Daylight And Darkness: Episode 199. The Value Of Life

  At Wallace's Corporate Headquarters, Wallace looks at Xavier, as he has his Colt 45 aimed at him, with his eyes red with anger, as Wallace tells him "You can't handle losing can you? Your family thinks they run Adam's Landing, but it's over. Your reign is over. I win." Xavier walks over to Wallace, and picks him up out of his chair and slams him against the wall, and puts his Colt 45 to Wallace's head and tells him "My family built Adam's Landing. You have just disrespected history here and you will regret this you bastard. I won't kill you...yet." Wallace tells Xavier in a cocky tone "Instead of standing here, you should be trying to salvage Jim's and Foodstar." Xavier looks at Wallace and tells him, as he walks out "Your ass is mine Wallace Manning Jr!" Xavier walks out and Wallace sits back and has a thought and says to himself "And this is just the beginning."
  At Jackson Inc, Bobby arrives, as Burt and Jared sits in Xavier's office with Ciarra, as she's gotten off the phone with Floyd, all with a scared look on their faces and Bobby asks "Where is Xavier and the rest of the family?" Jared tells Bobby "Xavier rushed out to pay Wallace a visit after that broadcast." Bobby takes a deep breath and tells them "Leigh, Sully, and Beth needs to get here immediately as does Xavier. Russell is in town and he's now the State Attorney General." Everyone is stunned as Bobby fills them in on the developments and he tells them "Wallace Manning Jr's Brother is now DA, and they are about to go for Xavier." Ciarra tells them with anger in her eyes "From what Floyd told me, they are waiting for him to head back to Hell Hill." Bobby yells at Jared and Burt "Call the family NOW! We have to talk strategy and fast!" Jared calls Sully, who's at Class with Leigh, as Burt calls Winston, who's with Ava and Summer, as they have arrived at City Hospital. Ciarra calls Beth, as she too is at City Hospital, and Bobby calls Xavier and each of them tells Bobby "Everyone's one their way here."
   Meanwhile at Chantel's, Fancy lays on the ground after a forceful slap from Ruth and Fancy smiles and says in a cocky tone "Are you bitter you couldn't give your beloved B.R. what he wanted?" Ruth tells Fancy "This is about how your damn family's come to town and are trying their worst to hurt all of them! And I know this was all your idea!" Fancy pretends not to know and tells Ruth "I never gave Wallace any ideas Ruth. Has anyone recommended plastic surgery for you? You haven't aged well." Ruth receives a text from Maria, and looks at it and tells Fancy with anger in her voice "Your son has pushed things too far and I would sure hate for everyone to know, especially your family that you were nothing but a opportunist." Fancy gets furious and hisses "How dare you.." Ruth snaps "That's right Carla Fancy Barr! A money hungry whore! You were almost 50 years ago, and you still are!" Fancy snaps at Ruth "At least I never divorced my Husband! You left B.R. and you never kept him pleased, he always had to sleep with other women to get satisfaction. Didn't he sleep with Beth Sullivan and have a child? And here you are defending the little Bastard." Ruth pulls back her fist and punches Fancy in the mouth and quips "I still have some fight left in me, and all I'm going to tell you is to use caution." Fancy wipes the blood from her mouth and warns Ruth "Your family no longer calls the shots. My family does and I will send you to jail along with B.R.'s spawn." Ruth walks out and Fancy makes a phone call to her son Johnny at the ALPD, and tells him "Ruth Jackson has assaulted your Mother. I want her arrested." At the ALPD, Johnny sits in his office with Russell and tells him "Looks like the way things are going, we'll have all of them in jail." Russell gets off the phone with Unity Prison and tells him "Brock Jr and Tommy are being brought back to Adam's Landing as we speak."
   Down in Southpoint Beach meanwhile, Cale and Allison has exchanged wedding vows, as Allison's Grandfather, Davis Lane watches on as the Priest tells them "Cale you can kiss the bride." Cale and Allison passionately kiss and Cale tells his Wife "Now it's time for the race." Allison tells her new Husband "I'm going to stay here with Grandpa." Cale tells his Wife "I know I missed qualifying and will start in the rear, but I don't care, after this race I'm done with Jesse Adams." Allison tells him "Try to mend things with Frank, he seems sincere." Cale is quiet, as he leaves and Davis gets off the phone with Olivia, and tells Allison "Your Mom sends her congrats and she also told me that it's about to get bad in Adam's Landing." Allison asks her Grandfather "What do you mean?" Davis fills his Granddaughter in and Allison rolls her eyes and tells him "Why do I have a feeling that Mom's Sister is behind this?" Davis rolls his eyes and tells Allison "She just stirred a hornet's nest!"
