Daylight And Darkness: Episode 122. The Longest Day

  At The Inn,Tenny fires her shot and Jesse stands in front of Desi and Jesse grabs his chest and falls on the floor.Desi yells at Tenny"You crazy bitch!"Tenny stands quietly in front of them as Jesse's on the floor and laughs"That guy's an idiot."Tenny puts her pistol in her pocket and lights a cigarette and walks out of the room as Desi rushes to Jesse's side as he's clinging to life after Tenny's shot.Desi calls 911 and then a call to the ALPD,and frantically tells them"Jesse Adams has been shot and I'm pressing charges!"Meanwhile,Tenny heads home and says to herself in disgust"It's not over yet."Tenny drives home and is silent as she plays standards on the radio as she drives to her Penthouse.
  Meanwhile in Winston's Suite at The Sunset Club,Jamie lays on the ground dying as Winston walks into the room and says to Ava"I see you finally got what you wanted."Jamie has been shot in the chest as well and she looks at her sister and her last words are"All I ever wanted was to be you."Jamie closes her eyes and dies on the floor as Ava doesn't say a word and looks at Winston and he asks Ava gently"Are you ok Ava?"Ava looks down at her sister and tells Winston with a tone of regret"I wish it hadn't of come to this,but it is what it is."Country arrives in the room as Winston's called him and he asks Ava and Winston"Where's Rachel?"Ava responds"When Jamie and I began to fight over the gun,she ran out when Winston walked in."Winston tells Ava"Xavier and Bobby has taken care of everything Ava and Country's going to take them out of here.If anyone speaks about this,they will meet the same fate."Ava is silent and tells Country"Get rid of the bodies and call me once they're disposed of."Country nods and two men walk in the room and assists Country as Ava sits on Winston's bed and she tells her Ex-Husband in a distant tone"Jamie had this coming to her for years."Winston looks at Ava and asks"I would think you'd be happy to have Jamie out of the picture?"Ava looks at Winston and says"I just killed my sister.This will break my Mama if she finds out."Winston puts his arm around Ava and assures her"Don't worry about this Ava.I will see to it Ruth never finds out."Ava and Winston looks at each other silently as neither say a word but their eyes are connected as Winston comforts Ava with a hug and tells her"Now you need to be there for our son."Ava looks at Winston and asks"What do you mean?"Winston responds"I told him."Ava takes a deep breath and both of them are silent.
  Meanwhile,Rachel arrives at Michael's apartment and knocks on the door frantically.Michael answers the door and Rachel rushes inside,shaking and fearing for her life.Michael looks at his sister and asks her"What's wrong Rachel?"Rachel,in a scared tone tells her brother"Ava just killed Jamie and she was about to kill me too until Winston arrived."Michael is taken back and asks Rachel"Have you seen Lily?"Rachel looks at her brother and tells him,as Michael and Lily have been dating"Mikey,she's dead."Michael asks Rachel"Who killed her?"Rachel sits down and tells Michael"Jamie and I went down to The Sunset Club and we walked inside the suite,and she was laying on the ground in a pool of blood."Michael gets emotional and a thought enters his mind and he gets out his phone to call Desi and doesn't get a response."Michael looks at his sister and says with fear in his voice"We are all in danger.Mom's staying at The Inn with Jesse Adams and Beth confronted her earlier."Rachel asks"Do you think.."Michael responds"I don't know but I'm about to find out."Michael heads to the bedroom to get dressed as Rachel sits on the couch in the living room and Michael comes out and he and Rachel heads down to The Inn.
  Meanwhile,At Sully and Jared's Penthouse,Ciarra knocks on the door as Tenny hasn't returned home and Sully answers and asks her Great-Aunt"What's wrong?You're normally asleep this time of night?"Ciarra tells her"Tennessee hasn't returned yet and I'm worried."Sully makes a phone call to her Grandmother and Beth doesn't answer nor does Xavier and Leigh as all of them have went to bed for the night."Ciarra tells her Great-Niece"When Tennessee returned today,she seen Desi's interview and then the book and left."Sully and Ciarra fear the worst as it's late at night and Ciarra tells Sully"Tennessee isn't very happy right now.With Allan in Blue Ridge,and that damn book.."Sully stops her and tells Ciarra"Only a few copies were published.Winston,Daddy,and Aunt Ava played them well and that book won't be seeing the light of day."Ciarra sighs of relief and she smells smoke in the hall and tells Sully"I think that's Tennessee."Sully gives Ciarra a hug and follows her outside as Tenny walks inside the Penthouse and Ciarra and Sully follows her inside and Tenny sits down in her chair and pulls out her pistol and Ciarra asks her sister"Tennessee,did you do what I think you did?"Tennessee smokes her cigarette and looks at them and says"Someone got in my way and I shot him."Sully asks"Did you go to kill Desi?"Tenny tells her Great-Granddaughter"Damn right I did and some hick blocked me and took a bullet for her."There's a knock at the door and Sully answers the door and it's the ALPD and Tenny looks at them as they tell her"Tennessee Martin Sullivan,you're under arrest for the attempted murder of Desi Lane and Jesse Adams."Tenny is silent as she's handcuffed and Ciarra watches on with tears in her eyes and Sully tells her Great-Grandmother"I'm going to tell Daddy right now about this.Don't worry about a thing."The police carries Tenny away as Ciarra follows and Sully runs across the hall to her Penthouse,and runs in the bedroom and wakes Jared up and tells him"Gran's been arrested!"Jared looks at his wife and shakes his head and Sully gets dressed and heads over to Hell Hill as Jared gets his phone and makes a phone call to Bobby and informs him of Tenny's arrest.
