Daylight And Darkness: Episode 104. Damage Control

   It's the next morning in Adam's Landing,Upstairs in Beth's bedroom,Beth wakes up and looks over and sees Frank laying by her side and she nudges him,whispering"I think you need to sneak out before Mama wakes up."Frank looks at Beth and smiles as Beth smiles back and she says softly"I am glad you were here for me."Frank says to Beth"Just like old times."Frank gets dressed as does Beth and Beth tells Frank"Go through the front door so nobody sees you."Frank and Beth hug and Frank heads home as Beth heads downstairs.In the kitchen,Tenny and Allan are sitting at the table and Tenny asks her son"Want some breakfast?"Allan looks at his Mother and says to her"Only if Beth's cooking or Aunt Ciarra."Tenny laughs and turns on some coffee as Ciarra walks downstairs and Tenny asks her"How are you this morning?"Ciarra says to Tenny"That's a dumb thing to ask me.I feel like my heart's been ripped out of my chest."Ciarra sits down as Beth comes down the stairs and asks Ciarra"How are you?"Ciarra gets angry and yells at everyone"Stop asking me how I feel.I feel lost.That's how I feel!"Tenny tells Beth and Allan"I want the two of you to leave for awhile so I can have some time alone with Ciarra."Beth and Allan obliges and Beth tells Allan"I'll take you out for breakfast.I own a diner."Tenny and Ciarra are alone and Tenny asks her Sister"What have you decided to do about Jacob's funeral."Ciarra looks down and says somberly"Tennessee I don't even want to think about it.I'm taking his ashes to Blue Ridge today and have a private service.Would you go with me?"Tenny grabs Ciarra's hand and tells her"I will.Let's go soon though if you don't want Lily to be a part of it."Speaking of Lily,she walks in unannounced and looks at her Mother and Aunt and asks"So you Martins are still keeping your secrets."Ciarra rolls her eyes as Tenny gives her niece a dirty look.
   At Jackson Inc,Bobby has arrived and Burt is in Xavier's office,holding the current edition of  Aretha's tabloid,The Exposer.Bobby sees the front cover and Burt tells Bobby"This is bad press."Bobby rolls his eyes and pours a strong drink and says to Burt"There's about to be a storm in the Jackson and Evan families that I'm not sure can be fixed and Frank is in deep."Burt asks Bobby"How is Xavier going to take this?"Xavier walks in the office,returning after cutting his honeymoon with Leigh short due to Jacob's death,and tells them"I read it this morning.Who in the hell is Cale Stone?"Bobby is silent and Burt changes subjects and asks"Where's Leigh?"Xavier quickly responds"She's went to see Sully and Jared.We got a war on our hands and I'm pissed."Bobby pulls up the information he's gathered on Cale Stone and Xavier reads on and he looks at Bobby and asks him"Does Frank know about this?"Bobby responds"I don't think he does."Burt tells them"That may explain why he parked in that race in LaFayette."Xavier tells Burt and Bobby"I think we all need to be ready for war.What would possess Aretha to publish this?"Xavier is silent and says"This is about Rachel and Ava isn't it?"Bobby answers Xavier,telling him"Ruth told me on the phone of their fight and Rachel's now Ava's Daughter In Law."Xavier rolls his eyes and tells them"Brace yourselves,Rachel Lane has showed her true colors.And things are only going to get worse."Bobby and Burt agrees with Xavier and they all talk strategy.
   At The Penthouse,Sully and Jared are sitting on the couch,holding hands,having coffee before they head to work and there's a knock at the door.Sully answers it to find her Mom standing on the other side and Sully welcomes her with a hug."Leigh jumps to the subject and asks Jared and Sully"I read this morning's Exposer with Xavier.What's going on?"Sully is suspicious as is Jared and Leigh shows them the paper and they are both shocked and stunned and they are speechless.Sully calmly tells her Mother"Jack and Rachel eloped.Aunt Ava didn't take it well and from the looks of it,she paid Aretha a visit last night."Leigh tells her Daughter and Son In Law"With Jacob's passing and everything that's going on,this family does not need this right now."Sully agrees and tells her Mother"I warned Rachel yesterday that if she caused our family any trouble,she'd have to answer to me."Jared puts his hand on his Wife's shoulder and sternly tells her"After what you've been through,you need to let Ava and Rachel deal with this amongst themselves."Sully tells her Husband and Mom"When Grandma,Gran,and Grandma Ruth sees this,all hell is going to explode."Leigh rolls her eyes and says to them"The only thing I'm worried about is the kid Rachel's carrying.That's my top priority in the matter.I'm not getting involved in this but I'm coming to the store today.There needs to be stablity at Class and I know Ava's temper,and I've heard about The Lanes.This is a disaster."Jared gets a text from Xavier and heads to Jackson Inc,kissing his Wife on the way out and Leigh and Sully heads down to Class to check on things.
   Ava's at her mansion and walks out to the front door and picks up her edition of The Exposer and calmly walks into the kitchen and reads the cover story on her Brother.Ava's phone rings and it's the P.I. she's hired to watch Rachel and he tells her"Jack and Rachel are staying with Aretha."Ava hangs up the phone and thinks of the family and calls her Mother and gets her voicemail.Ava says to herself"You've screwed up big time Rachel."Ava heads out to The Farm to check on Frank and Ruth.At The Farm,Frank arrives and Ruth is waiting at the door for her Son.She is angry and delivers a stinging slap across Frank's face as he walks in and Ruth snaps at him"So you said to me you weren't sleeping with that hussy?"Frank doesn't know what his Mother's referring to and asks her"What are you talking about Mama?'Ruth throws the paper at him and yells"This is what the hell I'm talking about!How do you think Beth will feel when she sees this?"Frank has a look of guilt and is full of emotions as he reads the story.Ruth also asks"And I want to know some more about this Cale Stone boy.Something is amiss with him."Frank tells his Mother"I'm about to fire the son of a bitch.There will be nothing else to know about it.His ass is mine!"Frank storms out and Ruth throws up her hands in disgust and anger as she gets a call from Willie and asks Ruth"Did you read that trash?"Ruth tells Willie"Our daughters has caused a lot of trouble and I am pissed."Willie replies"This only happened for one reason and one reason only."Both Ruth and Willie replies"Rachel."Meanwhile Ava arrives at The Farm and asks her Mother"I take it you know?"Ruth asks Ava"So Rachel married Jack?"Ava rolls her eyes and nods.Ruth is furious and sternly tells Ava"This war with Aretha has caused both of our families much pain!"Ava tells Ruth"I warned Jack and Aretha about Rachel.But they fell for her lies."Ruth tells Ava"I am so angry right now and I don't know what to do.Frank's sleeping with his female driver who's old enough to be his Granddaughter and this Cale Stone,something is familiar about him."Ava assures her Mother"All I was doing was protecting my family Mama."Ruth hugs Ava and tells her"I know you were Ava.But this is going to hurt a lot of people."Ava hugs her Mother as Ruth tells Ava"I want you to call your P.I. and have him do me a favor as well."Ava asks"What is it?"Ruth says sternly"I want to know everything about Cale Stone."Ava makes the call and Ruth gets a text from Bobby.Ruth tells Ava"I think we got our answers on Cale Stone."
   Back at Hell Hill,Ciarra is upset as is Tenny to see Lily as she tells her Mother and Aunt"The two of you were going to go and bury my Daddy and not invite me?"Ciarra starts to cry and gets upset and Tenny sternly tells Lily"After the damage you've done,why would your Mother want you around?"Lily yells at Tenny"You were the one that destroyed my marriage to Burt.Are you going to influence my Mother to do what you did and whore yourself and fly away?"Ciarra gets furious and Tenny delivers a hard slap to Lily and tells her with anger in her voice"Let me tell you one thing you spoiled brat,I will not let you come in here and play the innocent by-standard and take advantage of your Mama like you tried to before.I know why you're here and I won't allow it to happen at her most vulnerable time."Ciarra doesn't speak to Lily and Lily tells her Mother"I deserve to say goodbye to my Daddy.You won't prevent me from it."Ciarra looks at Lily and with tears in her eyes tells her Daughter"I blame you for the reason he's gone.We gave you everything you've ever wanted and you only hurt us time after time.I'm going to mourn my Husband by myself and my Sister will be the only one that will be with me.You need to go home Lily!"Tenny opens the door and tells her Niece"You heard her,get out!"Lily warns them"I may leave here,but I'm going NOWHERE!"Lily storms out and Ciarra breaks down and looks at Tenny and says with tears flowing from her eyes"Let's go on ahead to Blue Ridge.I want to get this finished with."Tenny makes a phone call and tells Ciarra"We'll be in Blue Ridge tonight."Allan returns alone and asks his Mother"Have you seen this?"Tenny sees The Exposer and the cover story and asks Allan"Where is your Sister?"Allan says"I have no idea.She left abruptly after reading the cover story of that tabloid."Tenny tells Allan"I'm going to Blue Ridge with your Aunt.Watch over Beth and help your nephew with Lily"Allan hugs his Mother and Aunt and assures them"I will Mama."Tenny and Ciarra leaves and Allan sits down and looks at the front page and says to himself with suspicion"Allison North?"
