Daylight And Darkness: Episode 255. The Grand Opening: Part 2

   In Northbrook Center Mall in Valley Ridge, a crowd begins to gather as the ribbon cutting ceremony is about to start, and Aretha walks out to cover the story for The Exposer. Inside, Ava and Ciarra stands inside Emery's, as Ciarra looks at Ava, and tells her "We've really done a great job with this chain. It means so much to me." Winston walks inside, and Ciarra asks Ava, as she hugs Winston "Don't even tell me.." Ava assures Ciarra "No. But we know something and we can't really discuss it." In Class, Xavier, Sully, and Jared are together, as Leigh walks in and hands Xavier the divorce papers, and Xavier and Sully are blown away, as Xavier looks at Leigh, and asks "Are you serious? Really Leigh?" Sully holds onto her Husband, as Xavier notices Mona in the back with Wallace, and snarls at his Wife "Are they putting you into this? Who in the hell are you?" Leigh starts to cry "I don't know X. I don't know." Sully is pulled as she is tearing up over her Mother's breakdown, and her Father's shock, and tells Leigh "All I wanted you to get was help, but you are leaving after all?" Leigh yells "Yes! Look I just need to." Xavier walks out of Class, and glares at Mona and Wallace, as Sully cries to Jared "Daddy." Sully turns to her Mother, and cries with anger in her voice "How could you Mom? How could you do that to my Daddy?"
   Meanwhile in Adam's Landing, in the Storm Shelter, at Hell Hill, Floyd and Country looks at Clayton, as he laughs "I think Floyd, wouldn't Ciarra be in Valley Ridge, wish you told her goodbye." Floyd glares at Clayton, as he asks "Is that a threat boy?" Floyd looks at Country, as the walk up and forcefully grabs him up, as Floyd looks at Country, and tells him "Looks like this bastard knows something, and either he's talking, or he's getting beaten, and shot." Clayton tells them "Screw you. Winston will soon be a name of yesterday, and Clayton Hale will be the most feared name around." Floyd punches Clayton in the face, as Country punches Clayton in the ribs, and then drops him, and Floyd asks 'Want some more?" Floyd picks up his rifle, and aims it at Clayton, as Country aims his pistol, and Clayton grows silent, as he's in pain.
   At FJR, Frank and Bree sits inside his office, as they go over some papers and contracts together, as Willie walks inside, and Frank hugs Willie, and he asks "What's brought you down here?" Willie tells Frank, as she hugs Bree "I just thought about Ruth, and felt I should come see you. I figured you'd be here." Frank tells Willie "How are you these days? I have heard it's wild with that Eve Mathis story." Willie laughs "Eve. I love her like a Daughter, but she's full of her secrets." Frank asks Willie "Have you seen Mama's headstone.." Willie tells Frank "I try very hard to avoid Hell Hill, because when I drive by, I think she's there, and it just breaks my heart still to know she's gone." Bree and Frank console Willie, and Frank pulls out a deck of cards, as he asks Willie "Care to play?" Willie perks up, as she asks Frank "Are you crazy? You know my record?" Frank deals, as he and Willie plays a round of Blackjack.
  At City Hospital, Beth stands in her office, as Terrance walks in, and notice the odor of marijuana, with a towel at the bottom of the door, as Beth smokes a joint, and tells Terrance "Eye drops in the cabinet, perfume in my desk." Beth adds, as Olivia's also inside "Rachel Lane is pregnant. Doesn't know who in the hell her baby's daddy is. I want these names checked in the DNA, and make sure these are put on rush." Terrance sprays Perfume on, and walks out, as Beth looks at Olivia, and tells her "I hated Desi, and I hate Rachel, and I have no idea how to tell my Mama about this." Olivia goes "Shit! Allan! He won't be pleased either, you know his rumors." Beth quips "Kids all over." Olivia tells her "At least 3 more that I have heard." Beth laughs "Don't surprise me."
   Meanwhile at Nationwide Records, Rose sits in Nathan's studio, as he records a few tracks, as Eve sings, and Nathan stops the recording, and asks Eve, who's in the Sound Booth "That's raw as hell." Eve quips "I can sang it like no body's business! Technique." Eve struts around, as she tells Nathan "With everything going on lately, I want to make an R&B album, and go back to my start." Nathan tells Eve "J.B. sent some instrumentals, and lyrics, want to take a listen." Eve responds "Sure." Eve listens as she goes "He can always lift me up." Rose tells Nathan "She's cool." Nathan quips "Don't make her mad. She fights dirty. She's the DIVA, and she earned that name!" Rose quips, as she pulls out a joint, and Nathan tells her "Eve doesn't like that in the studio." Rose listens, as she just holds Nathan, as he's awestruck, and tells Eve "This may be your best album ever with those pipes, you're not holding nothing back." Eve tells him "Nothing to lose."