  At City Hospital,the paramedics arrives with Jesse,with Desi by his side and the doctor on staff looks at him and tells Desi"This is bad.He will need immediate surgery if he's going to survive."Desi yells at them"Save him.He saved me!"The Doctor looks at Desi with disgust and responds"If you hadn't of went on that talk show then we'd have a doctor here that could save him."Desi gets angry and yells louder"I would think all of you would be thankful that I exposed the evil bitch that ran this place."The doctor looks at Desi and tells her"That evil bitch and Dr.Evans are the only ones that can perform the operation that Jesse Adams needs if he's going to survive!"Desi is escorted out of the room and looks at her phone to notice that Michael has called her and she returns his call and tells him"I'm at the hospital.Jesse's been shot."Down at The Inn,Michael and Rachel walks into Jesse's room and both of them looks at each other and says"This is about to get worse I believe."Rachel tells her brother"I'm going to my room,you go to the hospital."Michael looks at Rachel and asks her"If you have any problems with any of The Jacksons again,let me know.We are family."Rachel hugs her brother and heads to her room,as Michael heads to the hospital.
  Sully's arrived at Hell Hill and lets herself in and runs up the stairs to Xavier and Leigh's bedroom and finds her mother awake and Leigh tells her daughter"Xavier's already headed to the ALPD."Sully asks Leigh"Does Grandma know yet?"Leigh tells her daughter"Beth's down there too.Desi Lane has started a war that scares the hell out of me."Sully looks up and says"I am scared for Gran.At her age and all,she won't make it in jail."Leigh hugs her daughter and tells her"I don't think we have anything to worry about."Sully sighs and says"I hope you're right."Leigh shakes her head and looks up and says"I hope I am too sweetie.I do too.
  At the ALPD,Beth,Xavier,Ciarra,and Bobby have arrived and Bobby goes to talk to the Police Chief as Beth looks at her son and says with fear in her voice"I am scared son."Xavier hugs his Mother as he assures her"This will be over shortly."Meanwhile,Tenny sits in a cell as she's been booked and Ciarra walks inside and Tenny looks at Ciarra and asks"Who's going to take care of Allan if I'm charged with murder?"Ciarra assures Tenny"Beth and I will take care of him.Bobby Whitten is talking to the Police Chief now and I hope you'll be home by the end of the night."Tenny looks at Ciarra and somberly tells her"I didn't want my daughter to hurt anymore after what Desi has taken from her."Ciarra consoles Tenny as she cries on Ciarra's shoulder.Meanwhile back in the lobby,Bobby walks out with the Police Chief as Beth and Xavier waits anxiously and The Police Chief tells them"I'm letting Ms.Sullivan go and this will be swept under the rug.But we all know Desi will be coming after her with full force."Beth hugs the Police Chief and says"I am ready for Desi and whatever she wants to do.An officer goes back to release Tenny and Beth follows.The Police Chief then tells Xavier and Bobby"I need to tell you two that this isn't over but Desi doesn't have any leverage here now and if it wasn't for your family Xavier,Adam's Landing wouldn't be what it is today.Always remember that whatever happens,the ALPD has your back.Xavier and Bobby thanks him and hands over a check as Tenny walks out,with Beth and Ciarra by her side and Beth takes Ciarra and Tenny back to their Penthouse and Bobby warns Xavier"Things are about to change down here soon Xavier.I hear a new District Attorney is coming to town and it isn't going to be as easy as it was to take care of things on our own."Xavier asks"And who is this new DA?"Bobby responds"Russell Marx."Xavier shakes his head as does Bobby as they leave the ALPD.
  Ava and Winston meanwhile returns to her mansion and Jack's waiting for them as Ava called him on the way back.Winston gives his son a hug as does Ava and Jack asks his Father"You never told me what is wrong?Why are you dying?"Winston looks at Ava,as Winston has trouble explaining it and Ava sits down next to Jack and tells him"Winston has cancer Jack.He will only survive if he can get a bone marrow transplant."Jack asks"Is it Leukemia?Winston responds"Yes it is and so far I haven't found a match."Jack vows"I'll get tested if that works."Ava tells Jack"I've been tested but I didn't match with Winston."Jack tells his father"How long do you have left to live?"Winston looks down and then puts his hands on Jack's shoulders and says"Not long if I don't find a match soon."Ava changes subjects and tells Jack"I am going to tell you something else but not a word is to be said to your Grandmother."Jack asks"What happened?"Ava tells her son"I killed Jamie."Jack isn't surprised and asks"What about Rachel?"Ava looks at Winston and tells Jack"When Winston arrived,the whore bolted."Winston assures them"I wouldn't worry about Rachel.She's at The Inn and she's about to receive a visitor."Ava and Jack smiles as Winston tells them"I never did say this enough but I love the both of you."Jack hugs Winston and Ava is silent as she looks at Winston and tells him"I'll be there for you Winston.You were there for me when I needed you."They hug as Jack walks upstairs into his room and closes the door behind him and remembers his childhood with Winston and he falls to the floor with his hands on his face and starts to cry.
   At City Hospital,Michael has arrived and Desi meets him in the waiting area and Michael asks"How's Jesse?"Desi looks down and says"He's on life support.The doctor said he won't make it."Michael hugs his Mother as she cries on his shoulder and says"Jesse Adams saved my life."In the ICU,The doctors look at each other and says"Desi Lane has hurt this hospital with that interview."The other doctor responds"I know a doctor out west that can save him.I'll give them a call.We need Dr.Jackson and Dr.Evans back if this place knows what's good for it."Both agree and they get out their phones as the first doctor calls the Administrator as the other doctor makes a call to a doctor in Blue Ridge.Meanwhile at The Inn,Rachel is sitting at the bar,by herself and Country walks up behind her and puts a paper bag over her face and drags her out and tells her"Now it's your turn to pay!"