   Back at Jackson Inc,Jared has arrived as Xavier and Burt are sitting in the office and Jared asks"Where's Bobby?"Xavier tells Jared"He's went to check on Ruth.How's Sully holding up?"Jared fills Xavier in and says"She's siding with Ava.Xavier quips"That's my Princess.She is smart."Jack arrives at the office and Xavier,Burt,and Jared all look at him and Xavier asks his Nephew"Do you know what you've done?"Jack answers"I married the girl I love."Xavier and Burt laughs and Xavier warns Jack"You should have listened to your Mother."Jack yells"I don't need a damn lecture from you.I know you feel the same way about Rachel as Mom does."Xavier gets up and tells Jack sternly"The only thing concerning that selfish bitch I care about is that kid she's carrying.You're going to get burned Jack.Just watch."Jack walks out of the office and calls his Wife,but gets no response.
   At Class,Sully and Leigh are in Sully's office and they are going over some sales reports and Ava arrives with a look of anger and disgust.Leigh tells Ava"I heard about what happened."Ava shakes her head and Sully and Leigh supports Ava as Rachel walks in the office.All of them give Rachel an evil look and Rachel tells all of them"I'm leaving for a book signing.You gals best behave yourselves or else I may have to expose all of you!"Sully looks at Rachel with anger in her eyes and Ava pulls out a piece of blank typing paper and lights it up and stares intently at Rachel as Leigh walks up to Rachel and tells her sternly"I am only going to tell you this one time and one time only,I know your story and I'd been willing to have your back but you've proved to me what and who you are.If you hurt my family Rachel.You'll answer to me!"Rachel quips"All of you are crazy.Don't burn the store down while I'm gone.I do have stock in this company."Ava coldly answers"Not for long."Rachel smiles and leaves."At The Farm,Bobby's arrived with his laptop and Ruth tells Bobby"Show me what you know about Cale Stone."Bobby pulls up the file and Ruth reads it and has a look of horror and takes a deep breath."Bobby asks Ruth"Are you ok Ruth?"Ruth has a flashback and is silent for a moment and says to Bobby"Frank is going to kill him and he doesn't even know."At Chantel's,Cale is sitting at the bar,reading the cover story he sent to Aretha and smiles and says"Just wait until the next race.Then it's over King Frank!"and heads out.At FJR,Frank walks into the shop and yells"Where is that son of a bitch at?"Beth walks out of Frank's office and delivers a hard slap to Frank,knocking him to the ground and hisses"You lying son of a bitch!I opened up to you,made love to you last night and you've been with this tramp?"Frank is speechless as Allison walks in the shop and Beth looks at her dismissively and tells her"You can have him.You slept your way to the top.There should be a club for people like you!"Beth storms out and Frank has a look of guilt and disappointment and Allison offers to give Frank a hug but Frank rejects her.Frank looks at Allison and doesn't say a word and walks into his office and closes the door behind him.Allison stands outside,and she feels guilty and Cale walks into the shop with a smug look and Allison slaps the smug look off his face and asks him angrily"What in the hell is wrong with you?"Cale says coldly"Payback Allison.Payback!"

   At Class,Rachel and Jack have informed Ava of their elopement.Ava is silent,with her lighter lit,looking at Rachel with anger in her eyes.Sully tells her cousin"Let's go to my office and talk."Rachel snaps"Anything you have to say to my husband you can say to me!"Sully looks at them and goes"Ok then.Jack you are blind and you're a damn idiot to fall in love with this selfish bitch."Ava grins as she watches on and Jack sternly warns Sully"You stay out of this.This doesn't concern you.And I won't tolerate you disrespecting my Wife."Ava pulls out her bottle of liquor and takes a drink and looks up and takes a deep breath.Rachel looks at her and says"Well Mommy,looks like your niece takes after you."Ava coldly says to Rachel"You have one thing saving your worthless ass and that is the fact you're carrying my Brother's child.If it wasn't for that,I'd kill you with my bare hands you disgusting,attention seeking whore!"Jack yells at his Mother"If you can't accept Rachel,then we have nothing to discuss!At least we have our supporters."Ava quips"Who Jack?Winston?He's only using this to get back at me.You'll learn the hard way."Jack responds"We love each other Mom!"Sully tells Jack"Rachel loves Rachel.All she's done since the day she came to town is try to hurt people."Sully walks over to Rachel and warns her"You are the exact replica of your Mother.And if you hurt my family,then Aunt Ava isn't the only one you'll have to answer to!"Sully storms out and Ava tells Jack"I want you to let Rachel and I have a moment alone!"Jack denies his Mother and tells her"Rachel isn't Jamie.You need to move on."Jack and Rachel storms out and Ava shakes her head in disgust and says coldly"Rachel Lane,you don't know what you've started."Ava makes a phone call to a P.I. and tells them"I want you to follow Rachel Hale or Lane or whatever the whore calls herself and fill me in at all times."Ava hangs up the phone and pulls out a piece of blank typing paper and sets it on fire and silently holds the paper,with her anger growing faster by the minute.
   At Jackson Inc,Jared and Burt are sitting in Xavier's office,discussing Jacob's death and Burt receives a report on the race in LaFayette.Jackson Inc sponsors Frank's racing team and Bobby walks in and asks Burt"What do you think about this report?Xavier won't be pleased."Jared tells them"Frank Jackson has the top team in the Cup,but his driver lineup doesn't look great.Allison North looks to have potential and Cale Stone is talented,but he isn't displaying any of it."Frank arrives at Jackson Inc and tells them"Cale intentionally parked out.He cost us a few million with that stunt."Burt looks at Frank and tells him"You are going to have to fire him if he does this again.Xavier expects wins and it took a lot for him to get involved in racing to begin with."Jared tells them"Foodstar has a contract that goes through this season but Xavier told me that it's my call and I don't know much about Stock Car Racing."Frank assures them"I'll take care of Cale Stone and his attitude or else I'll fire him.Allison though has potential so there's nothing to worry about there.I expect her to win before mid season."Burt gets a message and heads out to his office as Jared gets a call from Sully.Jared tells Frank and Bobby"Sully wants to see me.Don't worry about us backing out of our deal."Frank looks at Jared and Jared heads out and Bobby asks Frank"Have you heard about Jacob's passing?"Frank is shocked and says"I knew he wasn't well but I hate to hear that."Bobby tells Frank"I think it could be a good time to support Beth.She could use a shoulder to lean on with Xavier being on his honeymoon."Frank sighs and tells Bobby"You're forgetting one thing however and that is her Mama.Tenny has never forgiven me for my affair with Claudia.And with her here,it will be extremely difficult to do."Bobby looks at Frank and tells him"I think Tenny's let her grudges go.Go see them.Ruth knows and she's sent her condolences."Frank tells Bobby"I'll go see what I can do.I'm not good at giving support in times of grief."Bobby assures Frank as he heads out"Don't worry about the situation with Cale.He just needs a good ass stomping."Frank laughs and heads for Hell Hill,as Bobby sits in Xavier's office and has a thought and says to himself quizzically"Cale Stone?"
   At Hell Hill,Beth and Allan are in the kitchen and Beth is still curious as to what's bothering her Brother.She asks Allan"Tell me what is going on before Xavier returns.He will have enough to deal with already with Lily's arrival."Allan breaks down and tells his Sister"Remember my issues with the record label that made me leave the music business?"Beth responds"And you sold your songwriting credits and moved into a commune?"Allan quips"I took after Mama in the free spirit department."Beth tells Allan"You could have had billions off the rights to your music had you not sold them off."Allan tells Beth"I was tired of the fast living and all Beth.I messed up and I was selfish."Beth asks her Brother"Do you need money?"Allan tells Beth"I have worked out a deal to get my copyrights back from my music as well as masters,but I want to find something else."Beth asks"What's that?Are you still looking for yourself?"Allan sternly responds"I have found myself.I want to find my Daughter."Beth is stunned as is Tenny as she walks downstairs after watching after Ciarra and asks"How many children do you have Allan?"Allan sarcastically responds"I was a rocker.I had groupies but I protected myself."Beth and Tenny sits and listens as Allan explains"Out West,I fell in love with a woman and she was married,she was a die hard fan of mine and we slept together often and well,I didn't protect myself and she ended up pregnant.She had a daughter and then we split after her Husband found out and I joined the commune."Both Beth and Tenny are curious and Tenny asks"How old do you think this girl is Allan?"Allan responds"She's 22 years old.I want to meet her and make up for my absence."Beth and Tenny looks at Allan and they are shocked but Beth warns Allan"That may be hard to do.Believe me on that one.My one nighter years ago with B.R. created Xavier and he didn't find out until B.R. passed.Luckily though he took it well.It may not be like that for you though."Allan sighs and says"I am ready for whatever happens."Beth and Tenny offers their support as there's a knock at the front door and Beth goes to answer it.Beth answers the door and sees Frank and Frank brings flowers and says to his Ex-Wife"I heard about Jacob.I'm sorry Beth."Beth hugs Frank as Beth tells him"I'm holding on."Frank looks at her and says"I know you're hurting Beth.Let me be there for you."Beth smiles and looks at Frank with love in her eyes as Frank looks at her and wipes a tear from her face.
