both of them "I hope the two of you find him." Ciarra assures him "We will." Tenny and Ciarra heads out, as Leigh looks at Xavier, and asks "So how do you feel Grandpa?" Xavier holds his Wife, and asks "How do you feel Granny?" Leigh looks at Xavier, and says "I'm Grandma. I'm not no old woman yet X!" Xavier kisses his Wife, and tells her "Princess and Queenie are healthy, and perfect, and I'm thankful." Leigh holds her Husband, and sighs "So am I X." Bree, Frank, and Andy arrive, and Xavier tells them "She's sleeping. She's just fine."
   Outside the Nursery, Ava stares through the window, as she stares at Ruthie and Jake, and someone walks up and says "Those babies are so precious." Ava responds "Yes they are. Too bad Little Jake has such a whore for a Mother. He deserves so much better." The woman responds "Sounds like he needs a good home." Ava quips "I just hope he doesn't take after his Mother, or his Grandmother." Inside the Nursery, Beth bumps into Terrance, and Terrance tells her "Welcome Back." Beth hugs him and says in a tone of content "I wasn't missing Ruthie's birth for nothing in the world." Terrance asks Beth "Are you staying with the Hospital?" Beth looks at Terrance and tells him "I'm still uncertain." Terrance tells her "We need to discuss something, about this new Doctor." Allan meanwhile arrives at Olivia's office, and tells her "Let's go visit Big Sis and my Great-Great Niece!" Olivia's head lays on her desk, as a needle sticks out of her arm, and Allan yells "Oh my God! Olivia!"
   
 
   

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 235. Birthdays

   In the Maternity Ward at City Hospital, Summer and Sully prepares to give birth to their children. In Summer's Birthing Room, Terrance oversees Summer's delivery, as Mary and Andy stands by, holding Summer's hands and offering their support, as Summer begins to push. In Sully's Birthing Room, Xavier, Jared, and Leigh all stands by Sully's side, as the OBGYN oversees Sully's delivery, and Sully screams, as she begins to push, and holds tightly to her Husband's hand, as he tells his Wife in a gentle tone "You can do this Sully." Xavier and Leigh watch on, as they hold onto each other, both getting emotional, as Leigh tells Xavier "We're about to be Grandparents." Outside in the Waiting Area, Tenny, Ciarra, Floyd, and Ava sits in front of Sully's birthing room, as all of them grow anxious, and Ava tells them "To think not long ago, Sully almost died, and now she's about to give birth. I'm so proud for her. And to know she's naming that baby after my Mama.." Ava starts to cry, and Tenny, Ciarra, and Floyd comfort Ava, as Tenny quips "It has my name too Ava. I just wish Beth was here." Beth walks inside, with Bobby, and tells everyone "I'm here. Where's Sully." Everyone hugs Beth, as Beth walks inside the Birthing Room, and Bobby tells them "This is exactly what she needs right now. And hopefully this birth will help her get things together." Tenny tells him "I am so thankful she had you. You're a great man Bobby." Bobby tells Tenny in a humble tone "I was scared for her. I knew she needed someone." Tenny hugs Bobby, and tells him, as tears start to fall "I am indebted to you and I sincerely hope the two of you can make it." Bobby tells Tenny "All I want is for Beth to get back to her fiesty self again." Floyd, Ciarra, and Ava all share the same sentiments, as Tenny responds "We all do Bobby."
   At FJR, Frank walks inside the shop, as his team offers their condolences after Ruth's death, and Frank tells his team "Thank you very much. Where's Cale, Allison, and Rashad?" The Team Director tells his boss "In the meeting room Frank." Frank tells everyone "I'm coming back to work. It will be beneficial to work instead of staying at home. Mama wouldn't want me at home mourning or crying over her, she'd want me here." Frank walks into the meeting room, as Cale, Allison, and Rashad all hugs Frank, and Frank tells them "Thank you guys and gals. Let's discuss racing." Frank tells Cale, Allison, and Rashad "This upcoming race is the most important race you've ever raced. I don't expect nothing less than a 1-2-3 finish in Lafayette." Cale assures his Father, as does Allison and Rashad "We won't settle for nothing less. We're out to win this weekend!" Frank tells them "Xavier has approved of the paint schemes, and asked that we run them the rest of the year. Since he sponsors FJR, he thinks it's a very moving tribute." Cale tells his Father "I think so too Dad. Grandma would be honored." Frank tells his Son "She would." Frank tells them "Let's go look at your cars." They head into the shop, and Cale's car is painted white, with Ruth's Picture on the hood, with her name on the sides. Allison's car is pink, also with Ruth's Picture on the hood, and her name on the sides. And Rashad's car is painted black, also with Ruth's Picture on the hood, and her name on the sides." Frank tells them "I don't know if I'll be able to make it to Lafayette, but don't mess up these cars, and as I said, win." Cale, Allison, and Rashad, all tell Frank "We're going to take care of business, and don't worry about a thing." Frank smiles, and hugs them, as he tells them "I'm heading over to City Hospital now. Summer and Sully are about to deliver their babies. Bree's just called me." Frank heads out, and Cale, Allison, and Rashad all look at each other, and they discuss strategy for the upcoming race.