   Back in Adam's Landing at City Hospital, Ava, Winston, and Summer are in the triage in the ER, as the OBGYN checks Summer out and tells Summer "You are pregnant." Ava rolls her eyes and Winston has a look of disgust on his face as he tells Summer sternly "Now you'll play by my rules!" Beth runs inside and tells Ava and Winston with a scared look on her face, as she trembles "We've got to get to Jackson Inc immediately. Bobby's been fired from the ALPD, and Russell and Johnny Manning now calls the shots at the ALPD!" Ava looks at Summer and asks Beth "What do we do with Summer?" Beth tells the nurse "Send Summer to a private room in the old psych ward. I want security to stay by the door in case she tries to escape." Winston takes a deep breath as Summer's carried to a room and she yells at them "You all will pay for this! All of you!" Beth slaps Summer and tells her "Your Father and the Mannings may be making a power play in Adam's Landing, but Xavier owns this Hospital, and I am the boss! Your ass is staying here!"
 Beth, Ava, and Winston rushes out for Jackson Inc, as Winston tells them "I know of one way for Xavier to get out of this mess." Beth tells Winston "I just hope he doesn't go home first."
   Meanwhile at The Evans Home, Terrance, Sayyid, and Willie walks through the door as they have stopped for dinner at La Trattoria and Sassy tells them "Hold on a minute." Sassy walks upstairs into the nursery and picks up her Grandson and tells him "Your Granny is here." Sassy brings Little Sidney downstairs and hands him to Willie and she tells everyone "This is the man I wanted to see." Willie kisses her Great-Grandson and sits down in her chair and Terrance gets a text from Beth and Sayyid gets a text from Bobby and Willie and Sassy asks them, as both notice a look of panic "What's wrong?" Terrance tells them "Wallace Manning Jr has done the unthinkable." Sayyid tells his Sister "You stay here. I'm about to head down to Jackson Inc and prepare myself." Sayyid grabs his briefcase and runs out and Willie tells them "Yall know he doesn't keep files in there." Terrance and Sassy looks at Willie, as she holds her Great-Grandson and tells them "Something huge is about to go down."
   At Jackson Inc, Sully and Leigh arrives and both of them notice a look of dread and defeat on Bobby, Jared, and Burt's faces and Sully asks in a tone of dread "Does this have to do with what I seen on TV earlier?" Everyone nods as Leigh starts to cry as Bobby fills them in and Leigh cries "My kids need their Daddy, and I need X. Those bastards will pay! They all will pay!" Sully clings tightly to Jared, as Ciarra walks back into Xavier's office and tells them "I just called Tenny and told her to forget about Los Angeles and get back home ASAP! She is the one that knows about the Manning Family." Sully asks her Great-Aunt "Is she coming back?" Ciarra tells them "Beth told her to stay there." Bobby tells everyone "That may be a good idea, knowing her temper." Desi arrives at Jackson Inc and Leigh shrieks "Get the hell out of this office you low life bitch and pray to god that Beth doesn't kill you!" Desi yells back "I am here to admit that I helped the Mannings get their information on how to take control of Adam's Landing. And I am also here to tell all of you that I regret it deeply and I have been selfish in the past and vindictive.."Sully glares at Desi and snaps "Vindictive isn't even the word to start with when it comes to you." Desi looks at Sully and tells her "There may be a way to stop Wallace. I am friends with Mona Manning, and Aretha Evans may have just done something right for once." Sully asks Desi "And what would that be?" Desi tells them "Check out the recent headline on The Exposer." Everyone pulls out their phones as Sully keeps one eye on Desi and Bobby looks at Desi and asks her "And what else do you know?" Desi tells them "Wallace Manning Jr is a bastard. A truly evil bastard. And so his Mother." And when Wallace and Mona married, there was NO pre-nuptial agreement, meaning if she filed for divorce, then he could lose everything." Beth, Ava, and Winston arrives and Ava and Beth sees Desi and both of them yells "Get out of here!" Sully stops them and says "I can't believe I am saying this, but she may have just helped us save Daddy." Desi also tells Sully and Leigh "I am also laying down my intentions to take back Class. You have done a great job, and Mona and I plan to start a boutique. After Wallace's bank is dry, then we can all watch that bastard get his due." All are shocked as Beth and Ava looks at each other and Beth quips "First Willie's recovery, now Desi showing sympathy. I think I'm about to have a heart attack." Meanwhile Xavier walks inside and sees Desi and pulls out his Colt 45 and Bobby yells at him" Put the gun down and let's discuss strategy." Desi tells everyone "I will leave.." Sully stops her and says "No you will stay. We are all here for the same reason."