   Meanwhile,Ava's arrived at The Exposer and walks into Aretha's office and yells"You told me that whore was a good girl and yada yada yada?Well she's married now to my Son!"Aretha is shocked and asks Ava"Rachel and Jack really did elope?"Ava is silent for a moment and coldly asks"Did you know about this?"Aretha answers"Yes I did Ava."Ava explodes on Aretha and throws a vase across Aretha's office and screams"That whore has slept her way into my family and you supported her?How dare you!"Aretha gets angry and warns Ava"You need to calm your ass down Ava!You have never gave her a chance to prove herself and all you've done is judged her and cut her down.She loves Jack.."Ava yells"She doesn't love Jack!She is using Jack!She is using you,and your family.I blame you for this Aretha.You will pay for this and Rachel better sleep light because she won't be welcomed in my family.You betrayed me."Aretha yells at Ava"I did not betray you Ava.Rachel needed a friend and someone she could confide in and I was there for her."Ava warns Aretha"I never thought I would see the day that Aretha Evans would become blind and stupid when it comes to attention seeking whores like Rachel Lane.You and I are done and I'll have Bobby arrive tomorrow to get your shares in Class.I want Rachel's too.We're finished."Ava storms out and Aretha is furious at Ava's tactics and texts Rachel,asking her"Are you alright?"Rachel texts back"Ava threatened to kill me.She's out to get me."Aretha gets angry and says to herself"If you want a war Ava,you got one!Aretha calls her publisher and tells them"I want a rush on that story immediately for tomorrow's paper!"
   Burt's arrived at Chantel's and the waiter tells him"Your guest is waiting."Burt walks over and is floored to see his Ex-Wife Lily Corbin sitting there.She looks at Burt and shows him Rachel's book and snarks"I see it was true about you and the tramp after all."Burt rolls his eyes and asks Lily"And I take it you're here only to collect your Daddy's shares?"Lily gets upset and says"Don't go there with me Burt.I love my Mom and Dad
 and you know that so don't even start to bring up my past."Burt looks at Lily and replies"I had a relationship with Rachel long after we divorced.I had the up most respect for Ciarra and Jacob.You however have been counting the hours until this day would come."Lily gets angry and tells her Ex-Husband"I remember when you took advantage of my Aunt Tenny.Do you remember that you self-righteous bastard?Burt tells Lily sternly"Tenny and I had a one time thing.However you were nothing but a spoiled bitch that got everything handed to her by her Parents.I'm warning you Lily,don't expect to swoop in and think you're going to take anything from your Mother or get your Daddy's shares.I'll see to that as well as the rest of your family."Lily quickly responds"Go to Hell Burt."Burt sarcastically responds"I was already there when I was married to you."Burt leaves and makes a phone call as Lily sits at her table and reads her tablet and sees an article on Winston Hale and makes a phone call.
   Jared arrives at Class and Sully is sitting at her desk,in a fury.Jared notices the look in Sully's eyes and asks his Wife"What happened sweetie?"Sully shakes her head in disgust and says"Rachel married Jack."Jared is stunned and says"They seem to be in love with each other."Sully snaps"Aunt Ava's on the mark when it comes to Rachel,that marriage is a joke and Rachel's starting something that is only going to fuel the fire."Jared rolls his eyes and says"I take it Ava's done declared war."Sully quips"Lighters up.Aunt Ava's declaration of battle."At Hell Hill,Ciarra comes downstairs briefly and sees Tenny and Allan and asks"Has Lily showed up yet?"Tenny responds"She isn't here."Allan assures his Aunt"Lily isn't going to cause any problems."Tenny hugs her Sister and tells her"You go rest and we got everything under control."Ciarra thanks Tenny and Allan and heads back upstairs.At Jackson Inc,Bobby is looking up information on Cale Stone and finds something and his jaw drops as he sees it and shakes his head.He gets his phone to call Frank and instead gets a call from Xavier,who tells Bobby"I'll be home tomorrow.Be ready for battle with Lily."Bobby hangs up and looks up and says"This is bad.All of this is real real bad."Ava's returned home and finds Jack coming down the stairs with his bags packed and Ava warns him"I am telling you,Rachel is going to hurt you."Jack snaps"I guess I'll see for myself Mom.You lost me!"Jack leaves,slamming the door and Ava sits on the couch and cries for her son,worried and not wanting to see him get hurt.Aretha's returned home and has informed Willie of Rachel and Jack's marriage.Willie tells Aretha"I know already.Rachel's upstairs,Jack's moving in."Aretha tells her Mother"Ava isn't taking this well and God knows what she's planning."Meanwhile Frank and Beth sits on the Gazebo at Hell Hill and Beth opens up to him on her feelings as Frank holds her in his arms.Beth softly says"I needed this.Thank you for being here for me."Frank and Beth looks at each other in the eyes and Frank tells Beth"Whenever you need me,I'm here.They kiss each other and Beth holds on to Frank as he holds onto her.Back at The Evans Home,Rachel is in her room,and she is reading her tablet and types something in and says to herself"This will free me."

   At The Sunset Club,Winston is having a drink and sees Jack and Rachel arrive,as he welcomes them with open arms.He tells the waiter"Bring a few drinks over to the happy couple!"Rachel reminds Winston"I can't drink alcohol.I'm pregnant."Winston tells Rachel"You're carrying the devil's spawn.A shot of whiskey won't hurt much."Jack asks Winston"Why aren't you at Northbrook?What are you doing in Adam's Landing again?"Winston tells him"Your Mother is full of secrets Jackson.She sold Northbrook and I was evicted."Jack and Rachel are shocked and Rachel,who's curious asks Winston"Why would Ava own your estate?"Winston tells her"I had some trouble with the SEC years ago and I had to sign away ownership of Foodstar to Ms.Jackson as well as Northbrook for protection."Jack tells his adoptive Father"You know as well as anyone when it comes down to the family,Mom has the same ruthless streak Xavier and Grandfather had.She will do anything to protect her family."Winston looks at Rachel and warns his new Daughter In Law"You may want to stay awake at night once Ava finds out you are now Rachel Hale.She could light you up."Rachel smiles and says to Winston"That psychotic bitch doesn't scare me."Jack looks at Winston and his new Wife and shakes his head in silence,dreading what's to come.
  Meanwhile at Hell Hill,Tenny is shocked to see her son,Allan Sullivan arrive and gives him a hug and he asks his Mother"What are you doing here Mama?"Tenny looks at Allan and tells her Son"You have kept up with Beth so I'd imagine you know the situation by now."Allan hugs his Mother and tells her"I know all about the trouble in Monaco.I just hope you're back to stay."Tenny says to Allan"I don't plan to go anywhere.I'd like to but I'm not."Allan notices sadness in his Mother's eyes and asks her"What's wrong Mama?You're not you're usual sarcastic,free spirited self?"Tenny tells Allan to sit on the couch and grabs his hand and tells him"Your Uncle Jacob died last night in his sleep.Ciarra is worrying me."Allan reminds his Mother"Both of you are very much alike.When Dad died,you went off the deep end and slept with Lily's husband and then left town without saying anything."Tenny tells Allan"Lily and Burt divorced years down the road after our tryst.She's going to be trouble.She's on her way to Adam's Landing and I have a feeling it won't go very well once she arrives."Allan changes subjects,and asks Tenny"Where's my Sister?"Tenny tells him"She's at the Hospital.She's doing an autopsy on Jacob.She will be glad to see you."Allan and Tenny hugs and he tells his Mother"I'm here now Mama."Tenny cries on his shoulder as she too mourns Jacob's death as Allan holds his Mother.
   Ciarra has arrived at The Funeral Home and makes the arrangements for Jacob's cremation,telling the funeral director"I don't want no funeral nor viewing,I want this done quickly and swiftly."The Funeral Director asks Ciarra"Ms.Sullivan,don't you want your family here supporting you during this time of mourning?"Ciarra quickly responds"Just do as I say and don't ask me questions."The Funeral Director shakes his head and goes ahead with Ciarra's wishes as Ciarra turns around to leave,she sees Sully standing there and Ciarra asks her"Why are you here?"Sully tells her Great-Aunt"Grandma told me to follow you."Ciarra looks at Sully and calmly says"You shouldn't have done that Sully.I want to be alone.I need to adjust to it."Sully tries to give Ciarra a hug but she rejects it and she tells Sully"If you want to do anything for me,please leave me be.I'll be ok.Jacob's here with me."Sully,who is concerned,asks"Are you sure?"Ciarra quickly responds"Yes.I'm certainly sure."Sully walks out and heads to Class as Ciarra heads back for Hell Hill,her phone rings and she sees it to be her daughter Lily,Ciarra ignores her call and heads out.