   Meanwhile in Nathan's Office at Nationwide Records, Allan and Nathan smokes together, as Olivia walks inside, and Nathan and Allan looks at Olivia and asks "What's wrong?" Olivia takes a deep breath, as she has trouble talking, and Nathan asks her "Is this about my Mom?" Olivia takes another deep breath, and tells Nathan "I got bad news, your Mom has died." Allan is stunned, as Nathan says to Olivia, in a scared tone "She was fine eariler." Olivia responds "Yes she was Nathan, but she died and I couldn't save her." Nathan screams "What in the hell happened to my Mom? Did someone kill her? If they did, I will put a damn bullet in them! My Mom can't be dead! She just can't be." Nathan grows angry, and Allan hugs his Son, and comforts him, as Olivia tells Nathan "I have a feeling someone over-medicated her. I ordered an autopsy, and once the results return, then we'll have our answers." Nathan yells "Who could have done it?" Olivia sighs "I think I have a clue, but I'm not certain." Nathan tells Olivia "Let's get to the Hospital now! Whoever did this will pay with their pathetic ass life!" Allan looks at Nathan, as he's received a text, and tells his Son "I'll be down there in a few, the ALPD's at Jazz right now and I need to find out what's going on," Olivia and Nathan heads to City Hospital, as Allan heads down to Jazz.
   At Wallace's Corporate Headquarters, Mona sits in her office, as she gets off the phone with her Son, Wally Manning, as Desi walks inside, and Mona asks her Friend "Where have you been? I know about what happened." Desi tells Mona "I really screwed up Mona. I really screwed up." Mona quips "You're lucky to be alive! Maybe now you will leave Class the hell alone and help me with Wallace's." Desi asks Mona "Are you serious?" Mona goes "Hell yes! Fancy's off in Europe looking for Wallace, and Winston's in the Hospital, I'm running things on my own, and I want to offer you a job here working for me." Desi looks at Mona, and tells her friend "Give me some time to think about it. I went to visit Michael for a few days after I was released from The Storm Shelter, and he's not well." Mona asks her "What's wrong with him?" Desi tells Mona "He's been beaten up pretty bad by some thugs in the Prison. I'm really scared for him." Mona asks Desi "I noticed you have a for sale sign in front of your home Desi? Are you thinking about moving?" Desi looks at Mona, and tells her "I had some quiet time to think, and I need to better myself. Living here, I don't have anything." Mona coughs, and reminds her "You have me Desi." Desi also reminds Mona "You are the only person I have here Mona. Rachel and I are too far gone, and I noticed some things in Unity that disturbed me." Mona asks her "Like?" Desi tells Mona "I need a new start, and with the money I make off my home, and my overseas accounts, I think I could make a difference in Unity. I found a space at this small mall that's the perfect size for a Department Store, and I am looking into it." Mona looks at Desi, and asks her "Are you sure you want to leave Adam's Landing, and leave this opportunity? I mean Desi, you would have the upper hand over Xavier, and Jackson Inc? I know that's what you want." Desi looks at Mona, and tells her friend "After Ruth's death, I have realized I need to be there for my family, and Michael needs me." Mona looks at Desi, and tells her "Unity isn't too far away Desi, and you can go visit him anytime you please. I just don't want you to leave town." Desi heads to the door, and tells Mona "I have a lot of thinking to do. We'll have to see." Desi walks out, as Mona sits at her desk, as she's scared of losing her best friend.
   Meanwhile at The Exposer, Aretha sits at her desk, as she does some background checks on Andre Parks, and Sayyid walks inside, and Aretha tells her Uncle "He has quite the rap sheet. Many arrests, and apparently his Parents were killed in a drive by when he was 11 years old." Sayyid starts to cry, and Aretha asks her Uncle "Ok Uncle Clem, you are too immersed in this young man, what are you hiding?" Sayyid looks at his Niece, and tells her "Aretha, I know quite a bit about Andre, and like I have said, until I get facts, then I will explain everything. Find his Birth Certificate." Aretha looks up Andre's Birth Certificate, and her eyes widen, and she tells her Uncle "You want to see this." Sayyid looks, as does Aretha, as she asks her Uncle "I don't believe this at all Uncle Clem." Sayyid reads the names, and goes "Shit. That explains a lot." Aretha, in a shocked tone, responds "Yes it does. Your instinct was spot on." Sayyid looks at his Niece, and tells her "Thank you for helping me Aretha." Aretha hugs her Uncle, and tells him "Anytime Uncle Clem." Sayyid walks out, as Aretha gets her phone, and makes a phone call, and tells the person on the other line "I think you need to pay me a visit. He knows."