  Back in Valley Ridge, the scene is chaotic outside, as people await the doors to open, a truck sits in the parking lot, as it doesn't look suspicious, as someone is talking on the phone, and on a laptop, as he says "Ok." and hangs up. Inside, Ava and Ciarra stands in front of Emery's, both with the look of content, as Winston returns, with Xavier, and Xavier tells them "Let's get this opening over with." Ava looks at her Brother, and tells him "Perk up. This is going to be a good day, focus on the positive Xavier." Ciarra agrees. Meanwhile in Class, Sully sits outside the store, as Jared returns with a drink, as Sully tells her Husband "I am hurting for Daddy. Mom's putting him through hell, and really, I've had about enough." Jared tells his Wife  "Maybe she'll get better soon." Sully holds onto Jared. Meanwhile Aretha has gathered outside, along with the media, as the media, and shoppers awaits the doors to open. In a boarded up home across the road from Northbrook Center, a woman walks inside, as she quips "He really let this beautiful estate go to hell." Two men stand inside, as the woman tells them "If my phone rings. Then."
  In Adam's Landing, Tenny sits in her apartment, as there's a knock at her door, and Tenny walks over, with Precious, as she yawns to Gabriella, who's holding Ruthie, and Tenny tells Gabriella "I was taking my nap, my soaps are on and Precious was comfy, and just me and my boy." Gabriella hands Ruthie to Tenny, and warns her "Don't change the channel." Tenny rolls her eyes, as Gabriella freaks out, and Tenny asks in confusion "Are you really wacko? Damn if you don't act it." Gabriella looks at Tenny, and frantically says to her "I am seeing black Tenny! We need to warn people." Tenny asks "Turning religious?" Tenny yells "Just what in the hell are wrong with you then?" Gabriella screams "Just watch the damn TV!" Tenny sighs "Shit." as she looks at her marijuana pouch, and tells her Great Great Granddaughter "I would let you stay with your  Granny, but she's whacked in the head. You stay with your namesake. Just call me Gran."
  At City Hospital, Beth still sits in her office, with Olivia, as Beth's phone rings, as it's Terrance, as he stands in Rachel's room, and tells Beth "I got bad news." Beth asks "What?" Terrance looks at the unlocked handcuffs, and tells Beth "Rachel has broken out." Beth hangs up, and runs out, as Olivia follows, asking Beth "I know that look, Rachel escaped?" Beth snarls "It's like this bitch can do magic tricks, though she got the tricks from your Sister!" Olivia quips "You really hated Desi didn't you Beth?" Beth huffs "Hate isn't the right word." They arrive at Rachel's room, as Terrance stands inside, and Beth, Terrance, and Olivia all grow furious.Meanwhile at Nationwide Records, Nathan, Rose, and Eve sits in the producer's booth, as they listen to Eve's tracks, and Eve tells Nathan "I love it. This is going to be exactly what I want to say!" Nathan quips "I think your audience will be blown away when they hear this." Eve tells Nathan "Keeping up with the times.." Eve turns around, as does Nathan and Rose as Rachel walks in, and Eve snaps "Who released you?" Rachel struts over to Nathan, and jumps in his lap, as she kisses him on the face, as Rose grows angry, as does Eve, as Rachel tells Nathan "We're about to be Mommy and Daddy Daddy." Nathan is taken back, as Eve coldly responds "Well Nathan, you're not the only candidate on this whore's ballot for Daddies in the running!" Eve and Rose walks over to Rachel, as Nathan gets up, knocking Rachel on the floor, and Nathan snaps at Rachel "Get the hell out of here and don't come back again." Allan meanwhile walks inside, and senses the tension and asks "What's going on?" Rachel tells Allan "You're going to be a Grandpa."
   At Hell Hill, Samantha watches J.J., and his 2nd Cousins Gracie and Xavier Jr play, as she has the TV on in the background, as she's watching one of her favorite soaps, as is Tenny at Tenny's Penthouse. In the Storm Shelter at Hell Hill, Clayton screams at Floyd and Country, as he's been beaten "I won't say shit to either of you! Screw you! Screw all of you! When I am free, you will feel my wrath, though it's here." Floyd coldly tells Clayton, as he bends down and gets in his face "The only damn wrath anyone's going to feel is you, and how we take care of folks like you." Bobby walks inside, and asks Floyd and Country "Keeping Clayton comfortable?" Clayton snarls "Whitten." Bobby goes "D.A. Whitten."
  Back at FJR, Willie looks at her cards, as Frank looks at his, as Bree, Rashad, and Little Sidney watch on, as Willie goes "20". Frank lays down his cards, and smiles "Mama taught one person this trick. Nobody played cards with me either when we used to play cards when it was race weekends." Willie quips "I guess I will just feed you, and challenge you to a rematch!" Frank laughs, as he hugs Willie "Deal." Meanwhile an employee runs down the hall, as everyone in Frank's office notices, and they walk out into the hall, as they look up on the TV. At City Hospital, Beth, Olivia, and Terrance walks down the hall, towards Beth's office, as the nurses are silent, and Beth turns to them, and looks at the TV, as her eyes widen, and she freezes. At Tenny's Penthouse and Hell Hill, the news breaks in during the soaps, and Samantha steps back, as Tenny looks on at the TV, as Gabriella is silent, and Tenny asks Gabriella "Was this what you were seeing?" In Valley Ridge, The woman smiles "Well done." Across the road, Aretha, and all the media, and shoppers scatter frantically, as Northbrook Center imploded, as it begins to fall to the ground, with Xavier, Winston, Ava, Leigh, Sully, Jared, Ciarra, Mona, and Wallace inside.