  At City Hospital,Beth is in her office with Terrance,going over Jacob's medical records and Beth tells Terrance"My Mama's side of the family was notorious for keeping secrets.Jacob had a bad heart and at his age,he wouldn't have survived either way it went."Terrance asks Beth"How are you handling all of this?You seem a bit distant?"Beth responds"Jacob was the last one left from Daddy's side of the family.When I was a child,my brother Allan and I spent a lot of time with Aunt Ciarra and Uncle Jacob.We always had a great time with them and they treated us like their own.It hurts but after all's that's happened with Xavier,Leigh,Daddy,B.R.,you eventually get to where it doesn't affect you much.It hurts,but you have to move on as Daddy always told me as well as B.R.."Beth notices something with Terrance and asks him"What's bothering you Terrance?"Terrance assures Beth"It's nothing compared to what you're going through."Beth sternly tells Terrance"I may be hurting but I'm all ears if you need to talk to someone.Is this about Barry?"Terrance confides in Beth"I haven't told Mama yet that I'm gay.I'm really scared to how she'll react."Beth looks at Terrance as he tells her"It's hard to open up to her with all the stress she's under with my Daddy,Aretha inviting Rachel to stay with them.Mama's got a big heart and all of this is wearing her down.All this will do is add to it."Beth grabs Terrance's hand and tells him"Willie comes from a different generation than we do Terrance.She will have issues with accepting it,but she won't stop loving you because you're gay."Terrance,frustratingly says to Beth"Aretha tells me times have changed and Adam's Landing has changed,but I don't think so.I feel in a way I've let Mama down.I don't want to lose her love and support if I tell her."Beth looks at Terrance and tells him with confidence"You're a great man Terrance Evans.You have taken excellent care of Sidney and some people in this world are jackasses.It's a part of life.You need to tell Willie and if it helps,do it here at the Hospital.Somewhere safe for you.I'm here for you as well as Aretha.You can do this."Beth gives Terrance a hug and reminds him"Be strong Terrance.You need to do this."Beth leaves and Terrance follows her outside and stands in the hall and is silent,deep in thought and makes a phone call.
   Ciarra's returned to Hell Hill and finds Tenny sitting on the couch with Allan and Ciarra is stunned to see him and Allan walks over to his Aunt and offers his condolences on Jacob's death.Ciarra is silent and Tenny gently tells Allan"Let me have some time with Baby Sister.Go explore the estate.Beth will be here soon."Allan walks out and Ciarra looks at Tenny,shaking her head and says"It's really real isn't it?"Tenny sighs and says"It is Ciarra.You need to deal with this.Lily's on her way to town and.."Ciarra stops Tenny and asks her Sister with anger growing in her voice"You called Lily?Why did you call Lily?"Tenny reminds Ciarra"She is your Daughter and she needs to know about this."Ciarra gets angry and yells at Tenny"I have not spoke to her in a few years Tennessee and I have my reasons.You needed to leave her out of it.I do not want her around!"Tenny grabs Ciarra and tells her sternly"Lily will not cause you any problems Ciarra.I know what she tried to do.I may have been gone,but I have kept up on things.You got your family and we're all here for you so you remember that!"Ciarra takes a deep breath and tells her Sister"It's hard enough to accept the fact that Jacob is gone,but Lily is going to make things much worse!"Ciarra heads upstairs and Tenny watches on and has a few flashbacks and Beth arrives and notices her Mother is quiet and asks her"Did Ciarra return?"Tenny nods and tells her Daughter"I hate to do this Beth but I think Xavier needs to come back home."Beth responds"Lily?"Tenny replies"She's on her way and we both know Lily."Beth rolls her eyes as does Tenny."
   At Class,Sully arrives and Ava's sitting at her desk and plays with her lighter.Sully asks her Aunt"I take it Winston knows about you're deal?"Ava shakes her head and says"Yes he does and I have a feeling it's about to get worse."Sully tells Ava"Uncle Jacob died last night in his sleep.Aunt Ciarra is in shock and Grandma is holding strong."Ava gives Sully a hug and asks"How's Tenny handling everything."Sully sighs"It's affected her too as Uncle Jacob was the last Sullivan left.I am going to check on them later.Gran's staying at the main house with Grandma and Aunt Ciarra so they got each other."Ava hugs Sully and tells her"Let Ciarra know that We're here for her also.As Tenny said,The Jacksons and the Sullivans are always connected and we're all in this together."Sully thanks her Aunt and Ava gets a call from her receptionist,telling her"You have a visitor."Ava tells the receptionist"Send them in."
  At The Sunset Club,Winston sits in his suite and gets a phone call,informing him of Jacob's passing.Winston hangs up the phone and is quiet for a moment and makes another call.Meanwhile downstairs,Ciarra and Jacob's Daughter,Lily Corbin is checking in and tells the attendant"Send my bags to my room,I have somewhere to go."At Hell Hill,Allan returns to the house and Beth is shocked to see her Brother and welcomes him with a hug and tells him"It's been too long Allan!"Allan responds"I totally agree Big Sis.It seems you're still keeping everything together."Beth sighs"I'm trying Allan.I just called Xavier and he and Leigh are returning home.We need all the support we can get with Lily's arrival."Allan agrees with his Sister and tells her"I'm here for the long haul.I need some help myself."Beth asks"What kind of help?Money?"Allan tells Beth"I'll tell you later when Xavier returns."Upstairs,Ciarra's laying on the bed in the guest room,curled in a fetal position and cries to herself.Tenny is outside the door and walks in the room and Ciarra yells"Leave me alone damnit!You've already caused enough trouble!"Tenny sits on the bed and Ciarra breaks down and Tenny holds her Sister as she cries for Jacob.Tenny tells Ciarra in a stern,but sensitive tone"You have your family Ciarra and you pull it together.You have nothing to fear."Ciarra holds onto Tenny as she consoles Ciarra.At Class,Sully and Ava are in the office as Jack and Rachel walks into the office and Ava's eyes turns red and she asks her Son"Why weren't you at your Uncle's wedding?"Rachel smirks and kisses Jack on the lips as Sully rolls her eyes and Ava pours a hard drink and Rachel snarks at Ava"Aren't you going to welcome me into the family Mommy?"Sully is floored as is Ava as Rachel shows off her wedding ring and says to Ava"Your Son and I are married now!Get used to it bitch!"Ava is in shock and is speechless,as she drops her glass to the floor,and she pulls out her lighter and lights it up,staring at Rachel with an evil look as Sully looks on with disgust and Ava is silent,with her lighter lit,looking at her new Daughter In Law.

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 101. Inmortal Love

   It's the next morning in Adam;s Landing and at Hell Hill,Beth walks downstairs and smells something burning in the kitchen.Tenny's cooking breakfast and Beth shakes her head and tells her Mother"What do you think you're doing Mama?"Tenny smiles and sarcastically responds"I'm refreshing myself on cooking.I just remembered why your Daddy never let me in the kitchen."Beth laughs as does Tenny and they have coffee and discuss Xavier and Leigh's wedding the day before.Beth tells her Mother"Xavier and Leigh made a detour and went to the islands since there's a huge snowstorm in Blue Ridge."Tenny asks"How often does it snow in Adam's Landing?"Beth quips"At least once or twice every 4 to 5 years."Tenny tells Beth"I think I could live here since I don't have to worry about Jack Frost attacking every other month."Beth and Tenny laughs and then Beth says to Tenny"Aunt Ciarra and Uncle Jacob are sleeping late this morning.Normally they are up at Sunrise."Tenny reminds Beth"Ciarra,Jacob,and I aren't as young as we used to be and baby sister needs her beauty rest."Beth laughs and says to her Mother"Still arguing over who's the youngest are you?"Tenny quips with a smile"It keeps us fiery in our old age."Upstairs,Ciarra wakes up and says with a yawn"We overslept Pa.Time to wake up.I think Tennessee's trying to cook."Jacob's eyes are closed with a smile on his face.Ciarra says to her Husband once again"Jacob,wake up love."Ciarra is scared and grabs his hand and notices it's cold and has no pulse.Ciarra is silent as tears well up in her eyes and says calmly"This isn't real.Wake up Pa.Wake up please!"Jacob's gone and Ciarra lays her head on his chest,holding his hand and cries,as she knows it's real and she's in shock and cries"What will I do without you Pa?"
   At The Exposer,Aretha is in her office and she's still reading the article she recieved a few weeks back.She is eyeing it and has a flashback to her fight with Ava a few nights back and shakes her head.She calls Rachel,who didn't come home the night before and gets no answer,causing Aretha to worry about her.The receptionist informs Aretha"Your Brother's here to see you."Aretha answers"Let him in."Terrance quips to his sister"Mama's going to be mad you weren't home for breakfast this morning."Aretha asks him"I take it you're her messenger?"Terrance responds"I went to check on Dad.It's getting worse.Mama isn't accepting the fact that he won't get better."Aretha says to Terrance"He knows who Mama is and who we are but he can't acknowledge us.I'm trying to persuade her to let a nurse stay with her.It's taking a toll on her and it breaks my heart."Terrance tells Aretha"I don't think having Rachel stay there helps much either.Mama told me about what happened with you and Ava."Aretha tells her Brother"I didn't stay for Xavier and Leigh's wedding.I left them a gift from all of us and left.Ava needs to step back and give Jack some independence."Terrance reminds Aretha"You should take into consideration that after all that Ava's been through over the years,she's only doing what any Mother would do and that's trying to protect her son.Rachel is out for herself Aretha.Her drama isn't helping anything at home as well.Mama's got enough on her plate and she doesn't need to be worrying about Rachel also."Aretha gets upset and tells Terrance"Since we're on the righteous path,did you tell our Mama your secret yet?"Terrance responds"I haven't yet.I plan to real soon."Aretha tells Terrance"Rachel is a good girl that has had it bad in her life.She needs someone to look out for her.And it's time you come out.You'd feel better and you wouldn't have to hide anymore."Terrance is quiet and looks at his watch and tells Aretha"I'm going to the Hospital.Beth's taking some time off to spend with her family so I'm watching over things.Just remember what I said about Rachel.I side with Ava."Terrance leaves and Aretha once again calls Rachel but gets no response.