   Back at City Hospital, In the Waiting Area, Ciarra, Tenny, Bobby, and Floyd waits anxiously for word on Sully's baby. Inside the Birthing Room, Beth stands by the OBGYN, as Sully pushes, as she squeezes Jared's hand, and screams in pain, and Beth tells her Granddaughter "I see a head. Time for the big push sweetie." Sully pushes once again, and a cry is heard, as Xavier and Leigh starts to cry, and the OBGYN tells Sully and Jared "It's a little girl." Beth gushes over her Great-Granddaughter, as she picks her up and puts her in Sully's arms, and Sully cries of joy, as does Jared, Beth, Xavier, and Leigh, as Sully looks at her Daughter, and cries "Ruthie's so perfect." Leigh looks at her Granddaughter, as does Xavier, as Jared holds his Daughter, and tells her gently "Welcome to our lives Ruthie Tennessee Hale." Jared hands Ruthie to her Grandparents, and Xavier cries, as he tells his Granddaughter "Sully's my Princess, but you are my Queenie." Leigh and Xavier has a look of content, as does Sully and Jared, as Beth is quiet, and walks out into the waiting area, where Tenny, Ciarra, Floyd, and Bobby awaits, and Beth tells them with tears in her eyes "Ruthie has arrived. She's absolutely perfect."
   In Summer's Birthing Room, Andy and Mary stands by Summer's side, as Terrance tells Summer "Push one more time. You've almost got it," Summer pushes, as she squeezes Mary's hand tightly, and a cry is heard, as Terrance tells Summer "It looks like you have a little boy." Terrance hands Summer her newborn Son, and Mary tells Summer "He's perfect." Andy plays with his 2nd Cousin, as Summer holds her Son, and Terrance asks Summer "Who's the Father of this little boy?" Summer looks at Terrance, and tells him "Paul left town after I told him he wasn't the Father." Andy asks Summer "From what I understood, he was the Father." Summer tells her Cousin "I did that to save myself." I had a one night stand with someone, and then he left the next morning. He's the Father, but I don't know who he is." Mary asks Summer "Ruth told me awhile back Paul Whitten was the Father?" Summer looks at her Great-Aunt, and tells her "Smoke screen. Winston changed those results for another reason (Flashback, At Whispering Hills, Winston walks into Summer's Room and screams "That damn child came from the wrong Hale you whore!" Summer asks "What are you talking about?" Winston tells Summer, with anger in his voice "My other Son is the Father! And I outcast-ed him a long ass time ago! This child will never be a Hale! Never!) Summer tells Andy and Mary "This little boy is Winston's Grandson." Terrance asks her "What would you like to name your Son?" Summer looks at them and says "Jake Russell Marx." The nurse arrives to carry Jake to check him out, and outside, Bree sits in the Waiting Area, as Ava sits next to her Niece, and asks her "So why would you be here Bree?" Bree tells her Aunt "That baby's either my niece or nephew, and Summer needs some support." Ava looks at Bree, and tells her "You are very strong, like your Grandma. I could never do what you're doing." Bree tells her "It's tough, but I knew Summer would need support, and Grandma wanted us to be one, so I'm honoring that." Ava hugs Bree, and tells her "Mama would be so proud of you Bree. My respect for you only grows. You truly do take after my Mama." Bree starts to cry, and tells her Aunt "That means so much." Ava hugs her Niece, and tells her "I mean it Bree. You really do."
   Meanwhile at Jazz, Allan arrives, as he notices Mandi walking out of Jazz in handcuffs, and Allan asks the officer "What's the problem?" The officer tells Allan "Mr.Sullivan, Mandi has violated her parole, and she's being sent to Unity Prison immediately. She only had one more time to mess up, and she did." Mandi's silent, and Allan asks "What did she do?" The officer responds "She was supposed to stay in Captial City, but she left town without consulting the parole officer." Mandi has a look of guilt, as she has taken away, and Allan shakes his head, as he is quiet, and says to himself "Something's really messed up with this."
  Back at City Hospital, Olivia and Nathan arrives, as they walk by Maternity, as Ciarra, Tenny, Floyd, and Bobby walks out of the Waiting Area, and Floyd asks his Grandson "How's your Mama?" Nathan, with anger in his eyes, tells his Grandfather "She was killed Grandpa. Someone killed her in this Hospital!" Floyd grows angry, and follows Olivia and Nathan, as Ciarra has a look of sadness in her eyes, and tells Tenny and Bobby "It's truly Daylight And Darkness now." They head to the Nursery, as they head to see Ruthie. Inside the Birthing Room, Sully, Jared, Leigh, Xavier, and Beth sits inside, as the nurse tells them "Ruthie's in the nursery. Come see her. She's crying for her family." They head inside the Nursery, as Summer sits inside with Andy and Mary, and Summer holds her Son in her arms, as she rocks him in the rocking chair, as Sully rocks her Daughter in her arms, as Jared stands by his Wife and Daughter, as Xavier, Leigh, and Beth looks through the nursery window, as Tenny, Ciarra, Ava, Bree, and Frank stands outside, and they give everyone two thumbs up, as Ruthie Tennessee Hale, and Jake Russell Marx are completely healthy, and for a moment, everyone comes together, as some daylight shows through the darkness.