  At Hell Hill, Bree sits in the nursery, as she looks at Gracie and Xavier Jr, as Maria and Floyd stands by her as she gets emotional and Maria and Shannon holds onto her as she tells them "Xavier has his ways, but he loves his family." Floyd tells her "Xavier took after Brock, but he didn't leave him in charge of this family for nothing. He even loves you. Otherwise would he let you stay here to recover?" Bree has a flashback to a conversation she had with Beth in the past, regarding Xavier and tells her Great-Uncle "He truly is the leader of our family." Floyd nods and all of them hear sirens in the front yard and Floyd tells Maria, Shannon, and Bree "Stay here!" Bree tells him "I'm coming with you." Shannon tells Precious, as he growls and snarls "Follow them." Precious runs behind them as they runs outside and Ruth stands outside her car, as she's being handcuffed and read her rights and Floyd yells at the police "What in the hell are you doing? You let her go!" Bree is furious and asks the ALPD "Why are you arresting my Grandma?" The officer tells them "This old woman just assaulted Fancy Manning at Chantel's." Ruth is read her rights, as she has a look of anger in her eyes and Bree tells her Grandmother "You don't say nothing. Nothing!" Ruth is put in the police car and carried down to the ALPD and Bree holds onto her Great-Uncle, as she cries "I don't understand." Floyd holds Bree and looks ahead, as Ruth's carried to jail and as three Police cars stay, Bree walks back inside, along with Floyd and Bree makes a phone call to Ava and tells her "Grandma has been arrested."
   Back in Southpoint Beach, at Southpoint International Speedway, Frank sits in his Motor-coach, and watches his cars qualify, as Wally qualifies 35th, and Rashad starts on the Pole. Cale knocks on Frank's door and Frank answers and Cale tells his Father "I want to call a truce. After this race, I will be back with FJR. Frank starts to cry and hugs his Son and tells him "I really need you right now. We all have to be united as a family Cale. The Mannings are out for blood." At Wallace's Corporate Headquarters, Wallace gets a phone call from Johnny and he tells his Oldest Brother "Ruth Jackson has been arrested and we won't have a bail hearing." Wallace smiles and says "My day keeps getting better." Wallace sits back and Mona walks inside, and looks at her Husband and asks him "So you haven't been seeing Candi?" Wallace tells his Wife "I am a married man. My heart belongs to you." Mona pulls out her pistol and aims it at Wallace and tells him "And every time you ever told me that, you were hiding something." Wallace asks Mona, as he's scared "And what would I be hiding?" Mona screams "I read the damn EXPOSER! And I have called my lawyer!" Scared yet?" Fancy walks inside and warns Mona "You better back off of my Son..." At Jackson Inc, The Jackson Family has gathered inside Xavier's office as have Desi, and Winston, and they all know of Ruth's arrest and Bobby tells Xavier "You can't go home Xavier. If you do, then you'll be on the first bus to Unity Prison." Winston tells everyone "I only know of one way for Xavier to escape this." Bobby looks at Winston, as does everyone in the room and Xavier tells his family, as Beth, Leigh, and Sully clings to him "If I have to go to jail for my family, then that will be what I will do." Bobby tells Xavier "Sayyid is outside." Outside Jackson Inc, Sayyid pulls out his AK-47 and backs away from Xavier's car. Back inside Xavier's office, Bobby tells everyone "Everything is set." Everyone starts to cry, including Desi, as Leigh, Beth, ad Sully holds onto Xavier, as Ava and Winston holds onto each other, as Ciarra shakes her head in disgust, and Country walks inside and tells Xavier "I got a van outside." The windows rattle as they hear an explosion outside, as Xavier's car is engulfed in flames and Sayyid texts Bobby and tells him "My part is done."