   At FJR,Frank arrives and checks the results from the Season Opener in LaFayette and he isn't pleased at all.Cale Stone finished 35th out of 40 cars in Michael's former ride as Allison finished in the Top 10,finishing 7th.Frank walks out into the shop and pulls his Team Director to the side and angrily asks"What in the hell happened with Cale's car?"The Team Director responds"He parked it after a few laps."Frank is heated and yells"I hope his ass is in town because I'm about to personally give him his damn walking papers and yours as well for recommending him.I don't run a damn start and park team."Frank walks back to his office and is furious and finds Allison waiting for him in his office.Allison notices Frank's anger and asks her boss"We did well in LaFayette.I'm proud of my team."Frank tells Allison"I am glad you did well.I'm pissed at Cale Stone.He's about to lose his damn ride if this keeps up.Thank God I have great sponsors.If not they'd bolted after his stunt in LaFayette."Allison gives Frank a kiss and assures him"Everything will be ok Frank.FJR's going to do great this year."Frank and Allison looks at each other and he returns her kiss and pulls back and stops for a moment and looks down and is quiet and embarrassed.Allison asks him"What's wrong Frank?"Frank tells Allison"After the test session a few weeks back,I swore that was it."Allison assures Frank"I'm your driver and you're my boss and my childhood hero.I know it's weird to have feelings for your driver and all."Frank says to Allison"Times have changed Allison.But I don't know what to say.I haven't forgotten about our night at the test session."Frank tells Allison"I'll meet with you later and we'll discuss your strategy for the next race."Allison silently leaves.Unknown to Frank and Allison,Cale was outside the office and has snapped a photo of Frank and Allison's kiss and makes a phone call.Frank walks out of his office and sees Cale and tells him"You and I got some things to discuss!"Frank points to his office and Cale goes inside as Frank follows."
   At Class,Ava is in her office and makes a phone call to Jack and doesn't get no response and she says to herself"Maybe I'm wrong about Rachel.Maybe she isn't so bad."Ruth arrives and asks Ava"Did you get in touch with Jack?"Ava responds"No I didn't.He's mad at me and maybe I deserve it."Ruth tells her Daughter"You are only doing what any Mother would do Ava.But remember one thing.Rachel is carrying your Brother's child and if you did anything to cause her to lose the baby.It would hurt this family and we need no more of that in our family."Ruth changes subjects and asks"Where's Sully this morning?"Ava answers"She's at the Hospital.She had an appointment with Dr.Cole.I think the way things are going,maybe I need to see him too."Ruth advises Ava"That may be a good idea."Meanwhile,Jack and Rachel are in a hotel room in Southpoint Beach and Andy arrives at their room and warns Jack and Rachel"You better pay me nicely for this because this isn't going to be good at all."Rachel quickly responds"With the royalties I make off my book.You'll be rewarded nicely."Andy tells them"I want to repair my life and all but if the two of you truly love each other,then I don't have any problems."Rachel quickly snaps"Let's just do it already."
   Back at Hell Hill,Beth and Tenny are in the kitchen and both are growing concerned about Ciarra and Jacob as Tenny's filled Beth in on Jacob's health.Ciarra walks down the stairs calmly and silently and looks at her Sister and Niece.Ciarra is silent and can't speak and Beth asks her Aunt"What's wrong?"Tenny notices Ciarra's looks and motions and is silent as well as Ciarra says slowly,holding back the tears,in a somber tone,with her hands shaking"Jacob is gone.My Husband's gone."Beth and Tenny grabs Ciarra and holds her as she says to them starting to cry"I don't believe this."Beth calls the paramedics and goes to Ciarra and Jacob's room as Tenny sits down with Ciarra and holds her hand as Ciarra says somberly"He was so excited to see Xavier and Leigh renew their vows.Tennessee I am scared."Tenny,fighting back tears tells her Sister"I know how it is to lose the one you love.It's the end of an era.All of the Sullivans are gone now.Just think of the reunion he's having right now with my J.D."Ciarra shakes her head and asks Tenny"What do I do Tennessee?How do I move on.60 years and now he's gone."Tenny assures Ciarra"Jacob didn't die suffering as J.D. did.You were with him and he was at peace.He went the way we all want to go."Ciarra is shocked and stunned as the Paramedics arrive and Beth walks back down and tells her Aunt"It's real."The Paramedics arrives to take Jacob's body to City Hospital and Beth tells her Aunt"I am going to do an immediate autopsy on him and you figure out how you want to handle this."Ciarra tells Beth"I don't know how to break this to Lily.She didn't know his health was failing.He didn't want her to worry."Tenny and Beth holds Ciarra as they all cry together and Tenny tells her Sister"You have to call her.She needs to know.Don't make the mistakes I did.You have your family Ciarra.I'm here for you."Jacob's Body is carried out and Ciarra follows the Paramedics and asks them"Can I ride with you?"They nod and Ciarra climbs in and grabs Jacob's hand as Tenny and Beth follows.Tenny tells her Daughter"I'm going to call Lily and you go to the Hospital."Beth asks her Mother"Are you ok?"Tenny tries to smile and holds her Daughter's hand and says"I'm ok Beth.I just want to be alone."Beth understands and leaves as Tenny sits down and looks up and shakes her head silently and cries.
   At FJR,Frank and Cale are finishing up on their discussion and Frank sternly tells him"I have built this team from my bare hands without any help.If you ever do what you did again.I'll whoop your ass into next year."Cale tells Frank"We had a vibration,out of my control."Frank yells"Vibration my ass!That car should have won!You get the hell out of here and remember what I've told you."Cale snaps at Frank"Maybe you should be more of a hands on owner and be at the track or are you too damn scared old man?"Frank gets up and snarls"You cocky son of a bitch."Cale walks out with a smile on his face and Ruth has overheard the conversation and asks Frank"That kid needs his ass whooped if you ask me."Frank shakes his head and says"I don't understand these young drivers these days."Ruth agrees and reminds Frank"At least your other driver did well so it will work out."Frank is silent,shaking his head in frustration.Cale is outside the shop and runs into Allison and she sees him and says"How did it go with Frank?"Cale angrily asks Allison"How was the sex with the old man Allison?"Cale leaves and Allison has a look of defeat as she heads back in the shop.
   Aretha is at the Exposer,still unable to get in touch with Rachel and is worried about her and she receives a picture from Cale of Frank and Allison.Aretha is silent and saves the picture and finally receives a text from Rachel,saying"I'll be back in town tonight."At Class,Ava's in her office and Winston walks into the office with a look of anger and yells at Ava"You have messed with the wrong man you psycho!"Ava sits back in her chair and calmly asks"What's wrong Winston?"Winston shows her his eviction notice and tells Ava"At least you won't be happy too long."Ava asks Winston"What do you mean Winston?"On a plane,heading back to Adam's Landing,Rachel and Jack sits next to each other and Rachel kisses Jack and says"It's official now."Jack gives Rachel a kiss as he is quiet.Rachel reminds Jack"Mommy Dearest can't do a thing about us now."Jack tells Rachel"She won't take this well."Rachel looks at her wedding ring and looks out the window and smiles,thinking to herself"I know she won't."At City Hospital,Beth and Terrance are outside the morgue as Ciarra's inside with Jacob.Sully runs into her Grandmother and notices Beth's sadness and asks"What happened?"Beth tells Sully"Uncle Jacob passed away last night."Sully is saddened and hugs her Grandmother and tells her"Daddy will hate this."Beth quietly says"I let him know and he's sending Aunt Ciarra flowers and has offered to pay for the funeral or whatever Aunt Ciarra decides to do."Ciarra walks out of the Morgue and tells Beth"Go ahead and make the call to the funeral home.He wanted to be cremated and that way we can give him what he wants."Beth and Sully hugs Ciarra and Ciarra begins to leave.Beth whispers to Sully"Go with her.She doesn't need to be by herself."Sully follows as Beth's asked.At Hell Hill,Tenny's in the living room and is silent and sees J.D. and Jacob's spirit and Jacob tells Tenny"Tell Ma I'm fine."Tenny wipes a tear from her eye and says"I will.Watch over us."Both J.D.and Jacob replies"Always"as they disappear.Tenny turns on the TV and there's a knock on the door.Tenny answers the door and is stunned and shocked at who's arrived as the man says"I'm home Mom."

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 100. The Wedding Part 2

   On the Gazebo at Hell Hill,everything is set up for Xavier and Leigh's wedding.The family has gathered and each of them takes their places as the aisle's showered with white rose pedals and Jared,Burt,and Country has taken their places on the Gazebo.Beth stands on the other side with Sully standing next to her as Andy stands on the steps of the Gazebo as Bobby stands next to him and everyone is full of emotions.Xavier stands next to Bobby and looks at the gathering of family and friends and looks at his Mother and Daughter,who look at him with tears of joy as they see the love in his eyes and all are silent as the music begins to play.
  Leigh stands at the end of the aisle and Frank stands next to her and gives her a kiss on the cheek and Leigh looks at him and smiles and looks at Xavier,standing at the alter,as both of their eyes meet.Frank walks Leigh up the aisle,arm in arm,slowly as everyone watches on,Ruth,Ciarra,and Tenny wipes tears from their eyes as all of them are overwhelmed and Beth and Sully does the same.Ava sits next to her Mother and Ruth holds her hand as Ava has a smile on her face and is happy for her Brother.Jacob holds Tenny and Ciarra's hands as they watch on as Frank and Leigh walks up the aisle and Leigh takes her place,standing across from Xavier as Andy begins by saying"Today family and friends,we're here to gather as my Uncle,and his beautiful Wife renew their vows in matrimony.Andy asks Xavier"Xavier Jackson,do you take this woman,Leigh Woods Jackson to be your lawfully wedded wife,to love,honor,and cherish as long as each of you shall live?"Xavier calmly says,looking at Leigh,both looking each other in the eye and says calmly"I do."Andy then asks the same question to Leigh.Leigh says tearfully"Yes I do."Bobby then gives the rings to Andy as he passes the rings,which were previously given to Xavier and Leigh by Tenny and Ciarra and gives the rings to Xavier and Leigh,Andy then tells everyone"Now is the time for the vows."Xavier grabs Leigh's hand and places the ring Ciarra given her on her finger,and looks at her tearfully and says to her"This seems unreal that we are here.As years ago I thought you had been taken from me.I never dreamt that you was still alive though I always carried you in my heart and never stopped loving you.I wake up every day with a feeling of completeness,knowing you're here and that we are together once again.You've given me everything I've ever needed and many precious moments and gifts that words cannot be expressed.I promise to honor you,love you,take care of you,and be by your side in life and in death,for nothing shall ever break us apart."Leigh is overwhelmed with tears as Andy looks at Leigh and Leigh looks into Xavier's ,holding tight to his hand and places J.D.'s ring on his finger and says to him with tears flowing"When I first met you 23 years ago,I fell for you at that very moment.I knew I found my best friend,confidant,the man I would spend the rest of my years with.Although we've been kept apart,our hearts were always together as were we through our beautiful Daughter.As we start this next chapter in our lives with two new additions to our beautiful family.I'm the luckiest woman in the world to have a man like you in my life as it's very rare to find your soul mate."Beth and Frank stands next to each other,holding each other's hands tightly as Jared and Sully holds hands and watches on.Ruth and Ava watches on with tears in their eyes as does Tenny,Ciarra and Jacob.J.D.'s spirit is there standing next to Tenny as B.R's spirit is standing by Ruth.Andy then asks"Are there any objections as to why these two shouldn't be joined in holy matrimony?"Everyone's silent and Andy then says"By the powers vested in me by the Church and the State,I announce you husband and wife.Xavier you may kiss the bride.Xavier gently pulls up Leigh's veil and puts his arms around her as she does the same and they share a passionate kiss.Everyone cheers as Xavier and Leigh holds on to each other and looking at each other deeply in the eyes as Xavier says softly and tearfully to his Wife"I love you Leigh Jackson."Leigh kisses Xavier and says"I love you too X."They run down the aisle and everyone heads to the Main house for the reception.
   At the Hell Hill estate,everyone has gathered around as Xavier and Leigh stands in the center of the room and Xavier and Leigh cuts the wedding cake and pop open a bottle of champagne.Xavier is the first to make the toast,saying looking at his wife"To us and to the next chapter of our lives."Everyone raises their glasses and Xavier and Leigh's song is played and they take to the dance floor and has the first dance with each holding onto each other tightly,staring at each other in the eyes intently."Beth stands next to Frank and Beth says with tears flowing"This was perfect."Frank looks at Beth and says to her"You did a great job Beth,raising Xavier."Beth reminds Frank"We were married at one time and I wasn't alone in raising him.You didn't do too bad yourself."Frank shrugs and says"I wasn't the best father in the world and though I'm his Brother,I'll always see him as a son."They head out to dance as Sully and Jared stands to the side and Sully's quiet,watching her parents with a smile on her face and Jared asks his Wife"May I have this dance with you."Sully leads Jared out to the dance floor as they also dance together."Ava and Country dances with each other as Burt and Bobby stands to the side,watching on silently.Andy walks up to Ruth and asks his Grandmother"May I have this dance with you?"Ruth wipes away her tears and says to Andy"You certainly may.I'm proud of you Andy."Tenny,Ciarra,and Jacob sits on the sidelines as Tenny watches everyone and tells Ciarra"This couldn't have went any better."Ciarra looks at her Sister and says with a smile"I agree.This was heaven."Ciarra looks over to her Husband and holds his hand.They look at each other and Ciarra asks Jacob"Pa are you ok?"Jacob wipes a tear from his eye and says to his Wife"This was just like a fairy tale Ma."Ciarra and Jacob holds on to each other as Tenny feels J.D.'s presence and sheds a tear and watches on as they all celebrate this moment.
   After the dance is over and the ceremonies and reception winds down,Xavier and Leigh gets ready to leave for their Honeymoon.Everyone gathers as Xavier and Leigh stands at the door and Leigh holds her bouquet and Xavier holds Leigh's garter as they throw it in the crowd.Beth catches Leigh's boquet as Burt catches the garter and everyone cheers as Xavier and Leigh waves goodbye as they leave for a short Honeymoon in Blue Ridge in the Mansion they shared together many years ago.Tears of joy are flowing from everyone in the room as they wave back at Xavier and Leigh as they leave.There's a moment of silence as Tenny says to everyone in the room as Beth,Sully,Jared,Frank,Ruth,Ava,Country,Burt,Andy,Ciarra,and Jacob listen on as Tenny says"I would like to make a toast now"To The Sullivan's and The Jackson's,forever connected and To Xavier and Leigh,may they be together for all their days and in love and bliss as I was with J.D. and My Sister Ciarra and Jacob.All toasts and everyone begins to head home.Jacob heads upstairs and Ciarra follows him as he tells his Wife"Today was perfect as it should be."Ciarra agrees with a kiss as they go into their room and lay down to call it a day.Sully and Jared arrives at The Penthouse a few moments afterwards and Gabriella asks"How was the wedding?"Sully asks Gabriella"Why didn't you come?You were more than welcome to."Gabriella tells her son and daughter in law"I don't do weddings.It was already perfect and everyone's at peace now."Sully and Jared goes to their bedroom and Sully looks at her Husband with tears in her face"My family's together now."Jared holds her as they give each other a kiss and goes to bed.Ruth,Frank,Ava,and Andy are at B.R.'s grave and Ruth says"We had angels today watching over all of us."Frank and Ava smiles and hugs their Mother as Ruth kisses B.R.'s headstone and they head away.At Hell Hill,Beth and Tenny are in the kitchen,having a cup of coffee and both of them are all smiles as Beth says to her Mother"You made a beautiful toast!You can surprise me sometimes."Tenny smiles and grabs Beth's hand and says to her Daughter"I meant every word of it my sweet Beth."J.D.'s spirit is in the kitchen,he touches Tenny and heads upstairs to Ciarra and Jacob's room.Ciarra and Jacob are laying next to each other,holding each other's hand as Jacob sees his Brother standing there and looks at Jacob and Jacob looks at Ciarra and kisses her as she sleeps.On Xavier's jet,Xavier and Leigh sits next to each other as Leigh lays her head on her Husband's shoulder.She says to Xavier"Today was perfect.I love you."Xavier gives Leigh a kiss and tells his Wife"I love you too.Always and Forever."

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 99. The Wedding Part 1

   It's the big day in Adam's Landing.At Hell Hill,Beth's busy making calls to caterers and the band to make sure everything goes to plan.She receives a phone call from Sully and is told"Mom didn't show up last night."Beth is curious,remembering Leigh leaving the bachelorette party the night before and tells her Granddaughter"I have an idea where she could be."Beth walks upstairs to Xavier's room and notices Leigh and Xavier laying in bed together.Beth yells"Xavier and Leigh,you two weren't supposed to be together before the wedding!"Xavier and Leigh looks at Beth and reminds her"We're still married.We have trouble sleeping when we're not with each other."Beth tells them"Well it's time to prepare for the wedding.Sully will be over shortly with your tuxedo and the dress."Xavier and Leigh gets up and Xavier tells Leigh with a smile"Today is the big day.Are you excited?"Leigh says calmly"I'm ready X."They kiss and Sully and Jared arrives downstairs.Sully tells Jared"Do your best to keep the bride and groom apart."Jared looks at his Wife and says"Remember who we're talking about Sully.If your Dad wants to see his bride,nothing will stop him."Sully holds Jared and laughs and says with a tear"Daddy's dream has come true as well as mine.Today will be perfect."Beth greets them and tells them"Let's get things started."
   Ciarra,Jacob,and Tenny are at Percy's having breakfast together and Tenny quips"It's really early to start getting ready for a wedding."Ciarra replies to her Sister"Xavier takes after his Grandma."Tenny gives a dirty look to Ciarra and says"I'm a very patient person Ciarra."Ciarra quips"Oh yes Tennessee,very very patient."Jacob tells his Wife and Sister In Law"I hope today goes well for Xavier and Leigh.They deserve some happiness after all they've been through."Tenny tells them"They remind me so much of all of us,J.D. and I,the two of you.You know true love when you see it."All agrees and finishes up.Tenny shows Ciarra and Jacob a ring and tells them"I'm giving this to Xavier.J.D. wore this all the time.I don't think he would mind him wearing it."Jacob says "I don't think he would either."Jacob looks at his ring and looks at Ciarra and says"I remember when J.D.and I was in Europe during the war and you girls worked in the ammo factory and made these rings.J.D would be honored."Ciarra agrees as does Tenny and says"All and all and though I've made my mistakes,my Grandson has done our family proud with Jim's and keeping the family legacy alive."All of them nod and as Jacob heads up slowly to pay their ticket,Tenny notices something with Jacob and asks Ciarra"Is Jacob ok?He looks pale."Ciarra is quiet and says"Tennessee,he's not well.After the wedding's over,Beth's going to give him a check up.He doesn't show it but he's sick."Tenny is concerned and asks Ciarra,noticing she's distant"What's wrong with him?"Ciarra grabs her Sister's hand and says"I just enjoy each moment I have with him.He's sick Tennessee."Jacob walks back over to the table and tells Ciarra and Tenny"Let's go."Ciarra whispers to Tenny"Just keep this to us for now until Beth finds out for sure what's wrong."Tenny gives Ciarra her word and they head back to Hell Hill."
   At The Farm,Ruth's dressed for the wedding and walks into the living room and notices Frank agitated.She asks her Son"What's wrong Frank?"Frank says in frustration"Michael left FJR.He's driving for Jesse Adams' team this year.Damn!"Ruth tells her Son"You have one of the top Stock Car teams in the Cup.You should have no trouble finding a driver to fill his seat."Frank replies"I wish he'd told me about this before he left town so I could have been prepared.Allison's a rookie and we needed Michael.He was a sure shot for the Cup this year.I have to make a few calls and see if I can find someone to fill his seat."Ruth stops Frank and says to him sternly"Today is Xavier and Leigh's wedding.Worry about that after the wedding's over with."Frank says"I may drive in the season opener if I can't find someone else to take his seat."Ruth gives Frank a dirty look and points at him and says sternly"No you won't!After your last race,I can't handle you driving a Stock Car again.Frank you're not a young man anymore.Call your team and tell them to find someone to take his seat because it sure as hell won't be you!"Frank shrugs"Ok Mama."Frank and Ruth begins to head out to Hell Hill and Frank gets a phone call from a member of his team and says"We've found a driver,Cale Stone."Frank is quiet and asks"He's a rookie isn't he?"Frank tells him"Tell Cale I'll meet with him tomorrow and we'll discuss everything."Ruth's in the car and yells"Come on Frank!"Frank and Ruth heads out to Hell Hill and Ruth tells Frank"Turn your phone off!"Frank silences the ringer and off they go.
   Back at Hell Hill,Ava has arrived along with Ciarra,Tenny,and Jacob.Beth walks over to Ava and warns her"Aretha will be here today and don't cause a scene like you did last night."Ava tells Beth"As long as Rachel isn't with her,I don't think we have nothing to worry about."Beth tells Ava"Rachel isn't coming nor is Jack."Ava gets suspicious and tells Beth"That little whore is doing her best to turn my Son against me.I won't play it Beth.Rachel Lane will never be welcomed in my family."Beth sternly says to Ava"I understand your sentiments towards Rachel Ava,trust me I do,but she is carrying a member of your family.None of us are pleased but we need to just deal with it and move on.Today's about Xavier and Leigh.It will stay that way!"Ava agrees with Beth begrudgingly and Ruth and Frank arrives and Aretha shortly follows and Ava and Aretha exchange dirty looks at each other.Ruth rolls her eyes and walks towards her Daughter and warns her"Don't start nothing Ava."Ava looks at her Mother and says"I can't promise anything."Meanwhile Beth gets a phone call and is told the Reverend that was originally going to do the wedding won't be able to make it.The person tells Beth"We're sending one of our newest Ministers will be officiating the wedding."Beth hangs up the phone and the Minister arrives.Beth,Ruth,Frank,and Ava are all floored when they see the Minister, Brock Jr's son,Andy.Beth looks up and says"This could turn ugly when Xavier finds out."Andy tells his family"I joined the Ministry after being released from Prison in Europe."Beth asks in a serious tone"Can you prove you're an actual Minister?"Andy shows them and Ruth hugs her Grandson and says"I am glad you've turned things around."Frank also compliments him while Ava asks"Are you playing Preacher to help Junior steal the family legacy again?"Andy looks at his Aunt and says"I have no interest in it nor have I ever.That was all on him and Tommy."Ruth believes him saying"You were the best one out of Junior's children Andy."Frank agrees and Ava has her doubts but stays quiet.Beth tells everyone to head down to the Gazebo and take their seats as she goes to check on Xavier and Leigh.Everyone heads out as the wedding is soon to start.
   Upstairs,In Xavier's bedroom,Sully and Ciarra are with Leigh as she's dressed and Leigh gets the jitters and compliments Sully,telling her"This wedding dress is absolutely beautiful."Sully smiles and says"I made sure everything was as perfect as possible.I think Daddy's going to love this."Ciarra gives Leigh a gift and Leigh opens it and sees a ring that Ciarra and Tenny made while working in the Ammo factory during World War 2.Leigh starts to cry and Ciarra tells Leigh"I made many of these as did Tenny and I would be honored for you to wear this on your finger."Leigh gives Ciarra a hug and thanks her and Ciarra tells Leigh"It's a tradition to pass this down in the future."Sully smiles as Leigh looks at her Daughter and says"I'll wear this forever Ciarra.When it's time to pass it on,I'll have three choices as to whom to pass this to."Beth walks in the room and says"It's time to start the wedding."The ladies heads downstairs as Beth goes to check on Xavier.In another room upstairs,which was B.R's bedroom,Xavier is dressed and tells his Son In Law"My Princess did a great job on this Tuxedo."Jared says"She's been working day and night on this.She is so happy."Xavier hugs Jared and says"My family's together and with the new additions coming,it's only going to be better."Jacob is in the room and sits quietly,with tears in his eyes and says"You remind me so much of J.D. Xavier.I think Sully looked at J.D. and Tennessee's wedding photo when designing that Tux."Jared responds"She was looking through all the family albums.She wanted it to be perfect."Tenny walks into the room and tells Jacob and Jared"May I have a moment with Xavier?"Jacob and Jared walks out and Jacob pats Tenny on the back on the way out.Tenny sits on the bed and tells her Grandson"Xavier Jackson,I am so proud of you."Xavier looks at Tenny and says"I am only seeing to it our legacy lives on for generations to come."Tenny laughs"You've got a huge family on the horizon my boy."Tenny walks over to Xavier and holds him and says"I want to give this to you.I have held on to this every single day since J.D. died and it's time that you have it."Tenny gives the ring to Xavier and Xavier's taken back and is deeply humbled and says"Grandma I loved this ring.Papaw wore this all the time."Tenny says with tears"Ciarra and I made rings from bullet shells in the Ammo Factory in Blue Ridge during World War 2.I sent this to him in Europe when he was on the battlefield and we wore these as a sign of togetherness.He would want you to have this."Xavier thanks his Grandmother with a hug and kiss on the cheek and tells her humbly"I don't know what to say."Tenny cries with a smile and walks out as Beth walks in the room and asks her Son with tears in her eyes"Are you ready Xavier?"Xavier tells her"Yes I am Mother."Beth warns him"Andy's the minister.The Reverend we originally asked had to back out."Xavier calmly and cautiously asks"Brock Jr's son Andy?"Beth sighs and says"Yes son.He is a Minister now ironically.He always had some smarts."Xavier says to his Mother"Nothing will ruin this day for me."Beth hugs her son and they head to the gazebo as the wedding's about to start.
 

Daylight And Darkness: Episode 98. The Night Before

   It's evening time in Adam's Landing and at Hell Hill,Beth and Sully are getting everything ready for Leigh's Bachelorette's party before the wedding.Leigh arrives with Xavier and Beth tells her son"It's ladies only tonight Xavier!"Xavier quips"It's my damn house."Sully walks over to her Father and tells him"I think you have some people waiting for you down at The Sunset Club.Jared told me about it."Xavier gives Sully a hug as well as Leigh and he says"I guess I'll be sleeping alone tonight too?"Leigh reminds Xavier"It's bad luck to see the Bride before the wedding X."Xavier sighs and tells Sully"You better take care of her.She's carrying some precious cargo."Sully looks at her Father and says"You go have fun.Mom will be fine!"Xavier leaves and Leigh quips"He was this way when we got married the first time.Why we eloped instead."Beth and Sully laughs and Beth says with a laugh"Xavier isn't patient.If he had it his way you guys would be eloping tonight."Leigh laughs as does Sully.Ciarra and Tenny arrives after shopping and both of them are bickering.Tenny argues with her Sister"I told you to let me pick out the damn gift you stubborn old woman."Ciarra looks at Beth,Leigh,and Sully and quips"Tennessee's having a senior moment."All of them laughs as Tenny tells Ciarra"You brought something old,I brought something blue and well we have something new coming soon from Leigh."Beth tells her Mother and Aunt with a laugh"You two behave yourselves."As Sully,Beth,and Ciarra gets everything finalized,Leigh and Tenny sits down on the couch and Tenny looks at Leigh and says"So you're having twins."Leigh sighs"Yes I am.It's hard to believe."Tenny says calmly"No it isn't.Ciarra had a child in her 40s and it's normal.You make Xavier happy and that's all that matters."Leigh smiles and says to Tenny"I'm just glad things are good right now and everything worked out."Tenny sighs and holds Leigh's hand and says"Me too Leigh.Me too."
   At Ava's Mansion,Ava is preparing to head to Hell Hill with Ruth and Jack comes downstairs and is preparing to leave.Ava asks her Son"Are you going to Xavier's Bachelor Party?"Jack looks at his Mom and says in frustration"I'm going to see Rachel."Ava rolls her eyes and says with a tone of disgust"You're still under the whore's spell aren't you?"Jack ignores Ava's insult and leaves.Ruth asks her Daughter"That whore's carrying Xavier's child Ava.You need to let your grudges go."Ava looks at her Mother and says"I don't want Jack to get hurt.I'm only protecting him the best way I know how."Ruth responds"I understand that Ava,but your tactics are going to cost you badly if you keep it up.Willie told me that you and Aretha are having differences over her too."Ava rolls her eyes and says"Yes Aretha and I are at odds over Rachel.She reminds me of Jamie."Ruth looks at Ava and tells her Daughter sternly"Willie and I have been best friends from when we picked cotton in the fields at Hell Hill.You and Aretha have been friends since childhood.Don't let your differences over Rachel ruin that friendship."Ava is silent as Ruth tells Ava"Let's get on over to Hell Hill.I've braced myself in case Tenny wants to start in about Frank and Beth's marriage years ago or anything else.She is quite snobby."Ava says"And you wonder where I got my temper from.I'll never forget the reception from Beth and Frank's wedding and you and Tenny went at it."Ruth laughs and says"Tenny never liked our family,especially Frank after his affair with Claudia.That woman can hold a grudge."Both of them laughs and heads for Hell Hill.
   Meanwhile Xavier's arrived at The Jackson Room at The Sunset Club,and finds Bobby,Country,Jared,Jacob,Frank,Jack,and Burt waiting.Xavier notices all the alcohol and a stripper pole in the middle of the room and Xavier looks at Burt and Country and asks"Which one of you did this?"Burt quips"It wasn't me."Country,who's already buzzed,yells"I did it X!We're going to party tonight before you tie yourself down again."Xavier tells them"I don't think that will be needed.I have been single too long.I'm ready to renew those vows to the woman of my dreams."Xavier pours himself a drink and tells everyone"I got three children on the way.It's a lot to take in."Country yells"Three?Damn you get around!"Xavier looks at him and says"I have one accident and Leigh's carrying twins."Frank pours a drink as does everyone else except Jacob,who passes on the alcohol and has club soda instead.Frank says"I propose a toast to my Brother Xavier,whom I'll always see as a Son.You deserve to be happy and here's to you and Leigh!"All of them toasts and Xavier asks everyone"When the wedding starts tomorrow,Frank,you're going to walk Leigh down the aisle.Country,Burt,Jared,you guys will be my best men.Bobby,I want you to be the ring bearer and Uncle Jacob,make sure my Grandma behaves herself."Jacob laughs"That one's a lost cause" as all of them laughs.As everyone parties,Jacob sits down and Xavier notices it and sits next to his Uncle and asks him"Are you ok?"Jacob shrugs and says"I'm fine Xavier.At my age these kinds of occasions wear an old man like me out."Xavier looks at his Uncle and says"I think this will be the Country show from the looks of things."Jacob laughs and says"He is definitely enjoying himself."Xavier quips"The Club will love the check they get in the morning."Meanwhile Country,Burt,Jack,and Jared drinks up and are enjoying themselves immensely.Frank and Bobby are talking and Bobby tells Frank"I'm glad to see you and Xavier growing close again."Frank pats Bobby on the back and says"Me too Bobby.I did him wrong growing up as well as Beth."Bobby asks Frank"You still love her don't you?"Frank is quiet for a moment and says"Yes I do.But we're better as friends."Bobby tells Frank"B.R. wouldn't admit to you,but he always watched the races back when you were driving.He was proud of you.He wasn't one to show it but he was."Frank is humbled and says"Daddy and I were very similar.I think that's why we always fought."Bobby agrees and tells Frank,changing the subject back to Beth,he advises Frank"You should asks Beth out for a date and see what happens."Frank shrugs and says"I'm not sure.I might."Meanwhile as Country,Burt,and Jared party up,Xavier sneaks out as does Jacob.Bobby notices and tells Frank"We're going to have to chaperone this one."Frank laughs and says"I have to agree."
   Back at Hell Hill,Ava and Ruth has arrived as Beth,Sully,Leigh,Tenny,Ciarra,and Gabriella has already got things underway.Tenny notices Ruth and asks her sarcastically"I didn't think you would arrive as you're so modest."Ciarra slaps Tenny's hand and says to her Sister"I warned you."Ruth looks at Ciarra and says"Your Oldest Sister doesn't bother me.She is entitled to her own opinions on my family.Remember,opinions are like assholes."Ciarra laughs as does Ava.Tenny is silent and notices Beth gathering at the table in the living room and tells everyone"I want to make a toast!To my beautiful Daughter In Law,who is carrying twins and to a long and happy marriage to the love of her life,my son."All of the ladies toast as Sully stands next to her Mom and Leigh is quiet and everyone toasts.Meanwhile,more guests arrive as Aretha comes inside and Ruth welcomes her and behind her follows Rachel.Ava,who's had a few drinks,yells at Rachel"What in the hell are you doing here you whore?"Everyone rolls their eyes as Rachel tells Ava in a cocky tone"I was invited."Ava looks around and asks"Who in the hell invited this bitch to the party?"Beth tells Ava"I did.Call it breaking her in since she's carrying my Grandchild as well."Sully is shocked and asks her Mother"So Rachel Lane's also pregnant and carrying Daddy's child?"Leigh says to Sully"Yes she is.She told us yesterday and I can only respect her for telling us about it."Aretha warns Ava"This is a happy occasion so straighten your ass out."Ava yells back at Aretha"Why are you so damn protective over this attention-seeking tramp?"Aretha looks at Ava and says to her sternly"Now I'm warning you to knock it off."Meanwhile Sully tells Beth as the fireworks starts"I have to side with Ava.Why did you invite Rachel?"Beth and Leigh tells Sully"Like it or not,Rachel is carrying your brother or sister.We take care of our own."Meanwhile on the couch,Ruth,Tenny,and Ciarra are also watching the fireworks and Ruth quips"Damn I wish I could have something to drink right about now."Tenny watches on and says"This is a true Southern get together.We should have charged admission for this."Ruth and Ciarra looks at Tenny and says at the same time"Shut up Tenny!"Back to the fireworks,Rachel begins to lay into Ava,snarling"I beat you to it didn't I?I know you have it out for me because I'm with your son.And I know it just gets at you that my child will be calling you Auntie Ava."Ava slaps Rachel and Aretha tells Ava"I warned you" and Aretha slaps Ava,telling her"You know better than to slap a pregnant woman!"Ava snaps"I make concessions when it comes to snakes like Rachel."Leigh sneaks off and tells Beth and Sully"I think Hell Hill is coming alive and I'm bolting!"Sully and Beth stays behind as Aretha defends Rachel and Ava quips"You have to protect your cover story don't cha?The poor little rich tramp who sleeps with whoever she can drug or manipulate."Aretha has enough Rachel is ready to fight and Ruth and Ciarra walks Rachel out as a cat fight ensues between Aretha and Ava.Tenny meanwhile walks over to Beth and says"My bet's on Ava."Beth replies"This has turned into a disaster."Sully yells"Party's over!"Beth breaks Aretha and Ava up and Tenny yells"Why did you do that Beth?I was enjoying the show!"Beth sarcastically responds"A bit too much."Sully and Gabriella takes Ruth home as Rachel is outside,before Sully and Ruth leaves,Sully sternly tells Rachel"I'm watching you."
